My fav is still the five piece win condition that is Exodia The Forbidden One
I loved how has effect was written in the rule books 😂 it's like, yes, this card is basically the royal flush of the game.
Although I hated arguing with idiots trying to say his effect could be negated. Nope. Once that 5th and final piece is in your hand. That's it. No questions.
Now you can stop it by prevent your opponent from drawing that fifth and final piece. But once they have that 5th and final piece. That's it. But you still have morons out there who believe it can be stopped because it's an effect.
It's a win condition. It's no different than evenly matched. That card can affect monsters who can't be affected by card effects.
As the card states your opponent must banish cards till they control the same number of cards you control. So in other words. It's not affecting the field per se. It's affecting your opponent directly.
I'm honestly surprised Konami hasn't added more cards with that type. Because people are always trying to make the most unbeatable card. Like they were trying to do with crooked cook. Basically making him unable to be tributed, destroyed in battle, targeted, immune to card effects, etc.
But even if they were able to accomplish this. Evenly matched could still defeat since there's no way to block such an effect other than negativing the trap card itself.

actually it's pretty simple. If you want to understand the basic lore of Exodia, it's pretty obvious. Laura of Yu-Gi-Oh supposed to be about Egypt. In the Bible all the gods of Egypt got their butt kicked by Yahweh. In The Exodus. Exodus exodia, it's a parallel

Something about "Contract with Exodia" and "Edodia Necross." So we STILL haven't gotten a true Zorc Necrophades archtype with card mostly eluding to events surrounds him in the manga like Dark Master Zorc being the Dungeon Master of Yami Bakura based on him and Diabound Kernal being based on Yami Bakuras fused Ka of his spirit with whatever the thief king had prior (really more Yami Bakura based than anything ..and no, he is not Zorc. He is the thief king corrupted by a piece of Zorcs soul and even Zorc himself recognized all his pawns contianing a piece of his soul had this identity disorder but did not consider them more than pawns.) CWTFO and EN may be more of these cards though, and if so, thw most purely Zorc referencing. The millenium ritual from the millenium spellbound to create the millenium items (real creative there Zorc..) was actually a disguised dark summoning contract using alchemic magic to bring yhe spirit of Zorc over to our realm. It is hinted that Zorc was one an angel lining up with more traditional biblical depictions, that had fallen and become banished. The myths behind the spellbound claim it is a gift of the angels themselves and written in their tongue. That is why the Egyptians coudl not decipher its texts for so long. The divine Diabound Ka of thief king bakura even is believed to be closer to what Zorc origional looked like before his fall from grace which is conveyed by his transformation into his true form as TKB uses the Ka to commit atrocities. Comparatively you have Exodia, a massive force that is banished for being too destructive but brought back in an undead form through a dark contract. It further makes sense when you recognize EXODIA WAS A SERVENT OF ZORC. Yeah..something people overlook..The control of Exodia was actually one of the perks of the Millenium ritual along with the 7 Items and a wish to be granted at its conclusion by one who performed it. It seems like this massively great benefit but the truth is that none of what Zorc forked over were meant to be useful enough to tjsoe who freed him to use agaisbt him. As powerful as Exodia could be, he still did not pose a genuine threat to Zorc as Zorc was still more powerful and the orugional Master of Exodia. The items were made from his dark magic as well. The ONLY reason he was orgionally defeated is because he is a demon of humanity's darkness. He never considered the pendent (Yes, pendent. It became the millenium puzzle after Atems history changing use of it that resulted in its fragmentation) would be used in such a selfless manner. The Pharoah sacrificed his own life to use it as a prison for Zorc and his own soul. This was meant to be an eternal prison so Zorc never believed anyone could be so selfless. If it had not been for Zorcs own selfish carelessness, they would ahve both remained there forever. It was his splitting of his soul into TKB and that entity further breaking a piece into the high priest that allowed the spirits inside the puzzle to become less dormant. The ring held a piece of this soul so when it's influence was used its connection yo the main Zorc soul kept it active in the Puzzle. As the two items got closer in proximity, both started to regain more of their powers and identity, along with the Pharoah. Zorc never intended ANY of this to occur. He expected to just overpower the priests and be like "you thought id give you ACTUAL valid weapons against me mother fuckers?!" No. Exodia was his pet so having a version that emulated the story of Zorc seems to be a clear elation to that being himself in my opinion.

They should do a live action Yugi movie where he gets to summon Exodia.. Oooooooo or a animated movie that goes back to the time where the monsters actually existed and find out what made him "forbidden"

Are you sure Exodia, the Legendary Defender needs 5 tributes? Cause by the looks of it, that's optional, it says you CAN tribute 5 monsters, not that you have to
But to tribute 5 monsters and attack a dark fiend monster gives you a win con.
It's part of his effect condition. It's level 10 so it only needs 3 tributes but you don't get the effect.

@@8BitGamer4life not even that it just says you can tribute 5 monsters, end of sentence, which is useful for the stats as they are determined by the tributes

True exodia is a troll card. If you draw all parts of exodia on top of True Exodia, the opponent automatically wins. But you can exploit that if they have all the parts, and you use a spell or effect that gives them control of your True Exodia, then you win 😂

The new fusion is so cool that i want to build a deck oround him in master duel 😊
It has a pretty good effects too. I mean during the damage step it goes off by your life points.
And he has a free card negate every turn. Not just spells and traps. Butt monster effects too. I mean yeah it's a hard once per turn activation. But it costs you nothing. It doesn't require you to discard, or pay, or anything.
It just says negate. So that means your opponent has to waste two cards just to kill it. Perhaps more cards if you have protection set up already.
And the fact it's a level 10 monster means you can have it protected with mound of the creator.
It's pretty dang decent. A lot of the new cards exodia that have come out and are coming out are really helping it.
Really looking forward to seeing what it can do. Just waiting on that fusion and the other support cards to finally reach Master Duels. Those idiots really like to drag their feet...
