Wow! Who knew there is actually someone that can properly cut layers in long straight hair. I haven't found anyone who could do that correctly for years.
I have no idea why your video came up in my feed, but I watched the entire video. You are such a great teacher. Your explanation is so detailed. Fantastic job!
I did hairdressing when I was 17 but then went on to become an accountant and really only knew the minimum about cutting. I am so determined to be able to cut my own hair and I’ve been growing it for what seems like years but keep mucking it up. I’ve learned so much from your channel and really understand how to cut hair now 😂 Not only am I cutting my own hair and knowing what I want and how to do it, I reckon I could cut other peoples hair 😂 You are such a good hairdresser and teacher!!! I so wish I’d carried on with my hairdressing ❤
At first, I really couldn't see the character in the hair with the long layers, but OMG that blow dry did some magic!!!! I loved the shape of it and the "swoopyness" you got with all the layers. So beautiful. My hair is pretty dense but it's curly so I have to have lots of layers. BUT if it was straight I would DEFINITELY have some long layers put in it like that.
@Styles By Summer....this the EXACT cut I've been BEGGING for. Ur mannequins hair is a mirror image image of mine. I love how u syled is. Is there another video showing the full styling? ❤love ur content
Hi Summer I am in the process of growing out my bangs ..this is driving me insane but Im getting there (I think) but this is the style im aiming for but have some way to go to get to shoulder length. Looking to get the layers with length. thank you for showing us this
Great tutorial !! Ive learned so much watching your videos, as ive cut my own hair for years after getting so many cuts that weren't what i wanted. Where are you located ?? Im sure many want to know !!!❤
I wish I had an instructor like you when I was at Phagan’s! Mrs. Sharon would get so frustrated with us she would just scream. I graduated with my 1800 hours but was too terrified to ever get a job. I still have my license so I can buy good shampoo for a discount. I really need you to cut my hair.
Hi Summer, I watched lots of your videos and all your later hair cut are amazing ! I want to cut my topper with layers, just wondering if you have a salon that i can send in my topper to have it cut? Thanks so much
@@carolynrobers1621 it depends on who does it and their techniques. Mine has always been better blunt cut or it's too thin on the bottom and looks like the models hair before she started. Not good.
Such a beautiful job, thank you! Could you do a tutorial showing how to get the initial mannequin hair style? (Thinned out layers with more wispy ends) thanks so much!! ❤
Summer love your style, where can I set up an appointment for a cut ? I’ll be in Florida in January. Not sure what part of Florida, but you’re worth the ride thanks
Thanks for the video Summer! Could you do a tutorial showing how to get the original mannequin hair style (v shape with thinned out layers/whispy ends)…thank you Summer!❤
I love how you cut hair. You did a perfect job. So many times I have gone to hairdressers and asked for an inch cut off the back, cut blunt only and they thin the heck out of it. I wish you were in my area.
I wish you lived around my area that's the cut I like for my hair and I need one bad but can't seem to find someone to cut it right so it's down to my waist right now😮
Where are you located? I would come to you for my cuts. I live in Chicago and have found after 12 stylists no one understands this graduated process. I used to have in done in LA. where there was more layer trend blended.
Last time i went to the hairdressers she said no to layering my hair it will look too thin she says, ive been having layers for 25 years never looked thin, lost my old hairdresser so need to cut my own hair 😢
I cut my friends hair whose hair is very thin with layers and she is very happy. Also, I have noticed her hair thicker with the remedies that I've advised her to use. Hair mask once a month with Biotin and Jamaican Castor oil 100 % in glass bottle 3 x a week. I also made her a rose hip water out of real pedals and put it in a spray bottle so she could spritz her hair on days she doesn't do the C.O. God bless hope all works out for you. 🌹
A real model would obviously be great, I've done a few videos with live models and none have performed well, sadly. Wanted them to do better, but as a whole it didn't seem like something viewers were wanting.
Yes the whole point of the video is teaching which requires talking to explain what she's doing. I'm not a hairdresser but I struggle getting my hair layered because they always do too many layers in the back leaving me with the exact problem she's talking about...the thin see thru stuff at the bottom. So I greatly appreciate this video and the explanation, cause I'm obviously not explaining it right to the stylists. Maybe I'll send them this video, Lol.

