Except if you're in a big city, all the gyms are insanely competitive while if you're in a less populated area, the competition is probably correlative to the specific population density. You're not really at a disadvantage relative to your locale

I love that you went to a golf course. I've been following the findings on Silph Road before I started watching your videos. Here in the Hampton Roads area where I've been going to investigate these reported nests and hot spots I feel like there is at least a certain percent chance that a park or golf course will yield a nest. I'd love for more people to go out and test this, report their findings and such. There's a golf course a couple blocks away from me that I've been wanting to figure out how to get on without disrespecting the golfers or the course since I don't play golf, always seems like there are pokemon listed in the sightings that are not on the neighborhood streets that I joke must be on the golf course. I almost wish there was a pokemon go caddy program or some special where I could pay say $5-$10 bucks to have a safety hat and golf cart rental for hunting pokemon on golf courses. I also like that you use the word habitat, that's a concept I haven't heard anyone else use and is probably another grounds of research that would benefit Pokemon Go players.
The rustling grass are spawn points. They are points that are more likely to spawn Pokemon. Each tuff of grass isn't guaranteed to spawn Pokemon, but they're more likely. We got this information from data mining.

lol, you can clearly hit a ball, so you know walking around a course with only your driver isn't much of a disguise. ;-) Also, as someone who grew up in New Orleans, I can tell you that Armstrong Park is not a safe area (or at least it wasn't when I was there, it's been a few years). We used to loose a couple tourists there every year. The locals know this of course, but the point is if you're visiting an area on vacation, make sure you know the neighborhoods before you go hunting... ask someone working at the hotel, or whoever you're staying with. B)Go to my town square(its like a lil version of times square), so theres 6 pokestops in the 1 block square, so should I put the lucky egg on and throw an insense on in there and just keep hitting all the stops , and catch pokemon or C), wait until I have 3 eggs to hatch all at once, and a bunch of candies. Then head to the square, put down an incense, lucky egg, and a module, and just start evolving, letting eggs hatch, catching pokemon, and hitting the pokestops? I'm on vacation in Canada right now, and I'd say whatever city I'm in (I think it's Toronto) is a Drowzee nest.
drowzee on the rarity list is very common, so don't be surprised to find them anywhere in the world
