Crazy how we got 3 Mario RPGs in the span of a year.
From all 3 series, to boot!
After all these years...
SMRPG, Paper Mario, Mario and Luigi
I finally got them all.
Nintendo: Never ask us for anything again!

This direct was freaking fire, I’m most excited for Mario and Luigi
You know it was a fantastic direct when we finally got Prime 4 info and it was only the third most exciting thing.

Not a big zelda fan myself, but that does look neat
More like it shows how pointless it is to make metroid games
5th most for me cuz the other 4 are Echoes of Wisdom, Brothership, Party Jamboree and *especially* Mahvel
Echoes of Wisdom has minecraft mechanics, laying materials down/summoning interactive elements
It also reminds me of Echo Fighters in Smash, it's mimicing certain abilities of the environment to be used to navigate terrain.

Mario and Luigi was the highlight of this entire direct from me, say if that was the only thing they actually showed at all I wouldn't complain because what else do you need? 😊

That Zelda game looks like a continuation of A Link to the past
In a sense. Link to the Past is clearly the basis, but there are various differences. For example, Death Mountain is now in the northwest and has switched places with Hebra, which was the Japanese name for the Dark World version of Death Mountain in the first place. (There are way more, of course.)
I’m sure Prime 4 is going to be cross gen and won’t be until the holiday season. I really doubt that the new console launches before then. What I’m curious about is if the Prime 2 remaster will come out in Spring and the Prime 3 remaster in Summer. I won’t be surprised if they come out before Prime 4 or right after the new console releases.

Yeah, jokes aside, Nintendo fulfilled one of my two big wishes I had for them. Now if we get Wario Land back, I'm set.

@@BowserEditz Yes, I should be happy, doesn't matter the circumstances and the quality. Then people have no idea why the Paper Mario situation was such a problem, that by the way, was also why Mario & Luigi franchise died in the first place.
No Nintendo character/lore, + gimmicks, no difficulty.

These were so NOSTALGIC!!! Mario and Luigi, a BRAND NEW TOP DOWN ZELDA, PRIME 4 IS REAAAAL!!! Really brought me back to the hype E3 days of old, 10/10 direct!!

I'm so happy we're getting Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. It was probably the best thing DK fans could realistically hope for.
I was really expecting a PiT remake if Mario and Luigi ever came back, given that's the only one without the Dream Team/Paper Jam graphics
