Nurburgring 2016. In my Tiger Avon 2.0L Zetec. This was my first year at the ring, it was my 4th lap of the weekend. Following my son in his Mini Cooper S, fully track prepared.
Looking at Tiger kits myself, can't figure the performance benefits between the Avon and R6... the Avon has independent rear suspension listed... the R6 is 20kg lighter and 10cm shorter... go figure...
I built a tiger cat about 18 years ago which I still have,I would say sit in each and see which one feels right,you can always do performance upgrades,most don’t have spare wheels on the back nowadays but I have kept mine as it’s easier and quicker to change a flat rather than waiting for recovery especially if you are in a poor signal area.happy hunting
Saw one of these cars for the first time today on the A52 in the pouring rain - with no soft top fitted - that's pretty hardcore.
