Only in a small town or rural area, where everyone knows each other. In a city, where people don't know their neighbors, women who have been with more than 20 guys can fake having been with only one or two guys in their lives, and you will never know because city dwellers don't know each other's past.

When I met / started dating my now ex, who was a naive Peruvian immigrant, I would say, “Im going to do XYz, if you want to come along... “ And she went along and ALWAYS had a great time. Then after getting her degree and getting Westernized and having kids, she declared I was controlling, etc. no. I was still doing the same thing and she could still join me or not. I contend that women are inherently unhappy creatures. Now I know I'm speaking in generalities, but it seems to be more true than not. Women just seem to be constitutionally incapable of finding happiness within themselves, which is where men have a leg up on women, in a manner of speaking.
I don't know very many women who understand that happiness is something you have to self-generate; to practice, not find by having it come to you externally in the form of things. A husband, children, a good job that pays well, a new car, and so on and on, won't make you happy.
Men understand this better than women, for the simple reason that the vast majority find ourselves on our own and in poverty mode for a time (at least) after we leave home. You know the time: when women least want anything to do with us.
Women have innate assets that they can parlay into a man taking care of them, and generally speaking, they do so like a video game, leveling up with each new man.
The disturbing thing I noticed in the '70s was that too many women are jealous of men, and not just a "penis envy" kind of thing. The late '70s is when women began to use the coercive power of the Government and law to prevent men from having male-only spaces. Locker rooms, gyms, work...in short, any place were males gathered and did male stuff, women perceived and suspected that men were happy without women, and put a screeching halt to that sh*t.
Effectively, women derived satisfaction from preventing men from being happy.
But they didn't stop there. Collectively and individually, women married men, tried to change them into girlfriends, destroyed them emotionally, took all their assets (including children and pets) and moved on to another man, to do the same thing all over again. With half of all marriages ending in divorce, and women filing 70-80 percent of the time, it's rampant and widespread.
Is it any wonder men don't want to get married?

After I started dating my first real girlfriend in college I realized I was probably just next in line. She didn't take me too seriously when we started dating and I finally put my foot down with her. For 2 1/2 years things were really good and we were also talking about our future together. She had gone back to college to change degrees and then things started to change for the worst. She started " hanging out" with people from her classes but never got a straight answer on if these people were guys or girls. She finally slipped up one evening and told me she went out as friends with a guy. After she realized what she had done she tried to back track her story. I knew at that moment it was just my turn. I broke up with her because she wanted to continue her friendship with the guy. She had an absolute fit if a girl even looked or smiled in my direction. She ended up marrying the guy 3 months later. About 9 years after that she found me on an early form of social media and wanted to get back together even though she was married. I told her no and got rid of that account.

My wife of over 20 years was from a 2nd generation filipino family in the San Francisco Bay area. They were a very traditional family. The children were sheltered from bad influences, they went to Catholic schools, no make up, no dating, every weekend was family events and church. Very good people. She spent the bulk of her time with her grandparents who both passed about a year ago. Then two months ago on 1/5/24 my wife unexpectedly passed in her sleep. An electrical heart issue.
I'll probably never date or marry again, I'm 57 now and I'd probably always compare any woman to my wife which wouldn't be fair to anyone. She had the looks (solid 9+, not blowing smoke, she really was, she was 52 and looked 30), the temperament, the kindness, the laughter, the gentle nature, a woman in the best connotation of the word. She always laughed at my stupid dad jokes and usually doled out big hugs and kisses after each stupid joke. She rescued animals, I had a heck of a time keeping her from feeding our neighborhood rodents in the winter.
She was a feeder, nobody left her house hungry, usually had to-go bags of food when they left. Finally, she was a mother. She had been told from a young age that she couldn't have children because of her heart issues. But after years of good health and a pacemaker/defibrillator the doctor gave her the green light. You wouldn't believe the hoops this lady jumped through for the chance to have a baby. She told me that the only thing missing from her life being complete bliss was a baby. The kid never had a chance to doubt that he was loved with all the hugs, kisses and tons of food, but she'd crack his rear to keep him on the straight and narrow. Now it's up to me to finish that job.
If you are a traditional man who would treat a lady well then I'd recommend checking out the traditional parts of this culture. Be respectful, don't be the typical arrogant jerk westerner. Study the culture ahead of time and act accordingly. There are still some small pockets of this culture in the US but they're fading fast. Not for everyone but it sure worked out for me.

