I am so grateful for your videos. As an older man with no family active in the church I find it keeps my tank full between Sundays. I tried to start a study group for people like me and everyone is so busy and only one or two people were interested and we could not coordinate it. I am in recovery from addiction and I find myself amazed that a person on addiction recovery can find a group and edify his spirit any day almost any time of the week but when it comes to the true church we are so wrapped up our circles that a person on the outside struggles to keep the spirit from week to week. Not a criticism of the church. I see it as an opportunity that we can learn from the spiritual program of AA.
@seansmith2289, I wholeheartedly agree! My husband died in 2017, and we both are the only Latter-day Saints and recovering addicts in our families. I am grateful to Bryce and others like him who encircle people like us who sometimes feel like outsiders. I love his sincerity and love for our Savior.
I to am a addict in recovery. These videos are a blessing and have greatly elevated my worship and scripture study. Long story short, you may feel alone but your not alone.
I am not in recovery, but to you three who just shared, you're each to be commended!! I admire each of you! I can't even stop drinking carbonated beverages, and you're all doing so amazing! You'll be in my prayers! What a blessing Bryce is to all of us! I crave doctrinal knowledge that keeps me engaged. Thank you all for your comments!!
Thank you again for this great and clear teaching. That is very helpful in our times today to deal with all these anti faith tactics and discern them for those who want to follow Jesus Christ. 🥰
Thank you so much for this!!! You are the most incredible teacher! Idk what it is, but you explain things SO clearly, then you usually repeat it, so while I'm chewing on the first part, you repeat it, and by then I'm just moving on to the next part while you're repeating it! Lol You TRULY bless my life!! I feel so happy after I listen to your episodes! P.S. Did I say THANK YOU?? LOL
Thank you 🙏🏽 you gave insights to ponder upon…I know that this Gospel is true, Jesus is our Savior and the His Father wants us all to choose Him, to return to Him❤
"We are NOT animals. We are Heavenly Father's children and the rules are different for us. We do not live by the rule of survival. We live by a moral code imposed in our very DNA." I love this sentiment and have said something similar several times in church.
Yet, we can learn so much from the law of the jungle. The gazelle has to wake up every day and be prepared to outrun the lion or it will be killed. The lion has to wake up every day and be prepared to outrun the gazelle or he will starve and die. The moral of this for us is, we need to be up and going everyday, moving forward and actively engaged, pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). If not, we subject ourselves to being devoured and destroyed. Law of the jungle applies to us, in this very real way.
Thanks Brother I really like your teachings and podcast, I live in Cancun Mex. And I whish that this information and videos where available for the saints in this country and the rest of the continent.
True question, if I have a stake president who has done a lot of awful things, both distant and recent/currently doing, how can I protest him without being a detractor to the church? Objecting in stake conference is not enough. He truly is not a good man.
Have you talked to your Bishop? Start there, but don't do anything anonymously. If you have legitimate concerns or proof. The church will probably do little with anonymity. So be prepared to be known by him in most cases unless you provide sufficient proof and request anonymity. I'm sure the church hears quite often about misconduct and often it's just disgruntled members who don't like someone. Because of that be prepared to offer proof, witnesses, etc. Not every Bishop or stake president is always like by everyone so the church is also aware of that and probably give them the benefit of the doubt.
I did tell my bishop, he abruptly stopped me, as if to say, "please don't cause me problems" and clearly didn't want to discuss it. Law enforcement knows all about it. 3 potential felony charges, but the victims don't want to press charges. 6 or 7 witnesses. I think he brings down the faith of others.
Great podcast. Love your insights. I have one difference of opinion. . . One of the biggest Walmarts near to me, closed off all of their self-checkouts. I found out that it was because there was so much theft. Wish you were right, but people are not always better than animals. . . at least in that way.
Luv what ur doing, but consider this. In correcting Nehor for correctly teaching that in the end all God's children will be saved, U are setting yourself up as an anti-Christ. Luv how U pointed out that Satan mixes truth with error. Nehor is right that, in the end, all God's children will be saved. Nephi says the same thing as he wrap's up his writings in 2N33:12. In vs 3 he testifies that he knows his prayer will be granted, and in vs 12 he prays that "many of us, if not all, will be saved". By denying this, a person is denying the power of the atonement of Christ. Anti Christ. Nehor Misses the truth in the previous vs by asking for preistcraft. Also, he didn't believe in repentance. Which you have to go to Alma 15:15 to pick up on. Alma the younger clearly teaches that God saves all His children in Mosiah 27:25,30-31. In fact, it's important to understand that the entire message of the BofM, isn't a discourse between heaven and hell. It is about spirit prison or paradise. Lehi points this out in the 1st chapter of 1st Nephi, when he prays for Jerusalem not to be destroyed and is told. No! To late, and he sees their destruction and reacts by praising God for His tender mercies and kindness. Only, however, after seeing the atonement of Jesus Christ. This eternal truth, that God saves all His children can also be seen in Moses chapter 4. Where we find Satan, who wants to be the Son of God, which I suppose is a Priesthood office. Let's everyone know that he understands the job description. By proclaiming "I will save them all." vs 1. Note in vs 3 as God shares why Satan is dismissed from heaven, that saving all God's children, is not one of the reasons. That's the very job of being , the Savior. Well thank you Bryce, I know U already know all this and again, I luv what ur doing. Just wanted to clarify. To me it is the foundation of understanding the true nature and character of God which Joseph Smith says, in lectures on faith, is necessary to understand in order to have faith unto salvation.
