i had the theory that andy simbolizes his political views in some way, as an awful bounty hunter who calls himself a cowboy and has every object to prove it, the horses, the revolver, the hats, the clothes. Meanwhile spike is the REAL cowboy, who actually wanders around hunting people for a living and wont back off when the situation doesnt go as planned, whereas Andy realizes he doesnt want to be a cowboy when he almost falls off a building in his fight with spike

Teddy Bomber is a reference to Ted Kaczynski, the Unabomber, who sent B-mbs in the mail and wrote a manfiesto called "Industrial Society and It's Future" which was printed in the papers as part of a condition he asked for to stop Mailb-mbing. which is also referenced @7:30 when the news host read out.

      He said “Go, Jiroumaru”
Jiroumaru is the new name he gave to his horse, it can be understood as “second-in-command”/“second officer” in this context with Andy/“Musashi” as the first

This episode and the reasson why the villain destroys buildings its something more than just a critic to the capitalism.
I really like to think that every episode of Cowboy Bepob have meaning, sometimes, even all the scenes.
But the only episode that i have found the meaning, it was "Cowboy Funk", because of a youtube channel from my country (Brazil) that have explained it. Of course its just a theory, but makes a lot sense to me.
The real meaning of this episode its a "critic to the action movies of the 90's". The episode starts showing us a Cowboy called Andy that really follows his cliche, he has a horse and a revolver and even a song that anounces his arrival and that matches with everything that are happening in the scene(The oposite of what happens in Cowboy Bepob, where we have a relaxed song even on starships fights). For now lets just forget about the villain of this episode (He will be very important to that theory at end). After some moments we have the scene where Faye have decided to do the role of a girl in dangerous another cliche in the western movies and at some point she have been treated like a mirrow, like she is just there to make the main Cowboy of this episode more complete.
Talking about your villain we never know why he keeps destroying buildings until the end where he explains: he do that because the buildings represents the capitalism on his own and by destroying those buildings he expect to see new things. Thats very important to the theory, the villain, Teddy represents the fans of the action movies that expect new things to happen, and guess what, it have, now the movies dont work anymore with Cowboys but with Samurais and who cares with there is a new cliche or the old ones ?
Another thing that comproves this theory its the transition of commercials, doesnt they look similar to the poster of Star Wars, a action movie from the 90's ? Cowboy Bepob shows that he's not this kind of movie and return with another image that its the opossite of the first one.
The idea of using funk for this episode while matches with this theory too. While Cowboy Bepob have some pretty good songs that doesnt need to be part of the pop culture just like the show, the funk are completely the oposite of that, he have to be on the culture pop just like the action movies of the 90's.
Sorry for my bad English, its hard to write big texts even on my motherland language.
