Shows Palpatine is a beloved and hated character in this Saga. " Let the hate flow thru you" Plus Ian is so respected like Alec was as Obi Won. Without those 2 the story would be dull. I see some scene with Anakin popping up. Has to happen.
One thing no one ever mentions, in the quick closeup of Kylo Ren(presumably) inside his TIE interceptor, you can hear an echo of Palpatine in the background, which leads me to the conclusion that the force ghost of Palpatine is going to possess Kylo Ren...

Sorry i just dont get it, i love Star Wars, i think i love it more than most of you tbh and i really dont mean to sound arrogant there, its just im one of the few fans that love the prequels (recognize they have flaws) and can see so much great things about those movies. I love Rogue One and felt that was a great Star Wars movie, but hates TLJ and just thought TFA was okay, mostly a rehash with some nice moments. Im just not feeling anything from this teaser, i dont trust JJ, hes a master at drawing people in, building hype, playing off nostalgia. He recycles old ideas and elements cause he has nothing of his own, he can set up a story but is hopeless at finishing it. The thing with the Star Wars saga is its always been consistent, till now. Now we have JJ coming in and attempting to "fix" things, it feels like with this The Rise of Skywalker movie, most people are hoping JJ will retcon much of what Rian did with TLJ. And yet to me i feel if that is indeed what he is doing then it only proves they basically fucked up monumentally with this sequel trilogy and concluding part to this epic saga in the franchise. It proves they had no idea of where to take it from the beginning, never intended to use anything from the EU and threw out George Lucas' ideas, now it all feels like too little, too late. Ive just lost all optimism now. But y'all hold out for that "hope", because if i do turn out to be wrong about this and JJ makes a great movie here and fitting, satisfying conclusion and ending to this saga, i will be the first one to stand up and admit i was wrong.
