Update on Cao: Haven't spoke with them in a good 3 months, messaged them and i have no idea where they are as of right now. So i guess i joined everyone else in the comment section that said they lost their pals 😅

I also have a Chinese friend (my very first sky friend)! If Cao is a student, school just started 3-4 months ago and there’s a high chance they’re boarding in dorms. Plus their school work are usually jam packed so they really can’t have much time to play until next vacation.

One of my sky best friend is also chinese. She's always missing for good 2-3 months due to her school. I think they are not allowed to have phones while in dorms or smthing but I always welcome her with a warm sky hug everytime we play again together ~ i wanna know if u reunited with Cao again if yes, that'd be great^^
The fact that two people that speak completely different languages can get together like this by chance and become friends is so crazy to me. This makes me so happy.

I met a Chinese girl months ago and this reminds me so much of us. She’s always worrying about my sleep schedule because of timezones, we go to beautiful places, sometimes we joke around and we’re learning a bit of our native languages (I’m teaching her some Spanish sometimes haha).
We talk about deep stuff, sometimes we just sit in the Hidden Forest and hear the rain. She has a very special place in my heart and just like this video, I wish I recorded some parts of our journey as friends..
Such a magical experience to meet people from other places around the world, and even befriend them. Cao worries about my sleep schedule too because I'm an insomniac so I can relate there 😏

All these stories hurts to read, knowing that one day my friendship with my Egyptian friend will slowly crumble to the point where I have to accept reality. We should Cherish this memories until the bitter end.
I still remember the time i started playing sky its about 2 years ago from now, i meet a veteran solo player she was carrying a moth along with her, after i light her up i added her and she guided the two of us to spirits and wings,
Across all realms, as a moth i always admire her, she was like a mother figure to me. she was tall, and well dressed , everytime i get confuse or lost she was always there spreading her arm, she was too gentle and kind its as if i would hear her voices through the texts, i’ve never been that attached to someone like this before, after about a month, I started ubering instead since I’m already familiar to sky, she would talk about how much she loves ghibli movies and strawberries ,she loves howl’s moving castle ost, taking pictures, she love cats, she also like to carry me around places, she also love talking alot and i love listening! She always tell me about her illness, about how her body is getting weaker and weaker and kept saying she was glad for being her ! The naive me from years ago always burst out crying every she talked about it, all i can do was cheer her up, eventually she started getting less online and then in one find evening we played together for the last time, while we were doing cr in the vault , she told me that we won’t able to playing together for few months and more, the reason were unknown she didn’t tell me why. she just say to wait for her until she return back and she never did.
Everytime i think about it, i tear up, i hope i get to see you oneday i even own lots of cosmetics and the pants you wanted but never had, i’ll saw you new places, just come back, sorry for my english

Omg boy im crying
Just started playing Sky again after stopping for like a year. When i first started, i didn't even know that all of the avatars were real people. Therefore, i randomly make friend at first. After playing for a week, i began to know more about the game and its mechanism. I feel more scared to socialize after i knew it was all real people.
U can say I'm an independent player and i did all of my spirit alone. Then, one day i discover the sanctuary island. There's this spirit that's so hard for me to do since im still a beginner at that time. After a while, I've been thinking to quit finishing that spirit and give up but then this one person join me.
Because of that person joining, that mission gets more fun to do. After we done it, i get so excited so happy. We honk at each other and spins around. I thought it was going to end just like that because I'm not brave enough to make friend but then that person reach out first.
I couldn't tell u how timid i was but fr, I'm actually very introvert at that time and my social anxiety is really high. I want to make friend but I'm scared. Luckily, that person made the first move and so we became friend!!
Actually i don't know their gender is and I'm scared to mistook their gender. I call them Niki, a very cool person and chill.
They were the one that actually teach me a lot about Sky and i like talking with them. Yk what's so funny though? We only get to play together for total 3 days if I'm not mistaken. Even on that short amount of time we spent, there's still a lot of memories and words i couldn't get out.
It's like my first time experiencing someone talking so softly to me. Even on that short amount of time, they did a lot of impact on me and build my personality a lot on sky.
They got to left sky though since they need to focus on study. I thought they only left for a while and will come back soon.. but i was wrong. I kinda regret not reading their text throughfully.
It's been like 2 years maybe, and I'm still waiting for u to come back and lit my candle. I wanna watch the rainbow together still. I wanna tell u about the past seasons i get to experience. I've change now and are more sociable, especially on the internet and i think it's all because of u. If i could, i really wanna meet u for one last time.

