    Please help I had almost 15 called duck eggs that I candles and I listen to everybody when they said the humidity needed to be 55 to 60% well let’s just say I may have one that’s gonna make it and I have one die one me 😢 I am devastated. It seems like they were all too wet like they had too much of the whites left in them or they did not develop right or something. I’m not sure. I also had them upright while they were turning because they were stacked, and some of the aerosols were not perfect but stable. Do you think if I keep the humidity on the lower side it should help the three I have left.

      You should see veins for sure at day 10 of incubating the egg. The good thing is if it’s still beautiful and clear you can always leave it in there for another five days. It’s when the egg turns this awful color inside it means that it’s rotting and it could explode but you’ll smell some thing. But yes at day 10 you should see a bunch of beautiful veins.

    I'm a new subscriber and looking to purchase a "newborn" Call Duckling. I currently have two pet ducks and looking to hand raise a Call Duckling. Where do you live, and do you sell Call Ducklings?
    Thanks!

      I live in Port Orchard Washington and yes I do sell them for $10 each. If you live out of state I don’t ship.

      @@lonilazzari2082 Not at the moment because the batch attaching on the 20th has been already sold. But I am collecting eggs and hatching as long as they’re laying. Next batch of call duck eggs will be placed in the incubator middle of next week. Keep in contact with me on Facebook if possible all my legs are in the about section of TH-cam. Thank you

    Hi Charlie, my goose came of the shell this morning with some major help from me. The gosling is doing great. Should I keep him in the incubator another day or place him in a new home with food and water?

    • @charliesweb1k
      @charliesweb1k  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m so glad to hear that. Always keep freshly hatched babies for 24 hours in the incubator. Then the next day you can pull the baby out and put it into the brooder set up.
      Unless you notice the incubator is slippery then you can pull the baby out that same evening since you only have the one.
      You’ll have to take pictures and send it to me on my Facebook Charlie‘s chicks page. I’m so excited or even post a little video clip on my Facebook Charlie’s Chicks page.
