While using 3x we need to move further away from the subject ....so in that regards i think a clean background sepration will be 50 -50 chance or even not possible...so may be samsung would have decided not use it ..just my thoughts
@@Nadheem721 possible but I doubt it, the did it using s10 plus 2x optical zoom. Apple do it with 2.5x zoom. I'm sure they could do it with 3x. My guess is it may be due to the optical zoom not being fast enough to provide consistent results in variety of lighting conditions. Or it could be they just lazy

Saf get Samsung to fix the portraiture. They should use the natural 3x zoom like they did in the s10 plus(albeit s10 had 2x optical zoom). The distortion and perspective is unflattering. Great reviews, keep it up

@@mariac462010 I am a current Note8 (and former Note5) user, planning to upgrade to the S21 Ultra. I would have loved to see the Note21 be released but it's not looking like that will happen. While I don't use the S pen as much as I used to, I've always enjoyed having it stored inside the phone to have on hand when I need it. For me, the biggest drawback in the S21 Ultra is the inability to store the S pen inside of the phone. Without that feature, I am left with either getting a wider case to hold the S pen, or just keep it somewhere else, which may not be that big of a deal since I don't use it very often. Having been a previous Note owner, do you find the lack of an S pen storage compartment inside the phone to be much of an inconvenience?

I just use the phone as a normal phone. I never even bought an external S pen. I do love this S21 ultra. It has a lot of great features I have not even used yet. The camera is amazing. I love all the extra storage.

I just made the switch from iPhone to the Samsung s21 ultra aaaaaaaaand.... I love it, I don’t think I’m ever going back. And it was very easy to make the switch! Got almost all of my things from my iPhone ransfered very easily with the smart switch feature
I had such a hard time deciding if I should get this phone or not until Samsung ran a bundle deal. They were going to give me $100 more for my XR than Apple. I also got the Galaxy watch for $60 and the buds pro for $80. I saved around $600. It was an offer I could not pass up. It will be a few weeks since I ordered it in Titanium. Thank you for all your fantastic videos. I really appreciate all the hard work you put into them. It shows.
@SuperSaf My UK exynos s21u has just been updated - portrait mode on the zoom camera. So much improved - white balance is much improved compared to the cropped portrait mode.

Just had my Exynos S21 ultra Mohamed and even after the 1Gb camera based February software update the 4k 60fps video is quite poor and noisy in some indoor low light conditions but the optical stabilization is brilliant expect on the 10x optical lense where it just is not working ( in video mode only). The dynamic range is very good though. Photos on the other hand are superb in all cameras. I hope software updates can get the camera fulfilling it's massive video potential. 👍

Huawei has issues, and their flagships cost same as samsung, and they fix them with updates. Xiaomi cost just slightly less,and they got issues too. OnePlus got issues. IPhone got issues, they releasing updates every other time to fix issues, and bring other problems instead. All of them are 1k flagship phones. If you follow tech world, that shouldn't be surprising you anymore, as it's a common thing.🤷♂️ Phones are getting more and more complicated. And the more complicated the system is - the higher probability of fuck up. Nowadays flagships are not what they used to be 10 years ago you know. That's what updates are for - to fix possible issues and improve in lacking areas.

I'm just over 1 month in using this Snapdragon version 512gb. Have to say, it seems to be learning and getting better with time. Battery life has improved for sure. I use adaptive (120hz) and WQHD+ and am getting 10hrs SOT. This device is great. Exceeded my expectations. If there is 1 negative about it, it would only be the weight. I feel it's a little hefty and still not used to it coming from my S10e. Overall, I rate this very high. Of all the new phones I've purchased throughout the decades, by far this is my best experience. Second to this is when I bought the Galaxy S5 Active in 2014 (that's when I made the switch from being an iPhone user). 👍🏽👍🏽

I've had my S21 Ultra for 3 weeks now and I'm super satisfied. The possibilities that the camera offers are really great. Coming from the S20 this is a huge upgrade. I love the 3x zoom. I've always managed at least 3 days on one charge so far. Yes, during the day when I earn my bread, I can not use a distraction by a smartphone. Let's see how it looks on vacation. That's when I become an intensive user. Software: 4 updates in 3 weeks. Samsung is working on optimization at high speed.

There is a big sharpening difference on the main camera between the two. Its very noticeable on the fence of the bridge, the water and the trees on the right on the first picture, the sharpness of the trees behind the tesla and the road also and on the floor of the very low light photo of the house. That's also the reason why there is so much noise in the extreme zoom shots.
The S21 Ultra Exynos is a worthy flagship with maybe the best design in 2021. You should do an updated camera review with the latest European firmware update, for it dramatically improved image quality!

@@jenniferstewart1330 No, all options are available in USA 128,256 and 512 options and also you are too lucky to get the Snapdragon 888 variant instead of the Exynos 2100 variant. But in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 my country 256GB Exynos 2100 option is the only one to get.

I've had my S21 Ultra for 3 weeks now and I'm super satisfied. The possibilities that the camera offers are really great. Coming from the S20 this is a huge upgrade. I love the 3x zoom. I've always managed at least 3 days on one charge so far. Yes, during the day when I earn my bread, I can not use a distraction by a smartphone. Let's see how it looks on vacation. That's when I become an intensive user.
Software: 4 updates in 3 weeks. Samsung is working on optimization at high speed.

There is a big sharpening difference on the main camera between the two. Its very noticeable on the fence of the bridge, the water and the trees on the right on the first picture, the sharpness of the trees behind the tesla and the road also and on the floor of the very low light photo of the house. That's also the reason why there is so much noise in the extreme zoom shots.

The S21 Ultra Exynos is a worthy flagship with maybe the best design in 2021. You should do an updated camera review with the latest European firmware update, for it dramatically improved image quality!