After i left, i tried making new friends but it didn't feel the same. Slowly, playing sky kinda make me burnt out and so i stopped playing for a year but then i started again this year. But i never delete this game y'know!! Because i believe u would randomly lit my candle.. please.

I met a friend a few months ago when I was looking for help in that second gate, she was a newbie as well. Luckily, I had a few candles to unlock chat for us, and I did it. Since that day, we've been talking a lot to each other, she's from Ukraine, studying overseas far from war, and I'm from Brazil. A couple days ago, she told me that she was feeling sick, she got a fever, then told me that she had to rest a little because her vision was blurry (probably because it was 2 AM in her country, while it was 10 PM in mine) then I said it was okay, she could rest all she wanted. And so did she, but she didn't come back yet, I've been waiting for her for 11 days, I'm getting worried and I can't send her gifts to alert that I am online, because I already did... I hope Shu (her name) is okay, I really do

I had a Japanese friend and our friendship was very similar, they taught me everything about this game, and even gifted me the Little Prince season pass, we har a really good relationship and i used to wake up early every day just to play with them, because of the timezones, they would be going to sleep a little after i used to wake up, so we could only play for a little, but those moments were the best i've ever had playing sky until today, i remember it well, it's just in my memory now because they stopped playing the game (they would log in one time or another but with weekly or monthly breaks) and we didn't have any sort of social media to stay in touch, and right after that my phone broke and i went 6 months straight without being able to log into Sky to check if they were online, now even since i got my phone back, i never see them online again, yet i hope i can meet them at least one more time.
This game connect people so well, that one of my best friends ever ended up being japanese, i have never even thought it would be possble!
This game is truly art, and is made to connect people together, in union, and make us be the best we can 💝

Me and two other moths once met when I was playing my flute near the boat in Prairie. Glory and Oreo were their names. We have been friends for 2 weeks and get on almost every night just to go to the Aurora concert,music hall,prairie, or any other random place we find.
I recently bought them a pass to the Season Of Duets, can’t wait to see their reaction when they get online :D
They are both from the same town, while im the weird one from the US. But, it’s amazing how I can be friends with these two amazing sky children.

As I was playing Sky with one of my friends, Neewa, suddenly,my friend Sakura showed up out of nowhere. She apologised to me and said how she doesn't want to lose her friends. She also said that she wants to play with me again. I was quite taken aback, I thought she had abandoned me which made me sad. I told her about it and she said she was sorry. We gave each other a heart and she gave me a special hug. I said goodbye to her because I had to do something important and she told me to take care. This entire thing made me feel slightly happier and gave me a bit more hope of her return. Sakura, if you see this, please take care. Have a great day or night, my fellow friend.

This video is so sweet, and the comments made my eyes water hahaha. I have to say, my experience is very different than most people here. I have indeed met many good friends, but none were so close to the point I would get emotionally attached to them.
When I first started playing, most people I met would log in few times a month and eventually disappear. Very very few of my friends I have actually unlocked chat with, and again, within few months they would be gone.
I didn't mind that because I would always play with my siblings. I didn't feel like something was missing, because I always had my sister to play with. All the four of us would spend hours playing this game. Either candle run, complete quests or just goof around. My younger siblings lived in a different house than us so it was our way of connecting when they were far away. The best days were the days we would visit them and all be gathered in the bedroom playing sky.
Now I have migrated to America, my siblings lost interest in sky, my sister is studying. I have no one. Suddenly I am lonely. I open my friend's constellation and none of the people I friends are active. Some of the names on there have not been active for three years, I just can't let go of them. Some I don't even remember meeting.
I love playing sky, and I have so much fun playing solo. But it's just different without my siblings. Without anyone to talk to.
This makes me cry you are so blessed to have a friend. I thought I had a friend but she kept calling me names and getting mad at me for no reason. Still I miss the good times.