And therein is the slippery slope. Even in emphasizing your point, if it comes across as eat, drink, and be merry; nevertheless, fear God-he will justify in committing a little sin, I have shifted over to the other anti-christ side of mercy without justice.
Would you mind, for everyone who read your post, defining, what you mean by “saved.” Let’s be clear on the doctrine. Do you mean resurrected? Brought back into the Father’s presence to be judged? Granted a kingdom of glory? Or are you claiming that all will be exalted in the highest degree of the Celestial Kingdom?
@@talkingscripture U R so right. There R no shortcuts. I did mention that where Nehor Misses the truth, is that they did not believe in repentance. God chasens those He loves. Pres. Woodruff when dedicating the SLC temple announced a change in church policy. He said that from then on, members coming to the temple to be sealed would be sealed to their parents or they wouldn't be sealed at all. Previously it had been common to be sealed to a general authority because the patrons own parents had rejected the true gospel. In defending the change, President Woodruff said "no doubt after spending so much time in hell, all the antediluvians have accepted the gospel. They know more there than they did here. There will be very few, if any, that will not accept the gospel". It would appear that hell has a very strong influence on agency. (and the love of Christ even stronger). This is not God's 1st time at the rodeo. He knows how to correct His children to obtain the desired effect. That's all I'm saying.
@@talkingscripture this is a hard one to address on this format. But to be brief in writing, I'll attempt to give you the readers digest version of my answer. 1st, I hope no one gives 2 cents worth about what I think. I am a cypher. I am so impressed with you, that not only do you find the time to teach of Christ, but that U would actually respond to my post. Wow! #2. El. McConkie, said that most times when salvation is talked about in the scriptures, it is in reference to exaltation. #3. Resurrection is salvation. There R hundreds of scriptures to be used here. But since we just finished studying it I'll use 2 Nep 9 the whole chapter but I guess vs 12 is as good a summery as any. My favorite is the veil ceremony, but probably not appropriate here. #4. As far as doctrine goes. El. Talmage and I think El Smith both released books at the same time. One believing that there was progression between kingdoms and the other not. The 1st Presidency in 1952 released an official statement that said the church has no official position. So that settles the doctrine question. We don't know. #5. And lastly. Getting back to my foundation. An understanding of the true nature and character of God. That we might have faith necessary for salvation (exaltation). Quoting Joseph from the King Follet sermon. " The first principles of man are self-existent with God. God himself, finding he was in the midst of spirits and glory, because he was more intelligent, saw proper to institute laws whereby the rest could have a privilege to advance like himself. The relationship we have with God places us in a situation to advance in knowledge. He has power to institute laws to instruct the weaker intelligences, that they may be exalted with Himself, so that they might have one glory upon another, and all that knowledge, power, glory, and intelligence, which is requisite in order to save them in the world of spirits" and one more ""The great Jehovah contemplated the whole of the events connected with the earth, pertaining to the plan of salvation, before it rolled into existence, or ever 'the morning stars sang together' for joy; the past, the present and the future were and are, with Him, one eternal 'now'; He knew of the fall of Adam, the iniquities of the antediluvians, of the depth of iniquity that would be connected with the human family, their weakness and strength, their power and glory, apostasies, their crimes, their righteousness and iniquity; He comprehended the fall of man and his redemption; He knew the Plan of Salvation and pointed it out; He was acquainted with the situation of all nations and with their destiny; He ordered all things according to the council of His own will; He knows the situation of both the living and the dead, and has made ample provision for their redemption, according to their several circumstances, and the laws of the kingdom of God, whether in this world, or in the world to come." D&C 88:19-20 & 2 N 2:12 point to the nature of God. Everything that He creates must meet the full measure of it's creation, or God ceases to be God. I'm sure this is new to you. But you have to admit, that (if) God could pull it off. It truly would be a marvelous work and a wonderful, to have no empty chairs at the table. Which by the way is the very definition of fullness of joy which God enjoys 3 N 27:30-31. Be very careful in betting against God. He is omnipotent you know. Man that was way too long, sorry. But you did ask.
If you’re just counting them, there are many. Alma the younger was an antichrist for a while. But in my opinion, we only have four from whom we have sufficient teachings to extrapolate how to combat their influence. And those are the four that I have listed.
Thank you for the Book of Mormon and teachers like you
thank you for this video! I enjoy listening to all of them. The temple ones, in particular were very wonderful!
You are a good teacher. Thankyou
I love this. Thank you for revealing the tactics of the adversary. Love these videos! Thank you, Bryce!

I too crave a daily gospel discussion. I have adults at work, children at home, and I am surrounded by Mormons on phones. No one on one contact.
Thanks Bryce!!!