Hypergammy is true fact of life. It is definitely the social standard in the usa. To all the men here dreaming of a pea for yourself. Once you bring her here and once she integrates to this culture she will be no different just another western woman. I personally seen it with other relationships. Married to a Filipina that is very westernized (20 years) I have an inside look that pea doesn't see YET.
She will once or if ever she moves to west full-time. This doesn't happen over night the absorption into western life. I still see parts of her that are truly Filipino but I see how she changed too.
So men beware when she gets to the US she will find that elevator eventually just make take her a little time to navigate the new store.

And she was the shy bookish type, but obviously overly anxious.. but that's all young women. Tried dating a second time a couple years after that, but she was only into hypergamy. Let me know on the first date, which was cool at least.Tried a third time by my late 20s, but by then the only girl I met and like was at 100+, so once again I walked away. Then I stopped dating for 10 years till now. So if you know someone as chaste as to have only been with 26 guys, let her know I'm interested.

Exactly. I was recently dating my friend's daughter who is 20 years younger than me. I would remind myself from time to time "She's not mine. It's just my turn." Then one day, out of nowhere, she started acting aggravated with me for no reason and hinted that maybe she isn't in a place where she should be dating right now. So, I said let's end it and she agreed (but was polite enough to pretend to be very sad about it). I felt nothing. In the past I would have been upset because there was an ego boost in dating a woman so much younger than me.

Thank you, Pea for telling it like it is. I dated a lady ten years ago. She has two kids, at that time her daughter was 17 and her son was 24. Her kids were from two different ex's. (A red flag I should've acknowledged) After seeing this lady for a year, she ghosted me. No rhyme, no reason, no closure. I was left with nothing but a lesson to be learned. She was never mine, it was just my turn. Today I am no longer the guy who gets rejected, I am now the guy that women wish they can get. Western women (not all) can be a piece of work. I'm more aware of this now. And Pea, I like how you quoted Joyce Meyer, whose sermons I listen to everyday. Thank you, once again Pea for your content, which is informative and intelligent.

The one thing I would say about to this point would be this is why more and more men - regardless of background, creed or color - are simply throwing their hands up and making the conscious decision NOT to find a female companion. Too much competition, too much investment of time and money with a dissatisfactory return on said investment. The great irony is that more and more women are complaining that men no longer pursue them now... #humansaremad

Pea, you have outdone yourself. The wisdom in this presentation would normally takes years of painful experiences to acquire. It is so valuable and easy to follow it should be mandatory for every 18 year old guy anywhere to view before taking the first plunge with the opposite sex, not just those seeking a Filipina girl.

Where it leaves us guys? Intensely relaxed about having a woman in our lives. If she's there - fine. If she's not there - fine. If she's interested - cool, she can tag along for a bit until she - or the guy - gets bored. If she's not interested - cool, we'll carry on anyway.

You know what Pea, if I've never ever watched any of your TH-cam channels I'll be very confused to believe that you were born in America lol. Because you are extremely wise beyond your years extremely educated with knowledge and research and just gifted with plenty of Common Sense about life. I concur with everything you sentiment on this channel in every other channel that you created from the beginning. God bless you Sister!!!

I highly recommend a workbook question- answer type of marriage counseling before marriage. Turn in that required workbook and let the marriage counselor expert evaluate know about you and your mate, then learn if you are a right person to get married.

