Good that Miranda has not got her arm sling on looks like your recovery has gone well 🙌🏻 camo jumping straight in on the zip wire awesome no fear 💪🏼 that tree those bars around it spiralling upwards you just climb on them ? Where’s the health and safety 😂 great view from the top though. A cracking weekend away great stuff loved the video 🤗
@Neil-clare yeah it great the kids have no fear and are straight onto the ziplines! I, Miranda, on the other half was happy to keep my feet on the ground 😂 yep you used to just climb up the metal pegs and hold on for dear life! I have a feeling OH&S is part of the reason the trees are closed now. Will be interesting to see if they reopen at some stage. Was such a great weekend, always great to get away on nature, even better when it is with friends. Hope you and Clare had an amazing trip away!!
@@RoaminintheRobbo must be for health and safety reasons…it’s crazy high with nothing for ya safety…..but I find that part of the fun more exciting……living on the edge 🙌🏻 trails for the bikes looked cool 👍🏻 with friends makes it a better weekend away…adds a bit of charm 😂 ⬅️ hope ya know what film that quote is from 😂 yes mate had an amazing holiday thanks swimming with turtles and rays and all those fish was truly mind blowing…the GoPro was good to as that’s the first time I’ve used it…..Barbados beautiful place with the most friendly people I’ve ever met and the food was amazing….and to think I didn’t wanna go..I wanted to go to the maldives but it was Clare’s choice as it was her birthday present from me. @Neil-clare only one of the best movies!! 😁 glad you had such a good time, sounds like Clare picked well for her birthday. Would love to visit there one day 🤞 hope you have a great week too! Thanks for watching mate 🍻
Great episode guys. We have electric bikes now and we have all taken a stack on the dirt. Cam bounced back like a champ. As i said to the wife after her first stack, at least it means you are using the bike😂😂 Looking forward to the next episode 😀 👍
Thanks mate! Those electric bikes look pretty cool! Definitely easier for going up hills. Great way of thinking about the stacks, hopefully no one has been hurt. Was really impressed how Cam just brushed himself off and got straight back on, he is hooked on it now.
Just loved this area when we stayed there too. It has so much to see and do. We took the truck through the forrest on one of the back roads where we ended up getting very lost and it took us around a couple of hours to find our way out again 😂 was like a maze but we got to see a cool old railway line whilst we were there. After watching we instantly said to ourselves we must go back again and stay at the chocolate factory (that’s where we stayed), so good 😊 Sad to see they have closed off the Gloucester Tree though 🌳😔 they must of had a good reason. We like vanilla slice also but from the bakery 😝
What a great way to explore the area, get lost and see what you find 😊 it is such a beautiful area, how lucky are we to have it so close. The vanilla slice from the local bakery was delicious, much more the way we prefer it 😜
Hi mate love the videos, just a question I am going to travel the savannah way and gibb river Rd next year and was wondering what thime of year is the best , temp and amount of travellers? Looking forward to your reply 👍
Hey mate, thanks! We really appreciate the support. We travelled the savannah way late April and found the temps to be lovely and not to many people. Having said that though quite a bit of it was still closed due to previous rain so i guess it depends how much rain they get in the wet season. We hit the Gibb in mid June and the weather was beautiful. There were lots of people of the road but to be honest we didn't find it to bad. You still had your space. It was lovely at that time as the waterfalls were still flowing, which sometimes later in the season they aren't. Enjoy your trip, they are both magnificent places!
Another great episode, thank you! Looks like such a beautiful area 😍
Thank you! It is a spectacular area, with so much to do!
