Man I would die for this car or a Ferrari 812 Superfast. My 2 dream cars I don’t ask for much I just want one of them either one and my life is complete. Don’t want anything else in the World
There is something about a Bentley that just seems more at home with the needs of a family. Who new a GT could also appeal to keeping a young child happy. The car is quiet, suspension is soft and yet if there is ever an emergency you'll be there in a flash. Who knew, the continent crossing powerhouse is also a luxurious cosy family wagon!
Seems like a totally different driving experience to the GTC4 Lusso. For daily driving, it fundamentally comes down to whether you value driving dynamics over comfort. Given you have the family friendly and bonkers Gemera incoming, I would be inclined to side with the Bentley. Look forward to seeing the next contender.
To be honest, with the Gemera no other car is needed.. it does everything. The only sensible car addition would be a e350d estate or a bmw 540d touring..
I have had both and the Ferrari is the better car. Let's not discuss wether this is meant to be a drivers' car or a comfortable long-distance traveller. The Ferrari is just more solid and well engineered and Ferrari customer service is on a totally different planet to that of Bentley. I love the Bentley marque and I am an old and loyal customer but the company is no longer the venerable, olde English company of yore and the Ferrari is undoubtedly the better car.

You made a good point about the interiors. I’ve been lucky enough to spend some time in both Bentleys and RRs recently and both myself and the drivers agreed the Bentley interior quality is superior. The RRs have plastic removable flimsy cup holders, the leather feels thin and a not on Bentley’s level
you'r the best content creator in youtube your videos always bring joy and knowledge to my life it's always been a great pleasure to watch and the words you said about the interior of this car should be printed and published everywhere. Bentley definitely has the best interior ever in any car
It's a big ugly whale of a car. Nowhere nearly as nice or as dynamically capable as the Bentley, and there are like 1.3 exterior colors to choose from, most of which are shades of grey.
Brilliant as always! As a parent, never underestimate how much leg room you'll need in the back to accommodate a good forward facing child seat, which propels their feet forward horizontally, especially as they grow. We didn't have much spare room in an X5 during that phase. Hope parenthood is going well!
Odd. I have plenty of space for child seats in my “lowly” 3 series touring. Never had any issue with leg space as my daughter got bigger. In fact sitting behind the drivers seat set for my 6ft 1, I still have plenty of legroom.
That’s fair, but the more prominent problem is how well a human being of any age would handle the accelerations this car is capable of, while not being able to see outside. I don’t think I’ve ever been car sick, but I think I would if I were small and stuck in the back of this with zero visibility.
@@mravi97 Very good point! Some kids will not stop crying because they can't see what's happening. I think the Flying Spur or Bentayga is a better option.

@Mr JWW, I have 2 kids and I'm in the same boat as you. I've had a GT3, and now an R8 Plus. I'm currently exploring either a 2017/18 Porsche Panamera Turbo (or Sport Turismo Turbo), Mercedes E63 AMG, Mercedes S63 Coupe, or Audi RS7. Being a couple years old, a nice chunk of that initial depreciation is eaten up already. Although there is still plenty of room for these sedans to come down, it's a much more palatable depreciation to eat while enjoying an amazing car. I too can never see myself buying any of these machines brand new. Admittedly, I'm a Porsche fan boy and I've already owned a Panamera Turbo S in the past, of which was truly an unbelievable daily driver. With the air suspension it would be buttery smooth when the kids were in back, and in Sport Plus it would come down an inch and handle like a Porsche does. Truly an all-around sports sedan. Plus it had all the luxury of high end leather, carbon fiber, Burmester sound, etc etc. It's hard to beat a Panamera Turbo S after a few years of depreciation. Such great value. For context, I owned a 2015 model with 30k miles that had a 240k MSRP, and I drove it for around 12k miles and lost around $8500 for the year in depreciation.

992 Turbo is a daily supercar but it ain't as practical as ferrying your kids around for the first few years with the baby seat He want something for the long-term when the kid can still ride in from baby-sit to pre-school