One of the questions ask on the marriage counselling that we separately answered was… “number from 1 to 10 what is priorities and important in your relationship.” Another “Does submitting to your love one important to you?”… another “What is the meaning of husband should love their wife?”… another what do you think of your spouse-to-be family?

    So true Mrs Pea!
And the list of girls get so much smaller closer to the wall! I have seen it time after time: the good men are left behind, the "top-notch" guys all the girls want but they don't want to settle with them. I thank God for opening my brother's eyes and leaving those women with a lot of baggage with their cats.

To tell you the truth, I dated a Filipina a little over 2yrs ago. It didn't work out, but mainly because she had trust issues from past husband and boyfriend. Even now I still kick myself for letting her go. We were great together. Only afterwards did I discover your channel. I've learned more from listening to you and have learned much about the different culture. Just wish I would've discovered you sooner lol. Thanks for all you do Pea. Still searching for my Filipina.

I very much appreciate your videos and commentary. I will make this note though. A feminist is not someone who feels they don't need a man....who doesn't want a door opened for them... who wants to go it alone.....etc....etc. Gloria Steinem has this definition: A feminist is anyone who recognizes the equality and humanity of all people.

Excellent one Pea. I have also researched this subject myself over the years and found the same facts. Men often get labelled as the "bad" gender, when they are not 'badder' or better, just wired different. Thank you for bringing this to attention.❤

I love this video. Outstanding comparative discussion. My wife was a Province girl who never asked what I did for a living, and she never asked how much money I made, and she didn't care if I didn't have a 6-pack. However, I did have confidence which is impossible not to have with my history. I was dependable, respectful, caring, and supportive. Most important to her in my opinion is feeding and breeding. Cover those bases with your average Filipina and you are home free for a long relationship. You made another good point of discussion. Am I renting a Filipina woman, or owning her? I could be renting. I was not the first, and will probably not be the last. I'm much older, so she may have other opportunities in the future. I have no problem with this -- that's life. I found that Filipinas are much more down-to-earth and realistic about life than Western Women who are on some other alien planet. In the Philippines, I have to pull back on the throttle, chill out, and listen to her. Her Philippine culture is very different, so I just follow along for the ride and do what she says. It kind of works out real nice. This is NOT the U.S.

Not yours just your turn is very accurate in most cases. When settling down with someone, people should be thinking long term. Think 20 years from now, will she still be with you? If not your life might be destroyed.

In all the years I've spent visiting Phil, on dating sites, and chatting with hundreds of Filipinas, I've never heard a single one say confidence was a substitute for money. I also think bad guys are usually more confident than good ones. You don't address women who encourage men to cheat or girls that start a family without getting married. How about something more simple: we all want the best deal we can get? That would mean happiness and fidelity depend on reasonable expectations, good communication, and honesty, rather than gender driven tendencies or stereotypes. That said, you make a good case. Thanks for another the great video! 👍

Local female radio host declared that she was inspired by the image of a strong independent single mother from a movie when she was a kid. She always wanted to be like that character. Now she is a proud and strong single mother of two boys and she has made it. She declared that she had become that strong woman she admired, her voice steely and boisterous as if she is fighting the world all by herself.
I could not help but to think what she left unsaid, and probably actively refuses to admit that it wasn’t all her. Behind that boisterous declaration is a man, the father of the children, who has paid child support, most likely lost his home to her, and might even pay alimony. She gets support from the government, the child care she got is essentially free after tax deductions, and the child support is also free and clear. She pays no tax for that. The government also sends money to her for every child monthly. Yet she claims the heroic mantle all by herself. Single mother. Parenting is important but especially boys suffer without their fathers, and she is one of billions of mothers on this planet. It is not a special job, or an exceptional achievement to be a female with children. It most certainly is not some kind of goal in life to be a single mother. Can’t help but to think what kind of crap the dude had to deal with. Actually, I do know.
