Home renos on top of a significant move to new jobs, new schools and a whole new way of life in a new community can be a stressful. FWIW - Take time out when you need it. Keep the family love front and centre, lean into the community and laugh every chance you get. No psych qualifications here but plenty of experience at what you're doing! Best wishes. Enjoy the ride. It will be fun to follow your journey. Thanks
@Ranger670 thanks mate, great advice! We are very thankful to have super supportive, family, friends and great new neighbours making the whole process a lot less stressful. Will be amazing once we are all settled 😊 thanks for watching mate 🍻
Love the green benchtops! We had the same in our house before we renovated. Brought back fond memories of younger days. It's great to have a master plan but just remember to take it one day at a time to achieve that plan. I love watching your travels and I love watching renovations. The perfect combo. Have fun and good luck.
The green tops seem to have been a popular choice back in the day 😂 great advice, it is very easy to feel overwhelmed with everything that needs to be done, but if we just tick it off one job at a time and remind ourselves we don't need to rush them, it takes the pressure off. Thanks for the support we really appreciate it 🍻
Looks like a renovators dream 🫣 Lots of blood, sweat and tears to be had but great memories to be made together!! Cam said by the looks you need a bathroom renovation 😂 well you know where we are if you need a hand guys always happy to help. That kitchen bench definitely needs to go in the camp kitchen 💯 💚💚 Miranda smart move leaving Craig behind to get the work done whilst your having the fun of picking all the new mods 👌 Keep up the awesome work it’s looking fab already 🤩
@wheatlandwanderers yep lots of work ahead but is going to be so satisfying to sit back and see the changes we made. Nah I think we might leave the bathroom, it is just perfect the way it is 😂😂 Thanks guys we really appreciate your support, can't wait for you to come down for a visit and a good catch up 😊 hope all is well!
@@RoaminintheRobbo We can’t either will be awesome to watch the transformation. Take care and happy renovating “Reno’s Till We Drop With the travelling Robbo’s” 😂
Hi there, I’m from Argentina, have been following you for some time already, great videos. Congratulation on your move, you have moved you have moved to the ideal place. With my wife we have put our house on sale, over a year ago, to do the same you have done. Selling a property here takes ages. We have two daughters that live in Brisbane and Gold Cost, will be visiting for xmas. All the best for you and your family
@arve192e thanks mate! Good luck to your and your wife on selling your home, hopefully you find a buyer soon 🤞 also enjoy your visit with your daughters, QLD is a beautiful place. Thanks for watching we really appreciate your support 😊
Looking good with the updates dont blame you for not gyprocing the ceilings yourself found them the hardest with having to look up all the time when we re-gyprocked our house but very satisfying when you sit back and you've nailed the finish on the joins main thing is to enjoy yourself
@LeighFinn-t3q thanks mate! We also don't know the first thing about gyprocking so will leave that to the experts 😂 I can imagine it is not a fun job! So satisfying to be able to look back at your handy work and see the difference you made isn't it 😁
After (mostly) completing our renos following our tree-change, I recommend you focus on kitchens and bathrooms. Get them right and the rest can be tolerated. Eventually we reached the point where we had to say 'No more.' So we hit the road last December and are only going back this week. Don't lose the travel bug.
@michaelsecomb4115 awesome advice Michael! Your so right once the kitchen and bathroom are done everything else is liveable and can be done in due course. To many beautiful places on our doorstep to explore that we couldn't lose the travel bug even if we wanted to 😁 That is awesome you have been on the road for so long, bet you have seen some amazing places 😍thanks for watching!
That place will be epic guys can’t wait to see it take shape. Hope you guys aren’t separated too long, u know we are not looking forward to 3mths apart.
@filthyoffroadadventures thanks guys! It has been exciting seeing the difference something simple like painting makes, think the place will come up really nice. Hope your time apart goes quickly!! We are lucky it is only 10 weeks and we will still be able to see each other in that time so that should make the time go quicker. Best of luck to Leisa for her move, yell out if we can help in any way.
Hey Craig and fam, another great episode. We had benches of that colour and I think our cupboards were the same colour as yours as well. Ok when growing up with it, but not great when you look back at the colours that were used back in the day. Love the house. In the kitchen walk through, behind you there's a wall oven, what is under the oven?
Thanks David! Yes was probably certainly very trendy back in the day as a lot of people seemed to have the same benchtops, but not so much now 😂 Underneath the wall oven is the old dishwasher, what a relic hey!! Thanks so much for watching mate 🍻
Starting to look great already. I sell Air-conditioning so could definitely help you get rid of that Window Rattler and put a Split System in.😂😂😂 Cant wait to see the next episode.
@leeambrose9449 thanks Lee we are so pleased with the changes so far, amazing what some paint can do! 🤣🤣 We can't wait to get rid of the old brown beast, they were such ugly things weren't they! Thanks for watching 🍻
You’ve got your work cut out there….It’s gunna look so nice when near completion….many hands make light work….theres over 5k subscribers you have Im sure some can chip in with a days work for a few beers 🍺 I’d put my name down but um I’m 9300 miles away 😂 it’s the thought that counts 😂 Good luck guys thanks for sharing the video it’s gunna be one cracking reno 🙌🏻
