How Much Is A MTG LotR Collector's Booster Box Worth 5 Months Later?

Hello everyone! In this video we open a Magic: The Gathering Universes Beyond The Lord of the Rings Tales of Middle-Earth Collector Booster Box and then perform a little 'profit analysis' (if you can even call it that) at the end which simply consists of scanning all of the cards into the DelverLens App and looking at the total / some individual card prices at various levels.
Full disclosure, I opened this box back in June when it first released, but I never uploaded the footage and honestly I mostly forgot what I pulled, so I did a voiceover while editing the prices on-screen in real-time. Let me know if you like this type of content because I have many more pre-recorded openings.
Spoiler alert: This is not the most profitable box. We did get a few solid hits, but overall the total price of the cards was less than the price of the box. This is partly due to this set containing serialized cards, which keep the box price high considering how much the Serialized Cards sell for. Nonetheless, I do love this Lord of the Rings crossover and I find the cards very cool, so it was well worth it for me just for the experience of being able to open a box. I think these have a much better print quality than the holiday Set. I did not like the etched art on Commander Master. I think this set Will hold good value. They also made the surge foil cards look a little too much… These ones has a much real effect

I agree! As I was going through I was noticing how clean and flat the foils were compared to the Holiday ones that I just opened. Definitely a good set!
