Thanks for watching. Hmm, I would say many shots before the wreck dive are from Richelieu, when you see purple coral or Nemo nests that is Richelieu. Beautiful place, they removed it from top 10 in the world but in my opinion it is one of top 5😀🐟.
Thank you for watching. As far as camera - I do like and recommend Lumix GH5 or 6 . Depends on what you want to film, for macro and close ups, Olympus TG 5 delivers great results. Many cameras can deliver great results but key is lighting so LED light is a must for colours.
Thanks for your comment! Yes, very colourful reefs and fish some places. Hope you visit Richelieu rock, it never disappoints. Have fun and bring powerful light if you want to see true colours below! Happy diving!
Yeah, looking forward to my Thailand Holiday, probably with a few days on Similan..looks quite amazing. There was a nice "bubble-ring" shooting scene at abou 4:50... How were the rings made and shoot?
Good for you, enjoy! If you can, include Richelieu rock dive site on your itinerary it is an outstanding dive. The DM brought that bubble ring gun, it was connected to his low pressure hose by BCD inflator I think. Then shot like a gun. Quite heavy unit. Have fun!
Thanks, I am glad you enjoyed the video. I use two lights on each side of my camera mount. Two generic non branded lights but they are powerful. Below is a link. Did they pick you up from your hotel as part of the trip? If so what area? Still waiting on an answer from liveaboard people before booking a March trip

Amaizing video !!! But 3-4 dives a day isn't it a little bit too exhausting ? That's the only thing that i'm afraid of because after 2 dive we're usually really down
Thanks for your comment 😊. Do you usually dive from a Liveaboard? I find Liveaboards so convenient and well set up for 3/4 even 5 dives a day. Usually the excitement of each dive gives me energy and motivation to keep on diving, once I establish routine it seems easy when conditions are good 😊 🐟.
Thank you for your comment. I use Panasonic Lumix GH5 camera. Fairly inexpensive lights non - brand lights but they are powerful. Hope this link works. I use the QH14-4 configuration. www.ebay.com/itm/194273942648?hash=item2d3ba11c78:g:eZcAAOSwqK9hLEOK
Very Nice Video :) thanks for sharing. i m looking at this exact same boat, begining of November this year, any idea if it a good time to go diving there?
Thank you for your comment, I am glad you liked it. Camic is OK boat although I noticed kitchen had good cockroach infestation 😳. Crew and dive guides were Thai . Not 100% on November weather but we travelled early December and had great visibility and calm waters.

Amazing video and great places to dive 👏 😮
Great video! Apart from the wreck at the end, what proportion of the video footage roughly do you think comes from Richelieu?

Hi. Glad you like the video. Yes they did provide transportation both ways, we were in Phuket.
@@czele123 thanks
Wonderful watch. Can't believe the quality of that camera! Thank you 🙏
Thanks for watching and kind comment. Yes, the camera is great indeed, still learning to use it to full capacity.😀
Very nice place! Thanks for sharing!!!
👍 beautiful indeed. Thanks for watching!
Also how deep is that? I’m from Thailand and it looks pretty free-divable
@@KCKFC1
It is edited from 16 different dives so depth varies, maximum 30m but mostly 15-20m. All in marine park, not sure if free diving is allowed.

Amazing video! Thinking of going to Similan ende of this year..how are conditions in Dec?
Thanks 😊, glad you like it. Conditions were great, calm seas, good visibility. No manta, no whale sharks🙁.
Have you booked your trip yet?
For Manta and Whalesharks, March and April best. Head to Koh Bon just north of the Sims.
Camera quality is great! What model are you using?
Thanks. I use Panesonic- Lumix GH5

Hi! Do you use red lights when shooting or white light mode?
Hi. I only use white light mode and some post processing.

Hi, how do you dive in similan island? Is there any dive agency?
Hi. I used Liveaboard.com to book my trip.
There are other agencies such Notroublesjustbubbles.com, or Google search for liveaboards.
