I am a Japanese who loves the Metroid series, but Metroid is not very popular in Japan.
I'm so glad to see it get so much excitement in the US. In fact, I am sure that thanks to you guys, this series is still being made into sequels !!

Maybe because US is so identic & familiar with Sci-Fi, there's so many cult classic sci-fi movies back in 80s/90s, many FPS games with sci-fi from western developer
Yes it's interesting. I can see how Metroid has more appeal in the US. I am in The US and I love the turned based jRPGs. And I am thankful for for people in Japan for continuing to make such fun games.
I think because the us likes shooting games and while Metroid isn’t a shooter it has shooting elements

I keep forgetting it was shown in 2017, considering I thought it was 2018 (Must've mixed up the year it was first introduced and such).
And we have returned! What a solid direct to react to in person, and what a crowd of people to react to it with! My voice shot about halfway through but I still tried kickin it. Thank you Nintendo for bringing back one of my favorite series of all time in Mario and Luigi, and thank you for also finally revealing Prime 4 in all its fantastic glory. Although the Switch is on its way out, it's at least going out with a bang

One thing I love about these group reactions is that their is always at least a few people excited for everything. Like, every other youtuber I watched reacting to the direct did not know/care about The New Denpa Men, which is fair as it was a small, eshop only, 3ds only series of games. But I was excited and it made me really happy to see people in this video be excited for it, especially that one person who instantly shouted "DENPA MEN!"

Nice, I did enjoy watching today's new Nintendo Direct earlier, and on May 31st last month of this year, the day before I went on a cruise with Royal Caribbean to Bermuda on June 1st of this month, while walking around New York City, I went to Nintendo NY for my first time in person, and I did enjoy exploring this place. I purchased a Nintendo New York cap and a 3 month Nintendo Switch Online membership physical card while I was there.
