I am so glad to hear you speak about titanium! 👏🏽 I have literally been attacked in various social media comment sections about it. And even by stylists!!! I would never want to intrude on anyone's profession but I felt that it was unfair and unreasonable to not think that I might have a point. I've grown my hair out three separate times from blunt bob chin length to waist length. One of those times, I was blonde for the entire duration. Needless to say, that was tricky. 😅 And out of everything I've learned and realized over the years, titanium is THE ENEMY to length retention. That I know for a fact. I've even done sectioned off experiments with my own hair. And over time, there is a clear difference in health. Heatless methods or ceramic only!!! 🙌🏽
100%. It straightens wonderfully but should not be used on natural hair as long term use is damaging. I only use it on extensions never on natural hair ❤️
Doesn’t it! I can’t tell how stressful the loss of my hair was. I know there’s greater things to stress about but this def had me. Thanks for watching.
Your hair is always growing. If you’re alive it’s growing. Length retention is another thing. Hair breaking off at the ends will keep it from looking longer but it’s growing out of that scalp.
Love it and I truly can see the improvement in your hair! I would also love to hear more about colostrum. I’m going to look into that, my hair needs a lot of help.

@@StudioTechilo Thank you so much for replying and for the information, I’m going get a silk press this weekend and she’s going to trim me ends before I go into a sew in for the summer. Hi - I have breakage from a vitamin deficiency (discovered JUL2023). It's since been resolved, and I have also been trimming the sections that broke. My scalp and new growth are healthy, but I think if I were to straighten my hair, I'd look crazy since it's so many different lengths. My questions are 1) should I straighten for a full proper trim, 2) in your experience, how long after is long enough when recovering from breakage due to vitamin deficiencies before applying direct heat? I'm asking since you mentioned also experiencing breakage due to physiological imbalances. Thanks in advance!
It's great to hear that you've resolved the issue. Hair loss can be really stressful. I suggest straightening your hair to assess its condition and plan your haircut accordingly. Even if you revert to your regular styling afterward. The recovery time from breakage varies depending on how severe the issue was and how quickly you addressed it. Someone who fixed it in three months will have a different timeframe than someone who took two years. If you feel your hair is stronger and less fragile now, you can go ahead with straightening. Just use thicker sections and start with lower heat settings. Hope this advice helps!
I usually recommend every two weeks but the also will depend on your scalp. Some people may need to do it every week and some can actually go every three weeks but I would say on average every two weeks
I can definitely see more density around your perimeter at first I thought I was tripping. I stopped taking colostrum and don't know why😮. Iam going back with the quick😂. Thank you great job as usual❤❤❤
First of all thank you so much for this video! I can't afford to go to the salon often so this helps so much. How do you ensure that both sides are even in the back?
So happy to hear this helped you. That’s the part where I split my hair down the middle and bring it forward then trim it and make sure it’s pretty even. My hair is trimmed frequently so it’s a little easier to follow the trim pattern. Once you do that comb it back and using your mirror see if it’s even and adjust where it needs to be trimmed more

Your hair looks amazing! Would you recommend dusting my ends every 2 weeks? Trimming every 8 weeks for me usually requires an actual haircut due to the breakage in the back.
It just depends on how bad your ends are and if you want to slowly get rid of the bad ends. I recommend getting rid of the bad ends which may require a good cut and just maintaining your trims between. But there’s no right answer do what makes you comfortable.
It varies for everyone. It would depend on your texture and how often you straighten your hair. I recommend starting on a lower temp and turning up to a temp that gives you the desired results

Hi Aida, would you say the hair dryer brushes are damaging to natural hair? And, if so, are there any affordable blow dryers that you would recommend please?
@Alexandrraa it can be damaging if not done correctly and if done too often. The best and safest way is to let most of your hair dry under the dryer or air dry
My iron was set to 450. Ive been in protective styles for a while so my hair needs to be heat trained again. It will also vary on your skillset, how big your sections are that your straightening and the amount of tension/grip you're using while flat ironing. Hope this helps.
Alopecia comes in various types, each requiring specific treatment approaches. For example, managing traction alopecia involves minimizing tension-inducing hairstyles. I recommend researching a dermatologist specializing in alopecia. The sooner the better. In some cases it’s harder to reverse hair loss but easier to slow down long-term hair loss.

