Got mine with 22 inch barrel. 7 inch moderator. Trigger job. Valve internal volume increased. Shimmed hammer spring 15mm's. 658fps. Super tight group. Thanks for the video. I used it to familiarize myself at the beginning of the journey.
Truly a beautiful build ,, I can appreciate the stainless tube unstamped it looks so clean , Im currently building something similar Gmac seems to have a very low inventory right now , I check regularly for the parts I want to come into stock , Im a nut for brass so I commonly check the site . I found an unstamped stainless tube from Aliance Hobby, I have a longer barrel that's been polished and a muzzle flip from Gmac , Im taking inspiration from your build and by the way thanks for showing how to put the safety back for me it was the most valuable part or your tutorial. Great work , Much respect 🙏
According to Crosman 2240 schematic diagrams the short end of the transfer port goes to the O-ring and the long end goes to the barrel. I guess it could work either way.
Love my little ratty mate. Have you had problems loading pellets into the breach, past the stupid little hex screw? You can buy new washers that eliminate that problem, just in case a multishot mag etc is next on the Christmas list 👍
The power adjuster is a generic one from eBay. They all follow a similar format. Just be careful with the crosman retaining screws, they may need cutting down. It’s worth doing a dry fit first. Strip the power adjuster, install the adjuster body into the tube, screw in the top and bottom screws and components then look down the main tube to see if the screws travel into the space that the power adjusted screw would occupy. Cut down if necessary, I use a Dremel as this leaves a cleaner cut than using a hacksaw. Good luck, happy shooting
Not that I have found, in the UK we are limited to 6ft/lb. If you go above this the air gun is classed as a section 1 firearm…. Not my rules, just politicians doing their bit to keep the public safe. Anyway, enough of my rambling about our daft UK laws. You can lower the power and extend the number of shots from the powerlet, that’s the only real advantage.
Brass breeches are rare these days but in my opinion they are the best for looks and weight . There are a couple of Chinese manufacturers making these now , I've bought 6 now over the last 2 years and only one came drilled improperly, the refunded my money and let me keep the poorly machined breech , I thought I might be able to drill it myself and fix the bad machining but I wasn't able to fix it , anyway , I had good experience even with the 1 bad breech . Buying off eBay from the American seller is an option but they are currently going for near 90 dollars American. Amazon also occasionally has them also from the Chinese manufacturer .
so you're a left-handed shooter, so what?, it is said that left-handed people are more intelligent than right-handed people, and maybe that is why you made a great video, and me being a right-handed shooter learned a lot from watching it, thank you
I am an American and I just cringe whenever the thought of your gun laws cross my mind. You guys across the pond have to be bothered by laws that restrict the power of an air gun and are forced to comply. I have 2 “2240” pistols and heavily modded both of them. My mods were about power and accuracy though. One of them has a Chinese aluminum breach with a black bolt and 10inch barrel. I just search through ebay looking for parts that aren’t being sold by thieves who charge fifteen or twenty dollars plus FIVE dollars shipping for a single tiny breach screw. It just sickens me how those robbers have us by the ‘nads because that screw isn’t a standard hardware store item. We keep on our toes over here about gun rights because we don’t want to give the lawmakers an inch because they would just as soon to take them away and leave us stuck with under powered airguns. I was wondering how they could tell if you upped the power on your guns. I have a comedian mind and visualize a knock at the door with a yell from outside which proclaims; “Open up, it’s the airgun power police and we’ve come to measure your gun’s power!” “He’s taking too much time Eddy, bash the door before he hides the evidence of his crime!” You guys put up with a lot of crap over there. God bless you for taking it so well. Life should be fun. Those days are getting shorter and shorter though. I like that brass breach you have on there. I haven’t seen one before now. I can only imagine what that costs with my past experiences buying parts from the thieves on ebay . Take care.

There’s the neighbors house on the other side of the target well done mate. Sure is a quiet neighborhood. 👍

Looks really sharp with that brass breech

I got mine long end down. It sits tighter like than when reassembling. Holds it in place.
Fyi that small grub screw under the bolt is a .050 allen.
The MOST ham fisted gun breakdown/assembly ever 😂😂😂
Damn that is sweet ! Your a good shot also !
Great Job. It would look Sharp with a 10 inch Polished Barrel also.
I think you could be right, I have seen some 'stubby' barrels and they look cool too.
I've heard lots of different opinions, do the power adjuster actually work & what is it really for?
Looks a nice job. Shame there ain't no upgrades to make it a multi-shot or are there?
@Renegadebroadcasting Renegadebroadcasting Thanks.
The site he linked has them but they appear to be out of stock

Thank you !!! Helped me on my upgrades. Can you tell me what power adjustor you purchased ?

Nice nice mate! I like this video. But where the safety glasses?..
Why no barrel band?
How can I get the rear sight??
Does the power adjuster makes the gin more powerful
