@thefilipinapea THANK YOU for using your voice and platform for good and bringing this to the light. Much respect. Please keep up the great work and let your light shine
This video was tough to watch so I know it was incredibly tough to make. Takes a lot of courage to confront the dark sides of our nations and take responsibility for bringing it to light. Much respect, Pea.
Sadness... This is a world epidemic... in my heart I want this to stop... The bottom level of Hell is not deep enough. I wish all poverty to be cured.. Much love to you beautiful Pea...your in my prayers
WOW..... I can imagine the editing. Prayers for you. On a side note the administration here puts people offended by someone not using their pronoun choice for the day on Social Security disability and pays them by the month as well as bonuses every few months. The claim they suffer from PTSD... and get more money than military vets who faced combat. Thing is the pronoun people are usually pedophiles.... so the govt is paying them not to work but dedicate their time to their..... U know... @@TheFilipinaPea
I am a fan of your videos and I commend you on making this one in particular . As a father and grandfather I could not watch it in its entirety. All our nations have a dark side to our contemporary and past life. The truth is that evil exists everywhere. My late wife who would never spoke ill of anyone said " We are all capable of gross evil" and at the time I did not think that was true, however a few years later I saw how good people can do the most horrible things. For us by standers or victims it is our duty to call out such evil. If we are not part of the solution we are part of the problem. Kudos to you Pea.
I'm 70 years old. I have 4 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. This made me cry. It turned my stomach. Thank you for shining a light on this awful activity.
@@BasedAussie79I think the comment is referring to people outside the predators who don’t do anything to stop them. Like the far left people in America who “cancelled” a movie revealing child abduction because the movie producers were right wing Christians.
I’m not ashamed to admit that this made me cry. As a traditional man I would give my life to protect a child, and it kills me to see this abuse to innocent and helpless children. We owe the men and women of law enforcement a huge debt of gratitude, as I couldn’t do that job. Rough video pea, but important. Thanks for shedding light on it.
When isee cute toddlers I wanna hug and kiss em. Tue way I was hugged and kissed when I was a little boy. When I hear about people doing this it's very depraved and sad for these little kids
Even kissing a baby like parents do makes me feel uncomfortable. Even it's not abuse it feels like I am abusing them. So how they can they can do as much as they do I can't even understand. And if I had the money and house I'd happily take all the kids in and give them a safe and happy home to grow up in.
I couldn't agree more as a father and a grandfather this really ripped my heart out. For the children and law enforcement. The mental health has to be devastating.
@@TheFilipinaPeaI didn't want to up-vote this, because I don't want even THAT tangential association with it. I decided to vote it up and leave this comment because to do otherwise is to give the impression that it can BE ignored. This kind of thing has been haunting my nightmares ever since I was part of a rescue mission "for a couple dozen local orphans" 30 years ago. Only the numbers were MUCH higher, and the kids were NOT local orphans. So it was political kryptonite, and got shuffled into the "never happened" bin. Like hell it didn't! I saw a little boy (Sweedish?), maybe 8 or 9, try and slit his own throat AFTER we rescued him. His legs had been broken, and re-healed he had been there so long 😢 I've seen first-hand what muslims do to kids, when given half a chance, and what ignoring this shit lets KEEP happening.
We need more attention to this matter. I'm very thankful for videos like this and for movies like "The Sound of Freedom."I'm heartbroken over these kids and absolutely devastated that the parents are the ones selling them. 💔 Horrible! 😢
Thank you for saying the cause is NOT poverty! I'm dealing with a family right now who may be in the streets by the weekend. The past five years has been incredibly hard for them. The love for their family is everything! No way would this ever be a consideration.
It's not just the Philippines, it's worldwide and we all have a part to play in ending this by supporting law enforcement and reporting it to our local authorities
Exactly. It’s a major problem in all the 3rd world countries. It’s actually not as bad in the Philippines as it is in other countries such as the Dominican Republic and some other Caribbean countries.
yup.. if you don't fix the poverty, you will NEVER fix the problem. you can make all the videos you want about this stuff, it has already been covered by lisa ling and cambodia is way worse.. the raids and shut downs don't really help because someone else takes their place immediately. it's unfortunate but half the human population lives on $1 a day.. if you fix that, then you will fix the problem.
