    The cab came off super easy great video of the removal. Looking forward to seeing some of your side job videos. I just did a decent amount of excavation with mine and was surprised at how capable these Kubota’s really are! Thank you for the great videos and God Bless Brother.

      Thanks man, I too was really surprised just how easy the removal was.. if I wasn’t recording it I coulda had it off in 8 minutes prolly haha. Sounds like you were able to give it a nice little workout, these little bx’s can dig some dirt it’s so impressive given there small size, I’m glad you been getting lots of use with your bx. Stay safe!

    As always a very good explanation of how to do something. I’m hoping to have enough money to get one of these cabs for next winter.

    Great job! I would worry about a branch poking through the cab also.

      Thanks man, yah If I left it on I woulda been worried all summer long and I know it woulda hindered me from doing the type of jobs that I do all summer long.. specially when I’m doing land clearing type work out in the woods.. it did such a nice Job for me this I winter I would hate to ruin it this summer when removing it is just a 10 minute job haha. Thanks for watching man

    Good video! Glad the cab is easy to remove. I like that US general tool cart also! I am thinking about getting an orange one for the garage I keep my Kubota in for separate tractor maintenance tools and equipment.

      Thanks Jimmy, yah the cart I picked up a few months ago from harbor freight, got it dirt cheap for about $150 I couldn’t pass it up, the drawers roll better than my snap-on box at work haha. If you get one you won’t be disappointed iv got mine loaded with tools and still works perfect. Thanks for watching!

    Heyhey Mike That does not look too hard. I have not decided if I will take mine off or not. If I do I will surely record it. Nice Job. Take care my friend

      Thanks Mike, yah I hope as pleasantly surprised just how easy it was to remove, if you do take yours off I’ll def be curious to see if it’s about the same as your assembly looked very similar to how mine was. Thanks for watching!

      Hanging it or putting it in a skid is a great idea also, I love these soft cab as they are so simple to remove and yet very effective when they are on, iv got mine stored in the corner of my storage tent and it’s totally out of the way and off the ground.. should work out good for the summer time. Glad to hear you liked yours as well

    Hey Biff,Thanks for doing this video. I was thinking of getting one of these cabs but was concerned about how hard it would be to remove in the summer. Glad u decided to take the cab off and do the video. Great job. Pete

    • @BiffsEquipment
      @BiffsEquipment  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Pete, the cab really is a piece of cake to remove and install once it’s already assembled.. the actual assembly process of the Can be a bit difficult and very time consuming but I also made a video on the entire assembly of this cab to help people out.. once it’s put together it’s literally a 10-20 min Job to install or remove the cab during the spring and fall. Thanks for watching!

    Very well explained cab removal. I agree with you that it will be much easier to do the side jobs without the cab and also not to have to worry about damaging it.

    • @BiffsEquipment
      @BiffsEquipment  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Paul, yah it’s gonna be a heck of a lot easier doing the type of work I do in the summer specially being in the woods a lot, I don’t wanna have to worry about catching a huge limb on the cab or scratching it all to heck cuz I really do love the cab.. plus I’ll have much better vision and be able to do my sidework faster as well.. thanks for watching!

    Great videos Biff... Question, what is the size of your shed? i'll need one for my BX when I get it in about a month, and that looks like a good size for me.

    • @BiffsEquipment
      @BiffsEquipment  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Andrew, my shed is about a 20x18 give or take a few inches either way.. it’s not the biggest shed but big enough to get things done in it. If I didn’t have it packed with so many work benches and tools I’d have a lot more space but the more tools I stuff in there the tighter it gets for me haha. Soon I plan to extend it out about 15 feet so I can turn it into a garage. Thanks for watching!

    Looks good! Do you have any recommendations for a rock/skeleton bucket for our BX tractors? Lots of rocky soil out here in Southern California....

    • @BiffsEquipment

      Thanks buddy, as for a Rock bucket I would check out Everything Attachments I’m pretty sure they make one specially for the BX. Let me know if you end up getting one!

    Just wanted to know do you find your new heater core noisy, or its pretty quiet? Thanks mate

    • @BiffsEquipment
      @BiffsEquipment  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Allen, The full electric heater that came with the cab was pretty quite but wasn't super efficient so I got rid of it for a Heater core style heater that runs off my coolant system.. I made an install video on the new heater as well. The Heater in this video was quite noisy but not bothersome by any means.

    hi. i have a bx 2380 im looking at either buying a cab or building one i want to be able to remove it for summer. did u get a chance to try out the 12 volt heater that came with the cab. also is the soft cab worth the money. how warm does it stay in the winter . thanks sam

    • @BiffsEquipment
      @BiffsEquipment  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey buddy sorry I’m just seeing your comment now, as for the cab I chose the “Original Tractor Cab” as it’s by far in my opinion the cheapest and best cab you can buy for your money.. it’s an awesome product and keeps me out for the weather. The factory electric heater was terrible.. don’t use it, plus it puts an incredible load on your battery and alternator.. I used the electric heater for a few months before I removed it and swapped it out for a radiator style heater that works off your engine coolant. I have a few videos where I talk about it and I also have the full install video as well where I pull the electric heater out and add the radiator style heater. I’ll leave link below
