We're excited to have you back to see the continuing progress we're making on our retro 1976 Dodge CruiseAir RV! In this video we finish the brake project by installing a new master cylinder and bleed the brake lines in the B300 van. We continue by installing an awesome wood ceiling. This transformation changes the whole feel of the vintage camper! We even sneak in a little fun blind taste test challenge to determine how Fiddle Faddle stacks up against Cracker Jacks and Crunch n' Munch.

If you ever have to use that glue upside down, such as on the ceiling, try using a Spatula! Put some on and then spread it so a larger area grabs the wood!

Cracker Jack's was such a treat when we were kids, wasn't it?
For future reference. I learned a long time ago well over 40 years ago. Nonetheless, that when you are applying a type of wood that you will glue with say, maybe liquid nails. Always apply your liquid nails directly to the paneling or bored. That will be going above your head! This way, you don't have to worry about the adhesive falling from the board onto the floor.
The overall progress of this project is amazing! I have been binge watching. At 324 episodes at a time over the last two and a half days comma and I absolutely satisfied and very happy! Thank you for sharing with us all!

I always got oranges in my stockings. And the only candy my great grandma had was those pink things with 3 x's on them that tasted like the pink tummy ache cure. The other great grandma stuck to horehound drops...yum!

I am livid caramel corn, peanut snack competition. My favorite is actually from the snack bar at the mall but I thought it was cute to have your entire family sans the twins participate.
You make a good point there, anything that is fresh made like at the mall would definitely be in it's own class! We like to do family taste tests on things from time to time. A couple months ago we compared 4 or 5 different waffle mixes, lol.
I would go over that ceiling with a roller and push quite firmly

Here's a tip, sprinkle a little cornmeal on counter tops and it will rid you of your ants. They eat it and can't digest it so ooops their gone. Have used it inside and outside and works every time. Love your idea of putting the paper on 45 degree angle on ceiling, it looks GREAT!! love your video's.

It doesn’t take very long at all. I had a big black ant family in a nest near a tree and sprinkled cornmeal around it and 3 days later they were gone. Also had small black ones in camper and not sure how many days but something like a week later I checked and had nothing but dead ones and no more problem.

OMGGGGGGGGGG crunch n munch 😮😳🤤🤤🤤 yesssss the best head to head 😂. I’m conflicted between the two, fiddle faddle and crunch n munch. Both were delicious. Also, I can’t hang with giant bugs 😂…I’m a big guy and a paramedic and I’ve seen and dealt with pretty much everything in my 14 year career and you toss a giant spider or worse something big that flies and I will assassinate anyone near me to escape 😂. But I love camping! I’m a desert guy when it comes to camping and don’t have to deal with those middle of the country giant bugs 😖

Just started watching your channel loving it I will say I did some self stick wall paper years ago I went ahead and used the spray adhesive really held well your husband is really patient doing the ceiling in wallpaper is probably have uneven lines and bubbles
The ceiling was about as fun as you would imagine it to be. We have a couple spots that don't seem to stick as well as others but we're going to go over all of it with a little roller and use spray adhesive where necessary. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
You left out the best popcorn treat of all "Screaming Yellow Zonkers" the had the other 3 treats beaten by far. However I don't know if they are still in production.
Someone mentioned Screaming Yellow Zonkers after the radiator video came out. We had never heard of them! We actually tried to get them for the taste test but, sadly, it doesn't look like they sell them anymore... either that or we didn't look hard enough, lol. Thanks for the comment!

Holy cow, look how well that ceiling turned out. Have to say, at initial description it sounded like it was going to be a big booboo, but nope, not at all. The only spot that looks like amateur hour is that back driver's side corner, but it's nothing that a little fiddle faddle won't cover, I'm sure. Pretty sure Maynerds has it in aisle 27. It's right next to the corn chips, easy cheese and kitchen gadgets.
The one outstanding issue that hasn't yet been covered is if the poo tank ever got cleaned out?? Inquiring minds need to know the status of the poo tank!! If not, Maynerd's also has poo tablets in the camping aisle. It's right past the gigantic candy aisle, you really can't miss it.
That sub counter is climbing by the week!! These mid westerners are becoming almost as popular as Chip and JoJo!! Has their call come through yet?? Pretty sure that should've happened by now!!
Between that faux wood ceiling treatment and those fancy green hoops, Harvey the RV is looking pretty darn stylin'. Keep up the great work, and looking forward to more mechanicing from Christy. It's very clearly her strong suit.
Thanks again for another great comment 😁 So, about the poo tank, we're pretty sure it's going to be ok but, totally honest, we haven't looked in there since that day at the campground when we overheated. I guess we should take another peek soon. Or, we could just throw caution to the wind and assume it's all good down there 🤷🏼♀️ On to the ceiling... there really was a big chance that it would be a big boo boo but thankfully it didn't turn out that way. Hopefully it lasts! I could see freezing temperatures doing something to the glue but only time will tell. Thanks again for watching!

i am loving the wallpaper on the roof. I don't know that I can pull off doing this on my own but I will try to do it the same way. My RV has weird stuff already on it not sure what to make of it. I'm scared to take it down for fear of what's underneath. Wish me luck.

Harvey the RV is starting to look awesome. I really like the ceiling treatment. It's unique and funky. You've inspired me to go back and work on a 1982 Glendale that I started and gave up on. I also really enjoy the playful communication between you guys. It's not easy to work on a project like this with someone else. You make it look easy.

I never heard of gluing paneling upside down you don’t put the glue on the ceiling first you put it on the panel first and then you push it up to the ceiling. Just another hint.
Haha, yes! That would have made it simpler! We didn't have any kind of workbench or table in the RV (or floor space) so it sounded like a better idea to just shoot it into the ceiling surface 😂. In hindsight, not the best idea.

I like the ceiling! When you held it up on the roll I wasn't too fond of it, but it looks really good once it's up, especially on an angle. We used to belong to an RV group. We used to go somewhere and camp every month in the summer. We had one couple who always bought fiddle faddle for snacks and I loved it!
Too funny that Fiddle Faddle and camping seem to go together somehow. Seriously, when we got that paper, especially looking at it out in the sun, it looked funky, yellow, and plasticky. We're really happy with how it turned out on the ceiling. Hopefully it stays up!

Really looking good guys. I do have a question though. Why is it that when you are using the liquid nails you put it on (for instance) the bottom of the cabinets and push the paneling onto the cabinet? Why not put it on the paneling first and then just push the paneling onto the bottom of the cabinet and then use a few screws? That way you don't have to worry about any liquid nails dripping down before you put the paneling on. Seems a lot easier.
Thanks, Lynn, and you all a good question. I think the main reason is that we didn't have a table or wouldn't or anything inside the camper where we could set the paneling. Even the floor is usually full of tools and whatnot. So, it seemed better to just squirt it on the ceiling (at the time) 😂😆😂.

Joyce, we are so happy you're enjoying our videos and thank you so much for sharing our channel with others! So, no, we haven't really talked about what we do for a living in any videos. We'll probably get into it in more detail at some point but currently Tyler is an electronics service technician and Christy works as a program director at a local school district. Nothing too glamorous, lol. Tyler is former Air Force and worked for several years as an automotive painter. Neither of us have formal training on this type of renovation so hopefully people don't take what we do too seriously 😆
