I grew up with the original trilogy I was 6 years old.it was a time of happiness and when life was simple,before the empire before today’s generation became something they can never be.happy with what they have around them today.I’m glad I grew up in those times.thankyou George Lucas

I’ll never forget the day: December 20th, 2019. It was my last day of school before Christmas break, and I went to go see this movie with my best friend. The beginning with Palpatine speaking to Kylo always sends chills down my spine when I watch this movie. Honestly, one of my favorite times I’ve ever seen a movie in theaters.

I had chills when I heard the Emperor’s laugh. I was like WHAT when I found out he was still alive. The entire movie theater gasped, the silence was so loud. I hate the new trilogy but damn was this movie semi decent
bringing back palpatine ruins anakins character because he fulfilled his prophecy by killing him so it just throws his ark in the garbage and it doesn't even make sense that he's alive because palpatine got thrown down a reactor shaft and it pretty much would have disintegrated him and then the Death Star blew up

Now this movie could have been better, but I know people have different opinions and the argument is up for debate. True it goes both ways, but it had way too many plot holes and the story which didn't make any sense to me.

I dunno. The movies where pretty alright if you ask me. People just upset that it is diffrent then the original movie trilogy. I bet in 10 years people will Look back and wonder why people hated it so much like they did with the pre-quals
@@donaldtrumpling2016 I think that’s the whole problem though. Disney were scared to do something the fan’s didn’t like, so they wanted to keep it like the original trilogy. The problem was that when everyone went to watch The Force Awakens, they felt nothing new or exiting from it. Disney had just stuck in a bigger Death Star. The main (and possible the only reason) people kept watching these was because they wanted to know who Rey was. Turns out Disney had no plan for Rey’s parents. They through the whole Palpatine thing at the very last second. THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE DOING!? And Goege Lucas even offered to help them. But Disney said no. Luckily, Dave Faloni and John Favrou might some day make the rebooted sequel trilogy.

The movies had great potential, but were completely wasted by people that seemed to not care at all about Star Wars and its fans, and completely disrespectful to George Lucas.
The movies were absolutely garbage. How you gonna have the most powerful Jedi in the whole galaxy that destroyed 2 Death Stars, defied the Empire, assembled one of the best fighter squadron in history, defeated 2 of the most feared and powerful men the galaxy has seen, become a complete joke; a sad, lonely, broken old man living in solitude, drowning in regret and fear?
Lame, just completely garbage.

Trailer tells us nothing. Nothing about the coming story. Films have gotten so far off from what they used to be. Star Wars is forever ruined. Killing off Luke and not continuing his story is the biggest bullshit in 7-8-9 films.

the movies sucked so bad even Lucas tried to buy back the rights so he could redo the movies it didn't even follow the cannon lore to the point it did away with 4 complete books this trash of a movie should be deleted and forgotten the only thing they got right was how solo died. Where was Luke going dark when his wife was killed by solo's Son Jacen?? He was so angry, he cracked a planet in two and his son Ben was the one that brings him back to the light side. Luke went dark so bad that even the the air itself was ripping apart from his anger the luke skywalker story ends with them going into exile but picks back up with cade skywalker.