My friend who I’ve known since they were in their teens (they’re a young adult now) is getting sick more often recently. At times they would stop playing early because they don’t feel well. Yesterday they told me that they only have a couple years left and I was devastated because I know their personality and they tend to downplay things. I’m sure that by years they most likely meant months and with how often they wanted to play recently makes me believe this is the case. It really hurts to think that someone years younger would leave before me. It just doesn’t seem right. I try to go on like normal but sometimes I catch myself mourning them already despite the fact that we still play everyday.

Ahh this is so beautiful! When you find friends you get along with. And it must be so great to have such a big group of friends.
In the year and a half I've been playing Sky, I've met two people who are just like your friend. I remember my first friend, they helped me play Sky and taught me things when I first started. I never talked to them. We didn't have a chat and we only communicated through emotions. I love them a lot, but when I learned to play Sky perfectly, they left. They started playing at a different time than me and made new friends. So we parted ways even though I know they're online every day.
And then about a year later I met another person who completely changed my life. Even though he's just a Sky friend I've never seen in real life and probably never will. But for the last six months, we've been playing together a lot. I think we've been through a lot together that has been hard and many times I've been scared that he would leave me. But in the end, even after the hard times, he stayed with me. I love him very much. And if times get tough again, we'll get through it together.

Last time I had a friend on sky was 2020 we were besties but suddenly we fell apart and we don’t talk anymore since a few months now, she was like a sister, a family to me but then left me without any explanations… I guess I meant nothing to her, but it’s all love. I made a friend in china on here and we named each other, he named me Ai and I named him Aria. We would play together really often and he would tell me about all the music he loved and instruments he could play, then one day he just vanished and I think about him really often. He would give a compliment literally every time i changed something on my kid too lol
I cried all the way through this my little best friend is from China and I live in Texas and we have no trouble communicating just like you guys😂❤🎉

That’s a very sweet video and it reminded me a lot of my own experience as well, i met a friend in sky who helped me getting a spirit and we became close over time playing everyday and doing candle runs and everything together, i miss those times sometimes, so much nice memories.

This is giving me a lot of nostalgia hehe. Last year during July (2021) I would play Sky all the time with my friend and it made our bond grew stronger and I would play anytime I could with them and their other friends. We did a lot of missions together, they even helped me get through Eden which I was very emotional about lol. It's been a year since I last spoke to them and played the game but I've recently gotten back into and I play it with my boyfriend and it makes me really happy because it gives me so much memories. I met one of my first friends in Hidden Forest when I was still a moth, and I was very shy at the time as a new player. She adopted me, and we have been unlocking friendship level ever since. I've always wanted a Japanese friend, and I'm so grateful to have her in my life now. I fear one day we won't be able to talk as much, but for now I will always appreciate, and cherish her friendship dearly. Just like how you two are, we always goof around, and talk about how our day went despite time differences (i'm in America). I enjoyed this video a lot, especially the wasteland part haha 😂 Hopefully, one day every sky player can find their special sky kiddo too!
I’ve made many friends who speak different languages over the years and many press me to go to bed all the time (reset happens at 2am where I live)
I’ve learned a lot from them all including a bit of spanish, japanese, mandarin, taiwanese, russian, and arabic. They’re all very fun to hang out with and now thanks to the translation feature I can speak to all my old friends I met two years ago as a moff properly lmao.
I meet one girl in there we both start to meet each other often too and become bestie in sky even though the language barrier 😭 this make me miss her

