    I wrap my Kubota B21 with clear vinyl from Joan Fabric, duct tape and a plexiglass front window. Then I use a pipe cut down the middle taped to the motor side vents so warm air gently blows into the cab.

  • @wildbill23c
    @wildbill23c 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Does the Advantage cab have defrost vents? Couldn't tell in the video, just looks like the heater on the side of the cab and that's it on that model. Looks like a good fit for someone like me that really doesn't need a fancy cab but if I get a snow blower for winter use a cab is really a must, and anyone who doesn't think so is free to come run the snow blower on my lawn tractor for a few minutes. The snow that blows back off the snow blower will quickly cover you in snow/ice and you quickly become soaked. A cab for a snow blower equipped tractor is a must....and the price point on this cab is about $2k less than the premium cab and honestly isn't much on the premium cab that would make much sense in spending the extra money on. In the winter the loader is off, and snow blower would be installed, so no need for those little doors to open up to access the loader release handles, and you still need to get out of the cab to store the hydraulic coupler/lines anyways.
    The new AC system is great, but pretty dumb design, if you have to run the tractor at full throttle or thereabouts just for the AC to work, its kind of pointless, many things don't require full throttle so the AC for the cost isn't something I'd care to waste money on since it wouldn't work most of the time for a lot of tasks I'd use the tractor for. By the time you add that premium cab, the AC, and everything else you want to have on your toy, you could buy a really nice pickup truck LOL. These things are getting really pricy LOL. I want one HAHA!!!
    Can you add a cab later on, or does it need to be done during initial purchase? I'd have to save money in order to buy the cab at some point this is why I'm wondering if it would have to be dealer installed when the tractor is purchased or if I could bring the tractor in at a later date and have a cab installed? Which if it could be done later that premium cab would be nice, except the lack of the rear window being able to open on what's suppose to be a premium cab is kind of a downer....not sure why they'd not have that feature on their more expensive fancy cab.

    Does the radiator fan still pull air from the cabin into the radiator and then out or do you swap fans to take outside air and blow it in the cab?

    • @CurtisIndustriesLLC
      @CurtisIndustriesLLC 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      From our technical department: There is a cover put in place to prevent heat from being pulled out of the cab. The air is forced from under the cab and the sides of it to cool down the radiator.
