Fun tip. My local Walmart has their school supplies out. They have this small, round, hard shell case (labeled for earbuds) that is the perfect size for the Pokémon plus +. It was only about $2-$3. It still vibrates loud but it the case definitely helps tone it down, plus there’s no rave light going off in your pocket or blinding you in the car at night.

It's crazy to know that before Pokemon Go he was doing the whole 'van life' thing and had to stop when his van broke down and he couldn't afford to fix and now he's traveled to Japan 7 times all possible because of his youtube channel about Pokemon Go.
Is anyone else experiencing not being able to make routes or explore other peoples routes? I just hope the feature gets released soon for me

I highly recommend doing a deep dive into his older videos too. The videos have changed a little over the years, but they’ve always been great 👌🏻
you mentioned the keckleon, but the go++ and other autocatchers also won't see the daily guaranteed spawn, as you can see in your video. it also won't see spawns from snapshots (smeargle etc). probably also important to note that you can turn off either stops or spawns from altering the device. turning of spawn detection allows you to fill your item bag quickly and not have to worry about spinning every stop, which is great for times where you need items more than spawns or when you're in an event and you want to ocus on catching rathe than spinning. turning off gym/stops can be healpful if you're trying to avoid spoinning gyms while you ahve an empty egg slot.
I've been watching for a minute and I noticed this one was a lil different I believe this was due to there being less catching and raid action. I really enjoyed your transition videos and description of each place. You seems so respectful when you go to new places which I also appreciate.
One thing that would be a nice quality of life would be to have a summary of what was caught (and maybe not caught) as well as items obtained while using the GO Plus+ like what is done for the daily incense.

I have caught around 3 shinies using the go plus+! you can use the journal to see which pokémon have ran away and even see potential shinies that ran away too.

Dude i went to the mall and saw like people unboxing this and setting it up. Felt refreshing to see for Pokemon :)
I played PkGo in Tokyo back in April and compared to when I played in Tokyo in 2018, the spawns were about half as high as I remembered. One of the factors that pushed the spawns down was that people would lure up Pokestops at random back in 2018, and folks tend to save those lures for events now. Still the best place to play, though. Can't wait to go back.
One issue with PoGo and travelling is that it only records your last 1000 gyms. I would like a "unique gyms" medal.
The garden is Shinjuku Gyoen - the reference to Shinjuku Gyoen Mae is one of the subway stops nearby. Still, the gardens are a great place for pokemon and stops.
I'm so glad you're still doing this series. You're one of my role models and I'm glad you have a lot of fun with this game
I use the gotcha evolve and have it constantly running when I'm out at work. By higher catching it increases your shiny ratio. most average 1:500.

I’ve never found a good use for a shirt pocket until now lol
The Pokemon Go Plus + does a have a silent feature if you hold down the middle and the top/outside button together it will make a sound telling you that it has gone into silent mode. If you want it out of silent mode than do the same, push the middle button and top/outside button together and it should vibrate and make a sound.

I think Zaragoza, Spain, is the number one spot. It has this very insane cluster, 32 stops on your screen from helicopter/top view. All of them, always have lures on it, 24/7. And many more in the rest of the Zaragoza. And buy some item bag capacity. I'm on 5300 (max), and still its too low. And I get 5 shinies a day by auto-catch (normal balls) with the plus +.
There's another place with lots of PokéStops and maybe it even has more than Zaragoza, Spain.

@@quchi7232 Yes, it has a lot of stops there too. The only downside is that they don't have 24/7 lures on it, and many of them are merged into each other which is kinda hard to tab them all.
I get a ton of max potions and revives from opening gifts.
I would love to do a trip like this some day. Looking forward to seeing you make a route and the possibility of maybe checking out all the sites you recommend if I ever make it.

You don’t need to touch the ++ once it’s been connected, Chuck it in your bag and then you can just tap on your game icon and it’ll reconnect.

A really iconic place to play pokemon go is the pokemon plaza in shinjuku around a yodobashi camera that has like10000 benches
I’m curious about using great and ultra balls… do the catch rates actually have an impact? I haven’t really seen a difference in catch rates.

It's great for everyone!
If you live in an area with a ton of stops, the go plus+ will be a good investment. You’ll probably get 50k+ stardust a day as a casual player, and if you walk a lot 100k+.
I live on a university campus and walking to my classes has gotten me hundreds of thousands of stardust a week and a couple shinies here and there.
It's been awful for Pokémon Sleep, but great in Pokémon Go.
He really transferred all those Yungoos with out checking for 4*’s 😮

there’s a pokémon very similar to ditto, it’s called Zorua, and sometimes it disguises itself as your buddy pokemon on the map, and his buddy pokemon is a shiny heracross, so a zorua was just disguised as it, and if he caught it, it’d turn into a zorua, just as something like a pidgey could turn into a ditto

I know great/ultra balls can't use the auto catch function, but like with the original pokeball+ can we secure the button down say with the strap and have it "auto" catch that way? Or did they manage to stop that work around with the new device.

You should go to the sky tree area. There is a pokemon shop there and lots of poke stops too.

How did he select all Pokemon? 9:30 the ++ is amazing if you want to lvl up another account. Just make sure you have enough bag space for items and Pokemon.

I have actually caught two shiny from the go plus plus for not playing.
is poke ++ the new recommended autospinner or is duomon still a better choice? debating which to get. Tried the poke++ but noticed a lot of missed catches. Seems better than nothing for spinning stops and grabbing pokemon when busy.
i was gonna pick up the ++ but i went with the duomon about a week ago, the vibration and lights on the ++ are definitely the biggest cons and i doubt ill be pressing the button often enough in public unless its in my pocket, dont really wanna be walking around with a loud flashing pokeball in my hand, the duomon is much more discreet so i bought it over the ++

I did try out the ++ in a class, and it does get loud with vibration if It was against a hard object to make noise. Device needs to vlbe in a pocket kinda to hide the light and still shines through a little. Other than that, the light is good for late night walks being visible and kinda a pokemon go beacon, so meeting others will be easier if you are into that kinda thing. There are slight connectivity issues with needing to double check every half hour or so. the press button is only necessary to use the great and ultra balls, but I don't know yet with the flee rate. I have the duomon coming in tonight to use against the ++. Not sure about longevity with the duomon breaking easily if dropped. dual phoning seems interesting. Any experience with that?

Do you have to run the app in the background or „use“ the app in your pocket to be able that the go plus plus will work? Or can you lock your phone and the go plus plus will work too?
I've been using it at work for 2-4hrs, going through 2-400 balls, and got a shiny per day! I've NEVER bought pokeballs and made fun of my friends who did since day 1...but my route for work has 1 pokestop so imma have to waste allot of money
