I was literally saying that the other day when I was watching “Mom” on Nick@Nite, the slightest joke would get added in laughter, it was annoying me how many they put it in after a joke was said, it almost makes the jokes less funny 💀 when I noticed it, I couldn’t stop hearing it

I find the laugh track useful because most of the time it's the only way I can tell when a line of dialogue was meant to be a joke. It still doesn't make me laugh, but at least I know this was supposed to be a comedy.

I honestly never expected Zendeya to get that huge after Shake it up when I use to watch on the Disney channel in the early 2010's , the exact same way I didn't expect Ariana Grande to get that big after Victorious

Well if you get a main role in a Disney show and you can sing your gonna go far the Ariana grande was super shocking I didn’t watch nick but i saw a little of Sam and cat and was super annoyed by Ariana but she then stood into the light and blew up.
to be fair I was always a bit annoyed that Ariana didn't get that many moments in the spotlight in Victorious. I didn't like her character, but her singing voice was phenomenal compared to everyone else. I don't listen to her music now but it's undeniable that she has talent.
Didn't expect Zendaya to become as famous as she is now though, but good for her.
I'm still upset at how Disney made me think those outfits in this show _(and other shows)_ were fire. I wanted to dress in clothes like that but now that I'm an adult that can buy clothes, I realize how ugly they are. A Disney outfit on this show is a long sleeved shirt with a spaghetti strap top over it, a skirt with jeans, some either dangly or gigantic belt thing, a lot of bracelets and maybe a glove on one hand and some big clunky boots with *_none_* of the colors matching whatsoever. As I typed this I realize they mostly had outfits like these for the shows where the main character had some sort of performance type role or were famous in some way.
That was so accurate damn🤣

Honestly it was pretty obvious that CeCe was the main character of the show considering they only filmed at her home and mostly focused on her family. We honestly didn't even see Rocky's parants until the 2nd season.
Yeah...rocky was the 2nd main character....yeah and I remember hearing somewhere that originally Zendeya auditioned for the part of Cece jones and passed but she got the part of Rocky Blue instead...idk if it's true or not...

We would buy our own uniforms and the teachers would always find a way to pick out dress code violations. It was the dress code policies that I found irritating like no jewelry or skirt lengths.

For example the umbrella academy had characters explicitly stated as being Swedish when as a Swede, hearing them speak they very obviously weren't. They always play up accents as a joke in places like America even if the accents aren't even accurate.

My “favorite” episode of Shake it Up was the one where Bella Thorne’s character switches bodies with her younger brother, which is incredibly messed up on so many levels if you think about it.

Of course if a character is of certain race the casting should prioritize actors of said race, but at the end of the day if they thought that zendaya was the best fit for the character then that was the right call.

Literally i don’t understand how ppl mess it up. But i like his channel so imma see how long i can handle him mispronouncing her name.
I think it's super easy to mess it up in that way if English isn't your first language and you don't naturally have that accent.
There are many people who assume their natural pronounciation is right and don't think to double check, or just don't care to check actors' names, esp if they aren't fans in particular. But maybe Alex will see these comments and remember.