I am so grateful that Pea is showing this. Thisbis happening all over the world and it needs to be addressed as it is. Abuse! Crime! No child should be subjected to this! May all of them be safe.🙏🙏🙏
This is sad. Tragically it’s a worldwide epidemic.😢 As a single man who doesn’t have children, but wishes he did. It makes me sick and just furious when people do this or any other vile thing to their kids.🤬😭💔
And my concern is how many in law enforcement(pick any country) know what’s going on, but they’re corrupt as hell or browbeaten by corrupt superiors and are forced to turn a blind eye?😢
Hi, why do you think we have an epidemic of this now? Is there some kind of data which suggests this? I dont know any cases at this point, but I knew one 25 years ago. The little girl was taken from her family back then, that is how I came across to that story. That was far the worst case I knew about.
@@gergelycsuros2051 Huh? This happens all the time, everywhere. It's NOT NEW. This has been going on for CENTURIES and in almost every country on every continent since Columbus.
Thank you, You are AMAZING! You are a TRUE Journalist and Documentarian: normally your videos are fun but always truthful and to the point; the world needs more people like you!
As an American living in the Philippines I am so sad to hear about this problem and disgusted that there are men who would do this to children. It breaks my heart for these poor children who are betrayed by their own mothers. I hope they lock up everyone who is involved and throw away the key.
If you know anything about the justice ( lack of ) in The Philippines I would doubt if due diligence was given to the prosecutors . I wonder how much sympathy and punishment was given to the guilty mothers because they were poor Filipinos .
@@GaryAa56 he said that. "It breaks my heart for these poor children who are betrayed by their own mothers. I hope they lock up everyone who is involved and throw away the key."

Thank you, Pea. As hard as this video was to watch, I'm sure it must have been harder to make. Please know that by sharing this painful material, you are helping kids like the ones in the video, and making it harder for this behavior to continue. Please take good care!💕
Hey Pea … looks like you have finally found your calling! I have loved following you, you are so cute and entertaining but this documentary knocked it out of the park! YOU are truly doing something to actually make a difference! This is extremely touching and heartbreaking to know that this is going on in your country! Only a super strong and caring person would put themselves out there to tackle such a topic! Just WOW … good job!
Thank you, Pea. It's important that you highlight these kinds of crimes, also that we foreigners can do something about it when we hear of cases or other foreigners who wish to harm kids.
Well done Pea, you are doing a great job. I’m traditional man and seeing this sunk my heart and made my eyes water. Even if we can’t stop this happening completely,at least we can try. Every little helps. I like your channel and respect your work … Thank you
Heartbreaking, despicable...words fail!!! I agree with you, Pea, poverty is not the reason, it's their excuse. It's about greed and profit in the most callous way. Bless you for not shying away from shining the light into the darkest of places.
Despite how you must feel Pea, this is an important video for everyone who loves and cares about the well-being of children in the Philippines and around the world. Being a good citizen and a great TH-camr means doing videos that makes your audience think and feel even to uncomfortable topics, since most people are decent and well meaning, this video will go far. Great work Pea, stay strong we all have your back
Thank you Pea for bringing this to everyone's attention. As a parent of two kids two young children I can't imagine betraying their trust. You are 100% accurate, there are other ways to make/get money... You don't need to damage your most prized possession for something so temporary
Hi Pea, these woman who sell their kids should never get out of prison until their youngest child is over 18. reunification with an abuser is just insane. I hope for all the best for all the kiddos in the Philippines.
Pea, you should get some sort of award for this episode. You're a hero! I'm proud of you for making this very troubling video. I could see how hard it was for you, but you did a great thing by exposing this.
Thank you so much for bringing this sad and tragic topic to the spotlight, Pea. This was VERY hard to watch, but I felt I had to. PLEASE keep doing all the good work that you do, Pea.
