nothing deters my cat from the door, i went the ignoring route and shes done so much damage to my floors and any type of "protectant" i use she immediately rips up and goes back to ripping up the carpet. ignoring her right now and shes literally shredding my carpet, and no, nothing in this video will work. lol.
its been 2 months straight of this for just about every moment shes awake simply because she wants to leave the room. i cant physically give her more attention or play with her more.

Just kick the cat lightly in the face when it tries to get in through the door :) it will stop soon enough trust me

My cat learned how to get around the SSSCat’s sensor so it’s ineffective. I’ve had her for 8 months and every night/morning, she’s crying and scratching at the door. She gets playtime and her last meal is just before bed. I’m so close to giving her away after trying everything under the sun. The last resort is putting a mat by the door that sends small electric impulses when stepped on. Really hate to do this, but what else is there… 😓
Help it can't either way. If i let him in i think he's gonna calm down. NOPE. PLAYING WITH MY BAGS, PAPER, PENCILS, and if i tell him to get out, he hides under the bed and does it all AGAIN.

My kitty scratches the door at nite and I need sleep so I let her in she jumps on bed a im thinking great she is going to sleep with me 😁..WRONG!! WRONG !! IT was a trick lol...she layed there then boom on the window moving blinds all nite running on top of the bed under the bed good lord up the walls then im like out ENOUGH!! So then out to the living room. I do notice that if I dont give in she will stop after about 15 or 20 minutes.
I saved a kitten that I found outside my place she was very skinny and crying very loudly and was wet. I took her in cause my town is horrible for outdoor cats due to all the coyotes but I feel she has separation anxiety with me. I shut my door at night (I have an older cat too she gets along wi5 great) but I don’t let her in cause she’s extremely loud which is understandable being a kitten. No matter what though if I’m not in the room with her she will do this shrilly complaining meow and constant clawing at my door. She is well fed trying to get her weight up and she has company she gets along with but still needs me constantly. It’s tough when I’m trying to sleep or trying to work cause her meowing is so high pitch. Trying to find a solution lol like everyone here

😂 My cats is a cold one she can go for hours at a time, VERY annoying.
Same with me, he will do that for hours. It’s not that I dont want to allow him to sleep with me but he will not let me sleep peacefully until i wake up. I need to be more creative to find solution

Well ignoring it seems to do nothing to help 😂 my carpet and door are becoming absolutely destroyed, definitely gonna have to invest some money in repairs

Have you found a solution yet? If not I would say try cat nail caps, Purrdy Paws & SoftClaw are two brands that sell them. And if you aren’t already, make sure his nails stay trimmed * at least the pointy edge off if you don’t know how to safely trim them yet, cause some people pay nail trimmers to be safe b/c the nail vein, but the vein doesn’t extend all the way through
99% of the time its because that's the cats property and needs to check it out. Worst thing you can do is let a cat go in a room where it can't go 100% of the time

It's not my cat it's my roommates cat and keeps banging on my door in the middle of the night where I don't sleep and they don't fucking care and I'm tired and stressed out because of it, I'm ready to throw this cat out because it's messing up my schedule
Get a motion activated air sprayer. Shoots a puff of air if the cat walks by. Pricey but very effective

If your roommates door isn’t locked, then maybe you could place the cat inside or knock until they do something
The cat mainly goes for my door and the roommates don't do anything about it.

Maybe try some esrplugs. Don’t know if you could also put something like a rubberplate in front, so it wouldn’t want to scratch.
Maybe also a spraybottle whenever it scratches
Open the door to the house let it out side or in the apartment hallway get some peace
