Excellent video. I just bought a 2240. Terrible trigger especially when compared to my crosman silhouette 1701p. I polished sear slightly and used the nylon washers you suggested. But what really helped was changing out the spring. My wife had bought cheap small hand pruning shears from a dollar store. I took the spring from one of the shears and put it in the pistol. The spring is the same length but with smaller wire. My trigger pull is now very light and works as well as my 1701p. Thanks for info

@johnhourcade7479 thank you - that little piece of knowledge about the spring type is quite handy

you can use a 22 rimfire used case where the white plastic upgrade you have installed use a ball pen spring inside it works a treat

A maurader pistol trigger and housing swap would be the best. You could up grade the sear to the currect size and add some set screw to adjust parts and a empty 22 she'll under sear are some other mods 👍👌✌️💯

Here is the company I got it from.:
      mountainaircustomairguns.com/
They have a number of cool parts. I intend to add one of their PCP lowers to this pistol before I am done with it.
      Thanks for the comment.

Can you cut the top portion of the trigger off on this model?I feel it’s too confined, or tight around the finger. Great video sir, thanks for the help!

      Yes, absolutely

Dont over do it, the top part acts as a trigger stop. It could make the trigger flop forwards too far.

I believe there is an old Airgun Nirvana TH-cam video covering this mod.

You put one nylon washer on the left side of the trigger post, and the other nylon washer on the right side of the sear post. Was this correct or an error? Very good video and audio.

Yes, that's how I did it and it seemed to balance out well on this pistol.

That goes in with the spring when you assemble the grip body to the valve tube

I think he meant ball detent in the safety. It’s really easy to lose those.
