I was thinking the same; he looks totally confident in his safety, and extremely comfortable.( I say he because 80% of ginger cats are male.) Because I did cat rescue work for years I really never had just one or two cats, and I regret not being able to provide them with such comfort and very much attention. I was too soft to be a foster mom. Nobody was good enough to adopt them in my eyes, so I ended up keeping most of them! By the way ginger and ginger and white cats are the quirkiest and some of the most affectionate.

Sadly, my 14 yr old Apple Blossom, big ole Tiger Cat had to go to heaven yesterday. Today my stomach is in knots, my heart aches and my eyes are still red and swollen. I grieve with you. I lost my kitty 22 years ago, and I still think about him all the time and miss him dearly. But, in 2019 he came back to visit me when I was having a particularly hard time staying alive. And I know that he will be there to greet me when I cross over. So I would like you to believe that you will see your kitty again when you cross over and you will both be delighted to see each other again and to Revel in each other's love for the other.
