This is one of the nicest Touring cars I’ve ever seen. Everything is so proportional. Everything fits so well. It looks so toight, almost as if it was born to be this.

It's a great and way overdue move by BMW to finally release M3 Touring! Though I'd still rather sacrifice track capabilities in favor of that extra bit of additional comfort Alpina B3 Touring offers.
I''m sick of the SUV box fad. Got an estate . Bought it because the Reviewer who was Irish said you could get 10 dead bodies in the back !!. (ex IRA perhaps ?) It's a Skoda Superb Exec estate and at a push you can get 11 in the back 😆😆.

The netting thing that Mat took out the boot of the car can be fitted to the back of the rear seat when you have the folded down, so you can put a protective net between the cargo and the back of the carbon seats. Pretty standard feature on the Touring.
I miss the simple days of my silver-grey Renault 18 estate - of which strangely I am reminded of (I think we got it for around 1000 pounds at the time - in the early 90s).. that car did everything I needed as a student (apart from acceleration) - with enough room to sleep in the back with the seats folded, many trips between the UK and France, 1000s of miles camping trips across Europe - a truly practical GT of its time.

I haven't driven the last gen but if its anything like the earlier RS4 or RS6, its ultimate boredom. Great for gliding on the Autobahn but on some curvy mountain roads the M-cars are far superior.
Grill doesn’t look too bad on the M3, it’s a great looking car. 3.3 seconds to 60 is insane for a touring. This will sell easily to those who wanted a M3 touring for years which I bet is many enthusiasts.
They are unless you're a larger frame, having spent most of my life playing leg-growing sports, the centre carbon cutout really restricts thigh space, otherwise they're exceptional
The added coolness of the estate shape is almost enough to look past that front end...almost. Why BMW? It would have been the perfect car. When they update the front end next year, I hope the touring gets the same treatment.
10:12 Below the load cover that is! But let's not forget you can take that out and then you have a much taller space to work with plus you can fold the seats to down for even more space. Man I love station wagons...

One car for all: I can also recommend x3 M or cheaper version also perfect car M40i/M40d. U really dont need another car. For its money there isnt anything better.
And there is even some designated space for the dividers in the back if you don't need them 🫣👍So you always have them available if needed or you always know where to put them without them flying around in the back while driving.

Regarding the carbon seats being damaged with the rear seats down... That dog guard when the seats down clips into the back of the seats and extends up to anchor points near the B pillar. Disappointed you didn't push on that you can store the retractable load cover under the floor in the boot though. You normally complain when it can't be stored.
Wish the states got more wagons, I own a CW2 Acura TSX Sportwagon/Accord Euro Tourer and it's so practical yet fun to drive I don't know what I'd replace it with.
I'm confused. It sounded like Matt 180ft for the braking test, which is dreadful for a car like that. But when he converted it to metric, it said 28m. 28 meters is 92ish feet. Something isn't right here...

Literally the perfect car.. The only gripe I have is that digital dash. I could live with it though. But if only it had a normal dash...
It maybe cost $200k or 107k pounds.
Perfect apart from it looks like any other BMW and has a crap, fake sounding engine. Nothing special about it all.
