Appreciate informative channels like this. Have been learning a lot, thank you so much
Great video, thanks man.
I’ve found the front squats really challenge my extensors the most.
You mentioned that pulls/ chins hit the mid back hard, while the low traps don't get enough love. Don't vertical pulls hit the lower traps harder than the mid traps since depression of the blades is performed, more than retraction?
Very hard to differentiate, maybe you have a point, especially for the lift off phase.
It's good you didn't mention the shrug for the upper traps, since it's not an upper trap exercise.
It is the moment you also pull the blades not only up but back. So depending on the execution shrugs are perfectly fine 👍🏻
What do you mean? What do shrugs train?
Your levator scapulae. But as I said, the moment you pull the shoulder up and back traps and rhomboids will be active 💪🏻
It’s not true look at Alex Leonidas power shrugs it’s about weighted stretch for the upper traps. Do them with high weight and your traps will blow up
@ I never said it's not traps at all, I said it's not upper traps. Mostly mid and lower traps.
Should I switch wide grip pullup to chinup from workout to workout or every block? Hypertrophy is my goal. Thanks in advance💪
Both will do the job, but probably having both in the program is better