Please save yourself the heart ache of really damaged hair. I use titanium irons on extensions only. It makes straightening hair really easy but will fry your natural hair. Stick to ceramic irons for your hair and if you’re straightening extensions and want to save time then def use the titanium on only the extensions
I use colostrum for GI issues, but do you use the colostrum for hair growth internally or do you mix some in conditioner or something and apply to your scalp and hair ?
@@StudioTechilo thank you for responding. It do health coaching and I have known about colostrum for years but o it take a certain amount myself. I will try that though l. Thank you again.
I don’t use anything before blow drying or straightening. I find it damages the hair. If you have dry hair you can tackle that with moisturizing treatments. You have to stay consistent to see a difference
@@StudioTechilo ok I am a cosmetologist and i use the titanium plates. I flat iron hair at least once a month and have no issues. However I do understand improper use of the titanium plates.
Would clip ins or tape ins be okay if our hair is in a weak state? I had hair loss and the length is getting thicker after a good trim but my edges are still thin after goddess braids.
Clips may be a little too heavy if you’re going through that. Tape extensions may be better but stay far from your edges give them time to heal from the braids
What bran of colostrum are you taking? I’ve just had to do A big cut from almost waist length hair, now I’m at armpit 😭😩🙃. From cutting it, it’s back fuller and feels healthy! I am not sure what actually caused such great breakage. I know I’ve been stressed, but I had myself tested for anemia, Vitamins deficiency the only one that was low was my Vitamin D everything else was prefect. I’ve been using the same Products had to stop using one because i started seen a lot of shedding more like hair loss when washing and conditioning. So I took that out and it’s been a whole lot better! Any advice?

I had it on 450 this time I had braids in for a couple of months so my hair needs to be heat trained again. You saw how my mid shaft was still a little puffy even after straightening it 😂
How do you go about getting steroid shots for hair repair? I had my 2nd baby and experience postpartum shedding hair breakage and thinning around my edges also. What exact milk did you say you use for your hair? What brand did you get?
I believe she said colostrum. Definition: “Colostrum (or first milk), is the first form of milk produced by the mammary glands of humans and other mammals immediately following delivery of the newborn.”
I went to my Dermatologist for the steroid shots. They were helping in the beginning but then I ended up with dents in my scalp. It took a little over 6 months for my scalp to go back to normal. I've been taking colostrum, which is the initial form of breast milk produced by mammal mammary glands after giving birth. It's rich in nutrients and packed with antibodies. This is the brand I used tryarmra.com. I saw less hair loss immediately after starting this. For best results you should take 2 to 3 packets a day. Read the reviews on google and check out their site for all the other health benefits.
@@StudioTechilo Thank you 🙏🏽 My shedding has just now slowed down almost to a complete stop but I will still try your recommendation! How long you supposed to take it for and did you get the flavor or unflavored packs or jar? So I’m assuming you don’t recommend the steroid shots bc of the possible dents you can get?
Because of all the other health benefits I plan on taking it forever. I got my blood work done and my doctor noticed a tremendous difference for the better without knowing what I started taking. I told her what I was doing and she recommended I keep it up. I get the packets of the watermelon flavor. The packets work best for on the go for me. I hated the steroid shots. It was a temporary fix/ cover up. But consult with your doctor or dermatologist to see what’s best for you.
The are many vitamin deficiencies, that can affect hair growth, thinning, and breakage. Vitamin D (especially in the winter) Biotin B12 Iron (anemia, this can be life threatening over time. I notice many women do not take it seriously) If your iron gets too low you may need iron infusions usually given by a hematologist/oncologist, life saving blood transfusions, and the worst case scenario is a blood marrow transplant usually with a rarer form of anemia. This is for men & women. A females monthly cycle can cause anemia, but there are other serious that can cause low iron. If your doctor continually tells you that your iron is low, ask your doctor for a referral to see a hematologist. God bless whoever is reading this. If I can help one person then “mission accomplished.” Thanks for this tutorial your hair is gorgeous.
Very true. An annual check-up, including a thorough blood panel, is crucial for identifying any deficiencies or health issues. It can’t prevent a lot of things. 🩷
Protein too. If you're not getting enough protein in your diet your hair isn't going to grow. That was my problem. I literally spent years thinking my hair didn't want to grow or that it naturally grew very very slowly lol

