Ever think about using smart plugs or strips? I use them with my set up. Enables you to use Alexa, smart phone, set schedules, or even automations with IFTT. I even set up my bottom drain air diffuser to only run when it’s warmer in the winter. Not pumping extra cold air thru water I’m trying to keep warmer. My opinion is they’re really great for hands free operations.

Snap! I hate those boxes too. Expensive and wouldn’t even fit a 2.5mm cable let alone take an armoured cable gland 😑
Honestly - the workshop drives me mad at the moment. It’s become the dumping ground for everything 😡

How do I install the tempest after the eazy pod, would I use a rubber boot reducer from 4 inches outlet from eazy pod to 2 inches for tempest. Thanks Tony.

Pressure filters are great for pre-filtration and mechanical cleaning. I do not see why they get such bad press. As long as there is also plenty of biological filtration after the mech process that should not be a problem - should it?
I run a pressure filter before my shower on my grow on with good results. I think the bad rep comes when owners believe the adverts stating a few turns/pumps of a cleaning handle will clean the filter. Really, they should be opened up and cleaned properly each week. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Hope the pressure filter works out for you. No offence taken about PPing it, as it's the best course of action with anything new. I even PP'd the 3 Asagi's I moved from my Fry Tank to the pond today.

Great video Dave. I hope everybody's well. I run a pressure filter on my pond skimmer, going to the little bog filter, and Wow! it does take out the dirt. Mine is an Oase, but do be careful mate, the cleaning on them is not good, it does leave a lot of dirt behind. I have to take it to pieces once a week to get it cleaned properly. They work really well, but the cleaning leaves a bit to be desired. Keep up the good work mate, Terry

Interesting… hope the pressure filter performs really well… I’ve got a tempest working as a prefilter to a 4000 litre constructed upflow wetland ..and for that it’s working brilliantly … catches most of the crap and I can use the flush water from the tempest on the garden x