I think the opposite in terms of styling, the rear styling is fantastic, and the front a bit of a 'challenge'! Agreed on the interior, its a masterpiece, the optional centre display is a must.
As a child, the interior of a car doesn't matter as much as looking out the window. If your son gets a bit older, a car with a lower window would be more fun for him! (That's what I think at least)
I really liked the bronze color which would have looked similar but I agree the black rims really seem to age it. It would be interesting to see what it looks like with "normal" rims and retaining the black accents.
The audio (vs Porsche Turbo S video) is much better thanks to your lapel microphone!... 👍🙏 P.S. That Bentley Continental GT is awesome! It's a very elegant specification... I've always loved that car and the W12 version makes it that much better!..
can´t help but the headlights remind me of my 1998 Toyota Corolla. I am pretty sure that´s what a Bentley owner wants to be reminded of. Well there you go;)
Your son might want to look out of the window because thats whazs interesting and in the bentley the windows are quite small. Especially in the back. And if you go on trips your wife or you might want to sit next to him if he's bored so you can play something.
This is a pretty car and, on paper, it's a most tempting proposition. I've had several of the previous generation of the Continental GT. I've had Speeds and Supersports and I wish I had never sold them. The Continental GT has become a mass-produced and less well put together machine than it's ancestor. My car spent six months at service centres in London and Switzerland and never worked well. It squeaked and rattled and the windows whistled and Bentley were never able to rectify the problem. They were unhelpful and unprofessional and inefficient and three times returned a faulty car and claimed to have rectified the problems. Believe it or not, they even crashed it while it was in their care. This car is quite simply not as well made as one would expect and Bentley service is not at all what it once was. Sorry to disappoint but I was disappointed too.
The reality with a family for trips is all about space and storage - why SUV’s need consideration - Range Rover, Bentayga, X5, Cayenne, hang on you’ve got one already! A daily driver with handling, space & milage - Taycan of course.
Tom Johnson yeah, like how Tyler Hoover swapped his E63 wagon for a Range Rover LWB for that exact reason. Isofix doesn’t necessarily mean the child seats will fit behind the front seats.
Jr WW and your followers would love you to keep the TDF. Don't soften up. You already have an SUV. A DIY "Scooby Doo" Van would be more memorable than a BCGT. :)
In North America a couple year old Bentley that cost 200,000 $ will sell for under 50,000 $ . It will also cost a shit load to repair and maintain . Not what I would call a good investment .
Let’s just get the RS6 ordered and be done with it,perfect car for you James and if for some reason you don’t think it’s enough I’m sure you tune it easily.....just the best car at the best price
I think the next cars to look at is the obvious RS6..., the Porsche Panamera, the AMG GT63 4 door. Potentially a Taycan? Maybe a Maserati grand tourismo? (Not sure about rear seat space though)
It really is... But that Bentley interior.. Sitting in the cabin on a daily basis, that's what I'd want to see. And imo the styling is also more special. But if I leaned even slightly more towards 'sporty', the M8 catches up.
It actually isn’t. When you compare them, the BMW just looks like a play version of this. BMW makes great cars though, but this is about three planets away.

P.S. That Bentley Continental GT is awesome! It's a very elegant specification... I've always loved that car and the W12 version makes it that much better!..
That color mate!!
this car rocks man, i'd love to be able to buy one someday .....
You should test drive the BMW M8 GC 😉
can´t help but the headlights remind me of my 1998 Toyota Corolla.
Great video ! Maserati next please 🤩🔥
Gt 63s 4 Door!
Juan Barazi Would you buy the previous version over the current?
Sounds to me you’re hard selling this to Mrs JWW🤣
😂
The reality with a family for trips is all about space and storage - why SUV’s need consideration - Range Rover, Bentayga, X5, Cayenne, hang on you’ve got one already! A daily driver with handling, space & milage - Taycan of course.
James... have you installed a rear facing child seat in the GTC4 or this and seen whether they actually fit? 😂🤷♂️😏
Tom Johnson yeah, like how Tyler Hoover swapped his E63 wagon for a Range Rover LWB for that exact reason. Isofix doesn’t necessarily mean the child seats will fit behind the front seats.
S63 would be a fun daily James. Fast, luxurious and is much easier to sell at higher mileage than the GTC4 or Bentley.
Is it me all these youtubers been completely out of touch with reality recently
This guy prattling on about his new mega bucks daily driver is embarrassing.
@@hughes3947 Jealous. 😂
Lightning Farron nope.
nope. you’re just poor
Spec’d like only a footballer would order it
GTC4 Luso seemed like loads of more fun, and isn’t a bad place to be in either.
Just saying I wouldn't want to be cleaning your kid's vomit out of the stitching on those seats after a 'dynamic driving adventure' 🤮
That colour is just stunning
I think you need a new mic james
4:27 that look literally blew me away
Jr WW and your followers would love you to keep the TDF. Don't soften up. You already have an SUV. A DIY "Scooby Doo" Van would be more memorable than a BCGT. :)
I agree the back is soft. And my nine year son fit in a 2018 Bentley GTC very well but he wouldn’t be able to do a long ride in the back sits.
My Most Favourite Cars In The World Was Bentley Lots Of Love BELLISSIMO
All that unique luxury to the Bentley and then you hear the sound of a standard audi A4 as you enter the car. Lol
Either this or an M8 Gran coupe would be awesome! 🔥
GT continental is a beauty, looks better than the spur in my opinion.
The M8 competition grand coupe is juste awesome
It really is... But that Bentley interior.. Sitting in the cabin on a daily basis, that's what I'd want to see. And imo the styling is also more special.
But if I leaned even slightly more towards 'sporty', the M8 catches up.
It actually isn’t. When you compare them, the BMW just looks like a play version of this. BMW makes great cars though, but this is about three planets away.