@@StudioTechilo You are such a blessing. The passion you have to help people with the health of their hair is God sent. Thank you so much for your content.
It’s my passion, I gotta share♥️

@@StudioTechilo I’m so sorry you’re going through it too… but I’m glad you found something that works. Thanks for sharing, and taking the time to respond it really means a lot. Good luck to you on your hair journey!! ✌🏼
Thanks! Same to you love!!
Did you use the blow dryer on completely dry hair? I want to try this method of washing the night before I straighten my hair
Yes, It was mainly dry. This is really good way to avoid a lot of direct heat
@@StudioTechilo thank you so much
Are there any shears you recommend for home usage?
There are a few in amazing with good reviews and the price is very reasonable
@@StudioTechilo thank you
I need you to do my hair so bad!!! I'm from India tho

Are hair grippers good to use when hair is in its natural curly state? Or will it be like Velcro and rip out my hair?
We recommend using it on straight or blow dried hair
What’s your opinion on T3 flat irons?
Haven’t used them to give an opinion but I see a lot of stylist using the curling iron and it seems to be amazing.
I keep hearing titanium is the best flatiron, but I'm doing what she's doing!!
Please save yourself the heart ache of really damaged hair. I use titanium irons on extensions only. It makes straightening hair really easy but will fry your natural hair. Stick to ceramic irons for your hair and if you’re straightening extensions and want to save time then def use the titanium on only the extensions
Where can I find the hair grippers?

I use colostrum for GI issues, but do you use the colostrum for hair growth internally or do you mix some in conditioner or something and apply to your scalp and hair ?
Yes, internally you have to take more for the hair and skin benefits
@@StudioTechilo thank you for responding. It do health coaching and I have known about colostrum for years but o it take a certain amount myself. I will try that though l. Thank you again.
Is there a video about what caused the inflammation that lead to your alopecia?
The alopecia is caused by an auto immune issue
You are so beautiful!
Thank you
I just purchased the colostrum 🤞🏽
Come back with an update 🩷
What product do you put in your hair when blow-drying and flat ironing. I am asking because i have really dry hair, and i think heat makes it break.
I don’t use anything before blow drying or straightening. I find it damages the hair. If you have dry hair you can tackle that with moisturizing treatments. You have to stay consistent to see a difference
@@StudioTechilo Thank you.
Are you ethiopian?
Yes ♥️
I used titanium plates and have no issues
I am intrigued. Why?
It maybe ok for using once in a while but continuously using it on a regular basis will end up giving heat damage to most people
@@StudioTechilo ok I am a cosmetologist and i use the titanium plates. I flat iron hair at least once a month and have no issues. However I do understand improper use of the titanium plates.
Where did you get your blow dryer pls ?

Would clip ins or tape ins be okay if our hair is in a weak state? I had hair loss and the length is getting thicker after a good trim but my edges are still thin after goddess braids.
Clips may be a little too heavy if you’re going through that. Tape extensions may be better but stay far from your edges give them time to heal from the braids
Can you kindly share the blowdryer you used? Thank you. #newsubscriber 😊

Where can we get the share your using
The shears I use are by chi. If your not a stylist who will get a lot of use out of it I wouldn’t recommend it as the price is not reasonable 😫
Ok, thank you
What bran of colostrum are you taking? I’ve just had to do A big cut from almost waist length hair, now I’m at armpit 😭😩🙃. From cutting it, it’s back fuller and feels healthy! I am not sure what actually caused such great breakage. I know I’ve been stressed, but I had myself tested for anemia, Vitamins deficiency the only one that was low was my Vitamin D everything else was prefect. I’ve been using the same Products had to stop using one because i started seen a lot of shedding more like hair loss when washing and conditioning. So I took that out and it’s been a whole lot better! Any advice?
My only advise is to consult with your PCP or dermatologist so you can get a handle on it sooner than later. The colostrum I use is ARMRA
What heat protectant do u use?
I don't use heat protectant. My hair stays healthier without it.

What kind of colostrum do you use? Your hair looks amazing!🥰
tryarmra.com
@@StudioTechilo thank you!
What temperature was the flat iron on?
@@roselikethewine she mentioned steroid shots first then I think she discontinued it then started the colostrum 😊

Vitamin D (especially in the winter)
Biotin
B12
Iron (anemia, this can be life threatening over time.
If I can help one person then “mission accomplished.”
Thanks for this tutorial your hair is gorgeous.
