hadn't come across your channel before, but i'm getting a new 'garage' or shed as you call them, and came across this video while looking for ideas on layouts. incredible the thought Brenton put into the layout of this, can tell he really takes pride in it. great vid fellas

Mezz storage is my favourite. Putting two 6x3m in mine - thats the equivalent of a double garage worth of junk that's off the floor.

This guy Brenton is just like me, except for my lack of organization, but definitely an inspiration. Guitars, motorcycles, old cars...YES! I want to go there and take measurements of his shop!

I like having the hoist at the door. My old shed had the hoist at the back of the shed, which made the space between hoist and door useless.
Building my new shed in the next few weeks, this was the perfect video to watch, although it's going to cost me 😂 need more of these!
Loving these shed videos, I’m building a similar garage to this at the moment. 10m x 7m wide, 3.4m eaves with a mezzanine down the back just like this one….this video has given me so many ideas cheers guys
I have one of those electric winches mounted to my shed ceiling, but I love how he out his on rails like that, makes it SO much more versatile. The Grey portable workbench made from different types of old cabinets and scrap is legendary - great workshop and great tour guys, nice work :)
What a cool dude and very humble. His is a very enviable shed 😊. And what about his memorabilia collection, that’s on another level too. Been having dangerous thoughts of building some mezz storage in my shed recently, this pushes me closer over the line haha
The everlast TIG is a great unit, too. You'll see all our TIG fabrication is done on the same machine 👌🏻

Mezzanine, by far the best use of space for storage, I recently built an 8m x 8m shed with an 8m x 5m carport attached to the front. The gives you back floor space. I laughed when he said he would add height and I thankfully made mine the 3.6 to the eave and 4.3 to the ridge. This allows you to stand up in the centre of the mezz. I too added a winch to lift stuff up to the mezz on a swing out boom and put a pull down stair case in the mezz floor. Update on pricing for today, $40K with power and lights, plans, DA, slab, shed kit, etc. etc. Luv the shed in the vid, great work guys, Cheers
Very nice and well organized shop. I definitely took some ideas for a shop that I plan to build in 2022. I think my favorite part was that workbench with the toolbox in it.

Mate, that’s one hell of a shed! I love the workshop area under the mezzanine. I’d love to have a dedicated work/project area like that.

Awesome video fellas, I really loved the content and ideas that I have been able to get.
I live in a semi rural setting and my shed is 20m x 10m x 4m high. I have racks, however would love a mezzanine and 4 post hoist.
I love the mini mezzanine above the rollers and the compressor storage. I also love the portable work bench equipped with tools. The electric block and tackle is also a great idea.

Very nice indeed, mine is very very similar only I don’t have a hoist as yet. One thing I noticed he didn’t have which is incredibly handy especially if you have expensive toys in there is a welding/dirty side curtain, I use an old truck tarp and stops all the grinding dust/sawdust etc etc from drifting over the whole shed contents. Keep up the awesome work, loved this ep

I like the idea off the welding bench top, maybe magnets or some toggle clamps would help to keep them stable. Cheers 4 sharing your shed sir.

Brenton how about magnets for your modulated table. Magnets will hold it tight and might be an easier fix? Luv the workshop, inspiring to say the least!

Awesome use of space
Very cool shed, and lots of great ideas. Personally not a fan of Mezzanine’s, but that’s only cause i’ve got the space to just build more sheds. They make a lot of sense when you need to fit as much as possible in there. I think that material length storage in the beams is one of my favourite ideas. I don’t like throwing stuff out either, and it’s pretty much an hour round trip if i have to go buy anything mid project.
Awesome shed👍like US farm sheds especially mez floor. Some shed have full on display glass cabinets full toys n mementoes.

Every bloke needs a shed. I'm currently building 15x9x3.6 shed in my backyard and I can't wait to implement some of your ideas mate.
I'd also love to install that overhead crane lifting device, only thing I'm not sure of is the overall lifting capacity of the structure you have it fixed too. You don't want to buckle your shed's skeleton. Have you had it rated ??
A mezzanine is also definitely on the cards too.

Thats a great shed and very well thought out; unfortunately many of us can’t either fit something that back in our backyard or our local councils won’t allow something that big.
Anyway, I’m jealous.

He's done well , move that car hoist up to the mezzanine end and use it to hoist stuff up there.
I’ve got that exact size shed. Was uncertain about a mezzanine, but done deal now.
