back in the day when the game was more simple people used to monologue for fun, now people spend 99% of the time reading cards because each card have like 100 abilities.
In the Japanese version yugi's magicians are all meant to have the word black instead of dark. Because black magic, 4kids changed it to avoid any potential race issues.

When I was a child, I thought at first you need to use Dark Magician as part of the ritual summon. I’m 25 now and obviously I’m aware how ritual summoning works
Just imagine that chaos magician as it's own character in another show of its own imagine the chaos it could cause if it was freely moving around not trapped in the tiny little card
So no one judge me when I say this but when I was a kid watching this I got chills watching this episode because to it was such amazing duel episode and feeling seeing a a new magician monster and I felt the same way with the duel against Mai when Yugi summoned the Black Luster Soldier but this episode brings back so much is Soldier and just a moment when I was so happy when I was younger.....welp....those were the days😂😭😂😭

I could be wrong but I think in the comics, gods don’t “die” like humans do. I think they are eventually reborn as long as they were in their original plane. They can only truly be killed by a being like Eternity or the Godkiller Sword 🗡️

I think it was similar to fusions. Like there's not a card in the deck, but the material/offerings need to be on the field for it to work.
