Well I find that 50% of the people on the road don’t even use turn signals, or don’t see them anyway because they are on their cell phone. Those are the bigger problems.

I chose CRV in 2017 for the use of interior space, safety features, improved comfort and economy. It is our 2nd vehicle used for practical duties. There's a little cabin noise but it handles well, CRT is no problem, (I'm a BMW maniac). Tuscon has a bit more style, but for overall value + dependability (Honda engine) the CRV is the no-brainer small SUV.

I’m in the uk and I have the 4wd manual CRV and it drives excellently for an suv and the manual is slick as per usual with Honda and it obviously isn’t rubber bandy like the cvt instead you get that nice gradual increase in revs like a manual and automatic gives you. Shame they only sell the manual in parts of Europe and the UK and personally the uk version of the crv looks much nicer than the one you reviewed the bumper shapes are too boxy and have too much plastic on them. Hyundai looks nice aswell but I just love the driver engagement and reliability of Honda. Excellent video 👍🏻🙌🏻

Very interesting & surprising comparison review. I would have thought that this New 4th gen.' Tucson would have had a better result over the Honda CR-V, because it's a completely New vehicle. But the Tucson's engine stalling on your hill-climb test was very disappointing to me as a current Hyundai Tucson owner! I would almost buy a New CR-V instead of Tucson if I were ready to trade my 2019 Tucson in for a New model. But I love my Tucson Ultimate top-line! You have shown me that Hyundai still has more to do in development in order for Tucson to be able to compete or surpass the performance & driveability of Honda CR-V! Thank you very much for this comparison Review my friend!

You have to remember that the Tucson is an imitation of the CRV. The dimensions are exactly identical. It's Hyundai's attempt to compete with the CRV. With the reliability issues Hyundai has in Korea which I found out recently, I'm very happy I went with the CRV.

    • @asianstud7

@@asianstud7 Engine oil leak, over excessive carbon deposits due to poor piston head and ring design, engine shutoff during driving, excessive engine vibrations, unintentional acceleration, water leakage and absolutely terrible customer service. Apparently, you drive much faster in that Tucson and I don't see a video of going through the same ramps as the CRV does. The only cornering video of Tucson was on a much rougher road. Also, I'm more interested in the structure of the suspension to see if there's any difference. On paper, Tucson should have better handling. Of course, the tire rating and width also play a big part in traction.

The CRV is dated. It has 70 year old driver written all over it. Honda is way too conservative when they re design a vehicle. Oh, and another thing, 5 year 60 thousand warranty and 10 year 100 thousand power train. Hyundai all the way!

I wish for a bigger fuel tank ... I wish for a new design of the steering wheel, which is cut from the bottom like an Audi steering ... I wish for two seats in the back..the third row..I wish much stronger air conditioning ... and cooled seats ... I hope for a full extraction of the seats like a Ford Expedition ..

@@kymgrowden was at my mechanics shop when a lady pulled in with an Elantra that was barely 5 years old with a laundry list of issues. Anyway the under side had so much rust I was in shock as there was a 13 year old BMW with 180K miles on it whose bottom side looked like it just came off the assembly line. My mechanic said this is normal for a Hyundai. As he proceeded to pry the wheels off the hub to get at the brakes. It had seized! He shrugged and said you get what you paid for. Great Infotainment system but can't say the same rest of the car
