- This video is from the first showing of The Force Awakens Trailer 2 from inside the arena at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2015. It features JJ Abrhams introducing video and you briefly hear Kathleen Kennedy. Fan reaction is amazing! The trailer is Awesome!!!! Great experience. The ball droid was also amazing! It really is real! The guests were fantastic!
The "Chewie...we're home" line could be one of the best trailer moments ever created.
"Hey everyone" and "Chewie...we're home" will forever be the best trailer lines in history.
Correction, one of the most *EMBARRASSING* trailer moments. Seeing Harrison Ford reprising the role at his age is such an embarrassment.

Naughty Little Robot Most EPIC moment ever - that made me excited and hopeful for the Star Wars franchise! THAT'S what it feels like to be excited from a movie trailer! I had seriously thought we were all on our way to never having that feeling again...and then THIS! :*)

I'm not gonna lie..I cried when I saw chewie and Han..the build up, tension, everything was just perfect and I just lost my shit at the end..Star wars and it's community is truly magical..love it!

Kennedy was Smart. She knew Her movies were total Trash because she admitted in her interviews that she Knew nothing about STAR WARS. She was pushing a FEMINIST agenda an she used the popular franchise to Push her Propaganda and Sell that message. The Trailers were the bait and switch because she was betting Fans loyal to George Lucas's universe would be sucked in by their promise. It worked, but only for a short time. I tip my hat
Watching a theatre full of people react to something they so intensely cherish is one of my favourite things to do. Such energy that just sends chills down every limb.

Facts. They should’ve done exactly what Peter Jackson did with Lord of the Rings, had the entire trilogy mapped out, scripts written, shot all 3 movies at the same time and released one per year. It all would’ve been cohesive and seamless. And you could’ve had an over arching story that included Luke, Han, and Leia for each film. Even if Harrison got his wish and finally saw Han die, it would have been in the 3rd movie and in the most bad assed way, sacrificing himself for the greater good, inside the Falcon. Plus, they would’ve had at least one scene with all of them together.
But nope. They blew the perfect layup and made one horrible movie after another.

Just like any Disney product, The Force Awakens was all about pandering to fanboys like this. They couldve set up a great new trilogy where Luke dies in the end sacrificing himself for his new apprentice, Rey and maybe his nephew. But NOOO

I also have to point out the grainy quality your camera gave the trailer made it seem more like my original Star Wars VHS tapes. Funny how a downgrade in quality can actually enhance my nostalgia.

TFA was the best of the sequel trilogy even if it was basically a retread of Episode IV. TLJ and TRoS were absolute garbage! Kathleen really dropped the ball on the whole trilogy not fleshing out the 3 stories beforehand. With the shows on Disney+ they have planned, they can hopefully redeem themselves. _The Mandalorian_ is fantastic!

I have seen the movie and I still get goosebumps from this trailer audience reaction, bloody mindblowing, I wish I was in that arena when this was shown, priceless
And shortly after this, Carrie Fisher died, Peter Mayhew died, Kenny Baker died, and the sequels let people down.

We overestimated Disney's power
And the prequels are the silliest. Worst is when you go into it with high expectations, you are actually sucked into it, and then it's all ruined by bad writing. The prequels came from a place of silliness. They set you up and drop you like a sack of potatoes

8 years later and Disney has all but ruined the Star Wars IP.
Now usually I don't see movies on opening day because the theater is so crowded. But seeing is how this is star wars and the majority of people grew up with these movies, the theater is going to be crowded for weeks. So might as well see it opening day.
I never see movies on opening night, the only movies I've seen opening night are this and and The Avengers. this was so worth it though. as soon as “a long time ago in a galaxy far far away..." came on screen and then the Star Wars logo and the theme started playing...ugh that was such experience and that feeling was so great

And Revenge of the Sith is far better than any of the 5 Disney films thus far
It has better action sequences, a way better John Williams score (might be one of his best in the series)
And better overall story.