so..I started playing sky a good solid 3 months ago, still a moth. I had this friend who I named Kiko because she told me her name was hope. Kiko meant hope in Japanese so I thought it would be a good name for her. She told me that her mental health was not good and ever since she met me, her therapist said her health was getting better. I WAS LIKE, WHA?? OMG I'M A THERAPIST NOW!! (btw she still plays with me. haven't seen her for a few months tho :C )
It is always great to meet new people. Some might argue that friendships indirectly cause break ups and thus only harm, being able to live all the memories is still worth it. You would never know how a bad day can turn around after meeting someone close!
What keeps me going with the sky is my friends, sky community is truly beautiful. I’ve met so many nice and good people and I’ve made so many new friends just by playing it. It’s such a calm game and the fact that it even has its own translator means I can play with Japanese people (I’ve got 2 really nice friends) that don’t speak English and we use the translator and we are still able to communicate, that just seems a mind blowing 🎉😢

I am so moved by this video Jacob… It made me feel sad because my moth year wasn’t the best experience. I lost ppl and a good friend that I trusted. Sky didn’t felt the same anymore… and I felt alone. And I closed myself from making new friends after that and took a break from Sky. Months later when I got back into Sky I met a good Sky kid who soon became my friend now. And I cherish her so much.
I’d enjoy watching how you first met Cao. And how u guys built a good friendship. I think it’s wonderful that the universe have brought you and Cao together. I wish you guys can make more memories together in the future.

This video reminds me of my friend and I we played sky together for about 2 years but then life just got busier for both of us and eventually we stopped playing. This Cao person is almost exactly like my Chinese friend I have on Sky. She is in college, so she can't serenade me for 30 minutes non stop but she is really cool. We actually met when she was a moth (I was an undercover moth, using cosmetics to look old) and I was looking for someone to play hide and seek. We played a least 5 rounds, and then I unlocked all the emotes up to Chat for us. She thought that it was a huge sacrifice, which is kinda nice. Refreshing to find chill people on Sky,

I told her that I might leave sky for a while because I need to do something about mental health andy physical health I other things I have to work on in life I told that I might have depression and she sad. This is actually a really sweet..
Kind of reminds me of the story of when I met my best friend Ozzy... I had all been given up on friendship after my friends had left and didn't bother wasting candles on anybody.
I became heartless by heartless I mean not making any hearts not mean or anything but yeah.
Anyway one day I met this random moth and I usually block almost that I meet... One day I just decided to unblock everybody after having them blocked for about a year and I ended up on blocking Ozzy which I actually called Mojave...
Turns out he's a sweet little dude, he speaks Indonesian so it's really hard but I'm really thankful for the translator that way me and him can both speak our respected languages without being uncomfortable and struggling to understand each other.
He pretty much brought back the light in me and although my mentor and the month that I raised are gone and no longer playing... It's really fun having him with me.. He's not your normal moth he only joined two weeks ago and he's already got the chibi mask not to mention 20 hearts as he stated... This guy is a classic grinder and I respect that.

I made this TH-cam channel just for fun so I normally upload videos whenever something was a nice experience like this one, or for other reasons. I may or may not, Sky is such an amazing game that I play everyday now however I don't think there's a lot of content I could make others haven't already. I'm always usually a solo sky person but sometimes the people I made friends with do join with me
I played sky in 2020, i think right after season of sanctuary until the beginning of season of profecy, and now im back, and i feel like players on 2020 are nicer than current players, cause when im back i met some players and they held me, but then i got krilled for several times, at first i thought it was unintentionally but then they held me again and brought me straight to krills, and then i realised they did it intentionally. And recently i join some discord servers, i made some new friends but i only played with them once, and when i warped to them and said hello, they ignored me, so yeah i prefer to go solo now, but honestly i get lonelier everytime i play sky, when i get bored and lonely i go to hermit valley, stare at the sun take some photos and go home, and go offline. I think im gonna delete this game when i reach 100% on all my constellation, but i dont know
I've heard the same thing ever since Sky came out. Similar to real life, some people are just jerks no matter the situation, you just gotta find your group of moths again. :)
