Oh my gosh, Emile’s come back. Even if he’s still taking a long hiatus, I’m so glad to see him again at the very least, and to see him laugh and react while watching this. Keep staying strong, man. We missed you. And thanks, Tim, for being a supportive friend to him.

You’ve been a part of my life ever since I stumbled across your Let’s Play of Super Luigi Galaxy. I was very young at the time, but I enjoyed hearing your crispy voice. I watched it over and over again, even when the annotations stopped working. When I heard of the allegations made against you, my heart froze. My initial reaction when I read it was, “I don’t believe that.” I knew you too well. It just didn’t make sense for you of all people to do something like that, or at least with any ill will. I’m not doing the best mentally, haven’t been for years. I used to go to your channel or TRG every time I needed a pick-me-up, and I think all these people in this comment section did too. After the allegations, I was heartbroken; my favourite TH-cam channel… the source of comfort in dire times… all seemed like ashes then. And your disappearance from the internet made my own health deteriorate worse than what it already was, for I feared that I may never have a stable source of entertainment again. I never unsubscribed to any of you. I kept notifications on, praying that one day, you would return. I knew it wouldn’t happen immediately, but as time ticked on… depression hit me like a truck. My grades suffered, my mental health tanked, and after hearing rumours of you ‘getting a game over,’ as it were (thank Arceus they weren’t true), I was seriously considering following you, but I wanted to make sure your game wasn’t over before I did. And I’m glad I held through. It might’ve been hard these past few months just to put one leg in front of the other… but I think I speak for all of your fans when I say it was 100% worth it in the end.
I know you still need to recover, but seeing you again, just as cheesy and loud as ever, has given me a spark in my heart, one I haven’t felt in months. You probably still have a long way to go before you’re fully back to normal, but I know the tunnel will eventually end. And when it does, we’ll all be waiting for you. Your videos have inspired me to keep going in life, to never give up. Even when things look hard, you show how simple they really are. When you blunder, you laugh alongside us. It’s what’s motivated me, and possibly millions of other people.

I was personally not terribly surprised about Emile's allegations, nor was I particularly outraged by them even before his own response. He didn't deserve what happened to him, but he still needs to learn how to interact with others appropriately online...although he's much better than many already unfortunately.

I also know that despite everything Emile is still a good-hearted guy and I still watch back old TRG videos and his own stuff because I still genuinely enjoy them and still support him no matter what. People honestly need to learn to separate the art from the artist

@@punxsydawn I still watch Jon on occasion, but I never was an avid viewer of his streams...or any streams on Twitch, for that matter, because that site seems to really have trouble when you're not on Wifi
But I honestly just feel horrible for Jon. First there was the Completionist charity debacle, then almost as soon as that was concluded, the Emile controversy was immediately thrusted online like a sack of potatoes. Both of these people were really close friends with Jon, and he got punched in the guts and nuts twice in a row.
I honestly feel pretty bad for Jon too, but what made the controversy with Emile even worse is that the whole thing was completely overblown

@@King_Luigi Not really. GAA1 and 2 tell a story across two games where each feels incomplete without the other. Investigations 1 and 2 tell completely different stories with some of the same characters.

I am amazed emile is willing for an online showing this early since all the drama, I was 100% thinking he would want to be radio silent for a good while, probably rest of the year, but It's nice seeing him doing fine, and able to emote and be active. I know this doesn't mean anything concrete for future projects with emile(Him uploading on his channel, or runaway guys returning.) But I do hope this doesn't stop him from returning in full force one day. If your reading this Emile, It's awful what happened to you, and how everyone blew a bunch of other stuff, and being dammingly vague about events, just ended up being a giant nothing burger. Hang in their man, I hope you are doing better every day.
I have a feeling this was kind of to test the waters. It's up to Emile if he wants to go forward with being back in the public eye, if he wants to stick with just cameoing for a while, or if he decides he doesn't like the attention. He's been showing up at some conventions just as a casual enjoyer of them, not participating as Chuggaaconroy, and he seems to have gotten much better. As someone who struggles with the exact same things that Emile struggles with, it's just so awful to be falsely vilified for being yourself.

I just want to say that I'm so glad to see Emile is doing well alongside yourself. Know I'm late to the party here, but just wanted to echo what everyone else in the comments are saying, and say that it's great seeing Emile on camera again after everything that happened with him the past few months. He seems to be doing a lot better in this video, which is great to see. Thank you for being such a good friend to him Tim and having his back through all of this.
It has been an absolute joy to see Emile popping off to the Nintendo Direct that I only recently was able to get caught up on du to work. Be it as it may, I'm just so hapy to see that Emile and Tim are still thick as thieves and seemingly doing well here. I hope that you and your friend group are getting the support that you need, and that I will always be a long standing fan even if I'm not always visible. Tim, Emile, and the entire TRGverse made my childhood more bearable. So I genuinely hope you all are able to rest as you need.
