      Samsung's latest iteration of "the idiot consumer will buy whatever we put out" certainly deserves one.
      Everything about this phone seems cheap. From the tacky backing, the rectangular brick like design, to the complete lack of accessories that come with the phone. The phone feels like it should be priced at $300-400 at most.
      I'll compare this to the S20. Which wasn't particularly great, but is better than this phone.
      S20 feels more premium, is thinner, and looks better. Oh yeah, and it also has 12gb of ram, compared to the 8gb this phone has. For the most part, the phones are very similar performance wise (the s21 has a faster processor, but you really don't notice it in day to day use)
      Both phone have relatively poor battery life.

    It's been a week since I bought S21 Ultra (Exynos) and its amazing, there are no overheating, performance or battery issues. For the cameras I'm really satisfied it's only when I watch Snapdragon vs Exynos camera comparison videos I notice the difference which is very small.

      @jianglanzi 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@elvindiaz5208 exactly. I got the Ultra (Exynos), within 2 days of using, I already decided to get rid of it, overnight idle will drop the battery from 100 to 80. This is ridiculous. Normal using(not even play games), the upper half of the phone start to heat up like crazy.
      All other specs are great. But the overheat is a 100% veto for me.

    • @afstar101
      @afstar101 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jianglanzi It a very old problem which Samsung doesn't fix. All the Exynos phones have stupid standby drain exactly how you mentioned. It always drops to around 80s from 100 overnight. It's a shame paying the same amount yet having an inferior experience of the same phone.

    Exynos user here. Heating issues non existing since May and performance is majestic . In the last couple of months Samsung dedicated the updates solely to those problems. I bought mine 3 months after launch and never experienced any heating issues but know some that bought it at launch and yes had some heating problems. SD heats considerably still according to some youtubers. Battery is incredible giving 6.5 screen on time. Happy with 2100, a true beast and yes , Samsung nailed it with this phone.

    Agreed.
    After using the OnePlus 9 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max TOGETHER with this one (I use 3 different SIM Cards) I ended up moving my primary SIM to the 21 Ultra. The iPhone lost because of the horrible notch and being too wide in format, and the 9 Pro lost because of the battery not living up to the other two, despite being the best ergonomically hands down. So, when we forgive the excessive weight and size... we are left with this winner. Please note that mine is an Exynos.

    1)No headphone jack
    2)only 512gb...Really?Then 8k is a joke with no expandable memory
    3)Exynos chip for that high cost??
    Apple chips r worth buying...(long life )
    4)wobble issue !? Because of camera module..
    5)and bro such heavy phone with glass back ...Then why don't u a better carry a DSLR😂
    6)S pen u have to buy it separately and charge it separately and carry or buy a SPL case for it....
    Actually Samsung are only excellent for their screens and it goes on getting better on every phone..

It landed on a corner, which I suppose should technically be one of the best areas for the case to properly absorb. However, the screen is now cracked over the entire screen from the corner. I since got rid of the screen protector and bought a Huawei original case, and have had no further issues.

    • @hugoc4606
      @hugoc4606 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not a camera engineer but it's a decision on which type of photography you want :
      - or you optimize the shutter lag for mooving cases
      - or you increase the quantity of data you take in a picture to make it as good as possible (pixel numbers for binning, sensor exposure, multiple pictures for hdr etc....).
      I supposed that the limitation comes from the usage of an advandced big sensor against the embedded processor of the camera. With a advanced sensor, it's hard to reduce the shutter lag. The shutter lag was as the iphone back on the s9 for exemple.
      In my opinion the best would be a quick press to take à short/mooving instant, and a longer press to take a better picture with an acceptable lag.

    There is no doubt this is an amazing phone, but I can see like me, you’re a Mac user. What I would want to know is 1) how does breaking the ecosystem for an S21U impact daily use and 2) why should a 12 Pro Max user break the eco system to swap to this phone?

    I always put a case/cover on my phone. As well a screen protector. I dropped my phone (s21) at work, and cracked my screen protector. It's glass. But I think my screen is ok. I used to raise livestock. So I always kept my phone in a cover/case. Raising animals I could never keep my phone in my pocket. My first couple of phones used to come with belt clips! Nowadays I keep phone in a case tucked in a pouch. I'm 61, now I really look like an old man! 😆
    But, I'm really looking into the s21 Ultra.

      You can buy a micro SD adaptor and make your own USB-C micro SD pin and you are able to play videomaterial and music straight from the USB-C pin on the phone.
      If you are using the camera in pro mode, you can make the shutter speed to 1/12000 of a second but you will get grainy pictures if you need to dial up the ISO to example ISO 3200

    The Exynos version is ok now. Samsung knowing of their Exynos-mistake have put out various updates that hides the phone's problems to the new user. For instance just slowing down the phone to not overheat. And it works just fine as the phone is pretty fast to begin with, so a new user won't notice. Only buff remaining is nighttime selfie VIDEO, that's still pretty grainy.
