Coming to Thailand to retire is on my bucket list. I would go there to live for good. It seems like good living.

I saw Chinese Chuck Taylors there - with Chinese writing on the side (high tops). Ima buy a pair, next time I'm in BKK. Also, across Sukhumvit from Siam Square (near the Hard Rock), is a great place to buy knock-off clothing - check it.

You keep seeing the same items in all the stores because they buy the stuff at the same wholesales market. I forgot what the market is called in Bangkok but they sell everything in bulk there. So shop owners go there and buy in bulk to sell it in their store.
I've brought several pairs in Turkey and I will again there at a bargain price and great for knocking about why be ripped off why miss a bargain 😎👍