This is just the cut i have been wanting. Love it! I see my hairdresser Tuesday . Just not sure how to describe this to her.
Just pull up the video when your in the chair! Obviously can't play it all lol but her seeing the before and after will help!

It's all in the blow dry! When I was fluffing it for broll I was like oooooooo this is the shot!!
Hi Summer. I love the fullness and all the shape and movement! Beautiful transformation 👌.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it!
😊😮❤@@StylesBySummer
Wish I had you in school as my educator! ✨ this video was super helpful
So glad I could help!

I now hold the front section of my hair while getting hair cut. For some reason they always cut face framing even when I want mine to grow out.
Gorgeous..🥰 great year of watching your videos.. thanks.
Have a great Christmas...🎄♥️
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!!! Can you please do a video (if you haven't already) on HOW to blow dry it?🙏

Great video do you have one for the blow dry style you did, styling like this makes the haircut stand out so nice.

Summer, I wish u wud hav shown this cut in a ponytail as well @ the end. I love the cut but I really want to see how it falls in a ponytail too?!
Hi Summer could you tell me the light weight hair dryer at low price good one please?
It's a good one or a low price
Well done! I love the weight that's been left and the layers are so subtle.☮️🇬🇧
Summer thank you for education- it always helps!!😊❤
I'm so glad!
Thank you so much!!! Very beautiful haircut!!! ❤
Glad you like it!
Please do this exact tutorial on yourself because I want to do this on myself
Love this cut 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Nathan!
Perfect, thank you ❤
You're very welcome!
Great job as always, Summer!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
This is a great cut!
Thanks!
Looks great. Could you show how to do that haircut on a haircut that's just for the shoulders

Thank you for being verbal in your instructions
Point cutting will guarantee ends to grow back straggly. Blunt cutting the ends will give you most volume. Cutting hair over 30 yrs.
Short point cutting has never caused my hair ends to be...straggly...

Please do one for curly hair ❤️

How sweet of you! I'm actually not taking on new clients at the moment. My schedule is full that time wise I can't handle more at the moment!
Where in Florida are you located at
@@StylesBySummer ugh 😩 omg I’d be coming all the way from California… winter snow bird. 🥲
My hair is vey thick and is about 6 inches from my knees. Can this cut work for hair that long?
I need that Manequin stand
Temu has them for a decent price
What color is her hair. Very pretty
I actually color and highlight every mannequin before filming! I'd describe this as a neutral warm blonde with highlights!
@StylesbySummer that is amazing that u do the coloring b4 the tutorial vid. Luv the color u did on the mannequin & the hi-lites are very subtle
I like your hair style Would you be able to do a video to show us how you do this look on yourself 🌸

Can you recommend a stylist in Maryland that can recreate this exact cut?
Bello! Lo voy a ponder en practica
I love ur way of cutting ✂️✂️ from Pakistan ❤❤❤
Could you show us how to do this cut to ourselves?

Thanks your videos i learn many things to you
Smaller sub sections will give you more movement and more even

Ah , I can’t do this at home 😩 can you show us something we can do at home ? Something easy 😏
Nice hair cut
What is your hair color?
Are you doing your tutorials on human hair or synthetic❓I am wondering if I can try to modify my wigs❓
All the mannequins are human hair. Some brands will still mix in some fake hair here and there.
If only i lived near you ,i would get you to do my hair
Very beautiful cut❤Love these tutorials. My only with is that it would be a real person not a mannequin.
A real model would obviously be great, I've done a few videos with live models and none have performed well, sadly. Wanted them to do better, but as a whole it didn't seem like something viewers were wanting.
I die if she cut all that in the front 😮The left side was fine and looked good. Yikes!
Thought you were Drew Barrymore 😊
Can a man be a hair stylish and merry Christmas
Most of the top stylists in the world....men.
I want that blowout!!!!
Way too much talking just cut the hair and we'll watch
She's explaining what she does to achieve the look !!! Turn your volume off instead of being rude !!!
Please be nice.
Exactly!! Got tired of watching
@@glorialevings3114 well then turn it off then !!! Never seen such a nasty spirit in people...good grief.
