Great video and repair. It's one thing that I have been thinking about for a while. I hate spending money on items that you can repair. Cheers from John in New Zealand.
Well done, great video images, thanks for that. 👌👌👏 As I noticed, the machine was probably used for a long time with high tire pressure. You can see this clearly around 12:50, there is not much tread in the middle of the tread, it is used up.
I liked everything about this video except for the fact that you didn't use anti seize on that pto shaft. I use anti seize on EVERYTHING, including my hotdogs when I run out of mustard. 😳🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️😅
Hay got a bigdog zero turn clutch is non adjustable type when clutch switch is off the clutch still turns the blades but slower than when it’s on at switch any idea what’s going on thanks if you read this hope for a reply ps is the clutch got dirt in it may me or may be it’s the switch????
I have a similar situation I have a cub cadet 42". I hit a stump from an old fence while cutting my yard and now my PTO won't engage my blades the PTO cuts on but blades don't spin. Would this be the same issue as the video?
The keyway is machined into the shaft opening of the PTO and not on the crankshaft, sadly I don't believe it can be fixed. Then again ole DoubleWide may have a sure fire way to fix it right up.

Another job well done Bob. Jake is taking a break from posting videos for a while since he and friends are rebuilding a 67 Mustang.

Do you remember the clutch model number? I have the same issue, but mine won’t split apart.
Looks a lot like the 2005 white outdoor that my neighbour gave me after it burned up on her. Mine has tecumseh twin

Patrick it sounds like the keyway inside the PTO shaft may have sheared off and just spins freely when engaged.
@@Big_Johns so can that be fixed or just get a new PTO?

Patrick if you go to 03:11 in the video you can see the keyway on the lower opening of the PTO.
@@Big_Johns ok thanks I'll go back and watch again
