I liked how you went over the different slots and what you could pull. Everyone else's video really glossed over it. At least it felt glossed over to me lol. I get it now thanks. I've only opened 8 or 9 packs so far.

My pleasure, I'm glad to hear that you found it helpful! There's a million videos out there of people just ripping through packs so I like to take some time to explain what's going on in the packs so that people know what to expect when they open their own. I hope that you got some good pulls from your packs! =)

Pulled an Emrakul, The World Anew borderless foil from my bundle, was a really fun opening experience, and the box is so beautiful.

Wow, that's a super lucky pull, congrats!
And I agree, the set overall is a really fun one to open, and I really like the art on the card storage box too =)

Long time sealed Pokémon vintage and modern collector but have recently gone down the MTG rabbit hole. Really enjoyed opening LOTR and Outlaws the last few weeks. Actually just got a few more outlaws booster boxes in the mail today as well as picking up 2 MH3 bundles for $60 each from a local shop that I plan to rip. MH3 hype is what caught my interest and I squirreled away collectors booster boxes as well as Eldrazi commander decks collectors and non. Biggest regret being all the Fallout boosters I had in my hand at release but didn't buy because I lacked the knowledge. I went in on Assassin's Creed collector boxes even though I'm not a fan like Fallout just so I wouldn't regret it if they do become hard to find. Already looking for vintage sealed sets to add to my collection as well as open some of the cheaper unpopular sets just to open for nostalgia.

Oh wow, very cool! You definitely picked an interesting few sets to get into MTG. It's a great product for collecting though, as it's been around for so long and there's so many cool and unique sets available.
I'm not typically a fan of the "Universes Beyond" sets, like Fallout and Assassin's Creed, but LotR was one of my favorite sets of all time - both for playability as well as collectability.
Modern Horizons 3 is quite unique in that it's more of an "Advanced Player Set" as opposed to a traditional Set, which means that it's packed with a lot more complex and potentially powerful cards.
I'd just be careful with the Assassin's Creed set because they are debuting "Beyond Boosters" which have less cards than a typical Set / Play / Collector Booster, but I do personally thing that the crossover is quite cool.
Buying sealed Vintage can be a bit of a gamble, but they have pretty much all trended upwards over time. I'd just watch out for any sets that have specific chase cards that may be reprinted, because that will tank their value quicker than anything.
Opening some of the older sets from the past 5-7 years to check them out can be really cool, as they haven't gone up as much in price but still contain some really awesome cards. I'm not sure what your aesthetic style is but I'd highly recommend looking into Kamigawa Neon Dynasty for a set that fits that criteria - I actually have a video on it on this channel if you're interested (th-cam.com/video/rRAQ7D40qWU/w-d-xo.html).
Either way, welcome to the MTG Community and I hope that you have a blast collecting!

@@SigsPlays I have just been enjoying opening everything and have been taking a lot of time per pack actually reading every card and trying to figure it all out that way. Really loving the artwork and the borderless cards from LOTR and Outlaws even if they are worthless I've been building a binder.
Opened a MH3 bundle so far and really enjoy the eldrazi and did okay with a Tamiyo mythic and ended up right around my $60 back but hoping for some borderless in my other box. Just taking my time and enjoying every card.
I steered clear from the Beyond boosters and my sealed collection has been collectors booster boxes so far and opening Set/Play boosters for fun. Oddly enough the beyond booster boxes have actually held value better than collectors boxes for Assasin's but such a short print run I'm glad i have the boxes i do.
As for vintage i know how it goes with Pokemon and I view vintage as a nostalgic collection item if i do decide to part with them in the future and i can get close to my money back cool but not to worried about it. I've been looking to get a Fallen Empires box with the goal to open being the oldest set that's still only $500 box knowing ill get nothing back as soon as i tear the film.
Dragons Maze and some other cheap boxes that are of the last 10 years have peaked my interest as well. I really love the Retro frame cards so Ravnica remastered has been fun for me.
I have looked into Kamigawa just yet to pick any up but i will soon. Thanks for everything!

I was lucky that me and my partners found some mispriced at big box store and they had to honor it. Got 4 gift bundles for $24.99 each. Some card vendors don't care. 1 box had about $110 in value so it paid for the other 3 basically. Now we watch out every week when the vendors stock.

Wow, that's a great deal! It's definitely worth getting as many as possible at *that* price lol
