The "Well under the floor" story reminded me of an eerie story Paul Harvey told one time about a family that had bought a home in Kansas. Years went by and a place on the floor got bad and needed replacing. So, thinking it would be a simple 2-3 hour job he measured and cut and somehow a peace went down through the small hole he had cut. He got a flashlight and shined it down through the hole and saw nothing. So he cut the hole larger and shined a bigger light down in it thinking it was a basement he didn't know they had. When his larger light didn't reveal anything, he called the fire department and with their high powered flood lights revealed the house was built over a salt mine shaft that went a thousand feet down. Now THAT is a deep basement.

when i was little, my parents gave me a toy cow that laughed (now that I think of it, the laugh was terrifying) every time somone threw it or punched it. I did have some minor anger issues when i was younger but their gone now. So I had this cow for like two weeks then when the cow started laughting randomly at times. Its not like it was falling of a shelf or something, it was just lying on my bed. I was next to it and holy sh*t, that scared the living hell out of me. Oddly enough, it only randomly laughed when i was around, remember, I was 8-9 years old at the time. A little while later the laugh became disorted and glichy.
After telling my parents and disposing of it, I still couldn't sleep alone in my room for like 3 weeks.
The toy probalby broke at some point when I was playing (*cough* beating it up *cough*). Still, the experience traumatized me.

The maniacal laugh it was producing was most likely a production flaw
It randomly starting to laugh on its own was most likely the mechanism breaking due to you “playing” with it too much
And that it only laughed when you were around isn’t correct,it probably laughed on its own a lot when you weren’t there too, just, you never heard so cuz obviously you weren’t around

Chilliwack, BC! I used to live there, and even once had an injured bat (being chased by a cat) fly into my house. We kept it for a few months until her wing was healed and released her. I named her fruity. This was about 20 years ago. I see the Fraser Valley is as batty as ever, cool! It's a smallish town and it's in Canada, so I never expect to see it mentioned anywhere. Neato.

You could not pay me a million dollars to take one step inside , the same goes for most of my family ( brothers , sisters , and especially my mom )

Every house has a story. And every ground under a home also has a story. My childhood home was built by my grandpa, and he confided in me before he passed away at the age of 98 years. Therefore I know the secrets of the house and things that once didn’t make sence are actually explainable. Like.... why he forbid us to dig upp the floors while renovating the house. Turns out there might actually be at least 5 skeletons underneath. Including 2 kids that were murdered. Not by my grandpa but he saw it happen and he was so scared he’d be blamed for it, that he decided to bury the bodies and just add a room over that. So the house kind’a got a new room for everyone put underneath it. I should mention though, that this happened in greece during the time that germany occupied most of it during the world war and death was something that ”just happened”. He’s told lots of stories from that time but I most clearly remember when he told me about all those buried bodies under the house. So mo hidden rooms, tunnels or wells. Just some buried old skeletons. 🤷🏼‍♀️

"Hey _____.. this painting looks like you but with pale skin and black hair heheh... where did you get it from?" And she replied with "Oh.. I dont remember that painting, mabye my mom just got it, mabye just a coincidence." Later we played some minecraft and went upstairs but I saw the picture again in her room.. I asked her why it was here and she just shrugged, I kept seeing the picture everywhere until the power went out, her parents left and we were all alone so we got scared and got some snacks and just ran to her room.. but when we got to her room I saw the picture again but instead there were 2 pictures, one with the girl on the right and one with the girl on the side! She started getting worried about the pictures and we rushed to call her parents on the old phone downstairs, they didn't pick up and my older cousin jumped out of the closet and said "BOO LOSERS" we got so scared I fainted and she was jsut as still as a starfish, she said she pranked us and drew all the pictures and hit the power switch, too this day my cousin HATES Japanese urban legends.

My grandfather bought a really nice house in the early 70s and found a stash of cars. Apparently the cars were used by crime families in Miami. But we're not used in any crimes. So with the scare came some really great much needed relief. We got to keep $1.4 million worth of cars

Have you guys hear of “Disappointment rooms? Where way back any affluent family who’d give birth to any sort of disabled child in any way, would lock them away and make no mention of their existence. Sadly, it could’ve been one. I truly hope it wasn’t but there’s always the possibility..

@@jackdurden466 I think I’ve seen in a recent video game(involves something called the Sangurine; a boy who can control plague rats) of what you mean. This boy was locked up in his room in a castle.
