Although I am not an expert in this field, I would think that a child who grows up in an emotional and verbal abusive household would lead to the child’s anxiety. I could definitely see the correlation.
While there could be a relationship between environment/relationships and the development of anxiety, it doesn't necessarily mean that one caused the other. Biology and other factors likely play a role as well. For example, siblings (who share some biology and often the same home), will grow and develop differently, with different strengths and challenges.
love it! may i ask about how to help a child 3-5 years old as they have to live in two house holds weekly ! its so many transitions its bringing up a lot of anxiety
That can be a tricky situation for sure! Talking to kids ahead of time about the change and what it means, asking for their feedback on what’s toughest, and having consistency and similar routines at each house (when possible) can help increase that sense of safety and reduce anxiety. 💕
Thank you so much for this informatiom

Thanks for making these videos. It is really helpful with my shy nervous 3 year old.
Short and sweet. Thank you.
All steps you mentioned were what I already knew, but put so well together.
