Thanks for posting this one and sharing your experience and know how. How will you go about filling the rectangular cut outs in the front of the plenum?
No worries mate, hope these videos help others, i made panels that are painted the same colour as the body and i used some adhesive to glue them on so if i need to take them off in the future i can still remove them.
@@shedsessions4222 Saw similar cutouts on a restored f100 a few years ago they had cut three rectangles similar to yours in the plenum, but extra one in the centre and they left them open just as yours are and painted, they did not worry about closing them with plates.
@@kimmeyer633 yeah i've made plates for it which you will see in latwr vids on my other f truck i've done the plates on the inside on the back of the plenum as it rusted where the factory plated over the lhd wiper holes, instead of fixing the rust i turned it into a rectangle and building similar style plates to do the same job, not as accessable but will be while the dash is out, that truck also has a custom firewall so things are being a bit different.