Thank you for addressing this subject, Pea. Parents selling their own children to sexual preditors is about as low as it can get. Mind you, here in Belgium we have also been seeing cases of pedophelia over the last few decades, but they were without the consent of the parents. Decades ago we were confronted with a couple (man and woman) who kidnapped children, locked them up in their celler, abused and killed them. More recently many pedophelia cases within the Catholic Church have been reported that happened fourty or fifty years ago. The victims are now retired men who were raped by priests when they were little boys in boarding school. One of the child abusers is a bishop who even abused his own nephew. The request to take away his titles is presently on the Pope's desk, but he doesn't seem to be in a hurry to react. Church authorities have been covering up for these people for such a long time. We recently had a whole television documentary here in Belgium addressing nothing but child abuse by priests, brethern and nuns. I saw the documentary and it was really disgusting! It also caused thousands of Belgian Catholics to send formal requests to be deleted from the baptismal records. So this is not only a problem in the Philippines. I addressed this problem a few years ago already in the first episode of my TH-cam series "7 Amazing Tales of the Philippines" in which I testified how a Filipino in Makate offered his 14 year-old daughter to me for sex. It was an experience that I will never forget. That episode was entitled "My first encounter with poverty" and I remember you left a comment, Pea. I think all vloggers should unite in condemning this behaviour, both for the parents who do this to their own children as well as to the foreign preditors.
Yes, the catholic church is very guilty. Thousands of abuse cases in the US and probably millions worldwide. The catholic church should not be able to collect donations in the Philippines. When/if that happens, the catholic church will pull out of the Philippines and the country will be much better for it.
The equally disgusting part to your story is the guy who tried to sell his daughter for sex, felt he stood a chance because of the number of foreign men who travel to the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam etc. for the expressed purpose of paying for sex with children. Of course they always frame it as “I love the people and culture of Thailand that’s why I go there every year for a month.”
Thank you for putting this out there, the more awareness about the issue the safer the innocent. They can't speak up so creating an awareness on your platform speaks volumes for those that can't😢.
Ms. Pea this is a great video and I’m glad you showed it. I was in the Philippines 🇵🇭 in 1979 in olongapo aboard a naval vessel. There was a mile of bars and brothels right outside the gate on the other side of the bridge. We had one sick person aboard our ship that was found to be having sex with a 12 year old girl I personally didn’t see them together but many others did. We pulled out for more patrols and we saw this individual in what we referred to as the “clap” line he was reported to the master at arms and he got VD for his pedophile actions. I heard his penalty was the brig until we reached the mainland USA where he was turned over to the authorities for prosecution. I don’t know what if anything happened to him here in the United States but the young girl was taken away from her parents who owned a bar In olongapo. Tragic. You are amazing for what you do. Keep up the good work. 🌹🌹🌹
This is both tragic and infuriating, and you are very brave to bring visibility on your channel. Thank you for enduring the pain and difficulty in bringing this to light.
Thank you for sharing Pea. So much of this goes on in less developed countries but it goes on in well developed countries too. I find like you find it very hard to fathom parents doing this to their children but ,unfortunatley there is all kinds of evil around us.
So sad. Unreal. Unfortunately it's all over the world. Thanks to everyone involved that bring this to light. Stacey doyley is from luton. Where I live . Well done 👏
Thanks for bringing this problem to light for us. And please continue informing your audience not only about fun sides of Philippines or potential issues for us, but also about such dark sides of life in Philippines. Most of men that come to Philippines are normal and adequate, and if we can do something to solve such a problem - we have to do it together.
This is something that absolutely makes my blood boil. Whether it’s what you’d call “typical” human trafficking (HUGE during events like the Super Bowl here in the US) or this, mothers selling their own children for Pennies, the punishment they truly deserve is not TH-cam friendly.
The amount of vulnerable children born into poverty, with low moral parents is disturbing. There needs to be child protection and services to remove children who are at danger.
Good on you Pea for taking the time to bring this to everyone's attention. It is not easy bringing to dark side of one's nation into the light, but you have done a very good thing bringing this documentary to your channel for us. Stay awesome.
Poverty can make people do despicable things. It plays out all over the world. Its a vicious cycle. You put the parents in jail and the kids are left on their own. Then again you got those that are just evil.
My God!!! My blood boiled and ran cold at the same time watching this! Whenever I see videos or documentaries on things like this, it just breaks my heart and I want to reach out to help these kids, but feel so helpless at the same time. Thank you Pea for sharing this video and your thoughts on this. A bigger shout out to all the men and women working to bring these demons to justice. I makes me sick to my stomach knowing their are human beings that walk this world like this. ❤And like you, I feel and pray there is a VERY special place in the hottest part of Hell for filth like this.
Pea, your passionate plea for this horrendous behavior to stop is so heartbreaking. I know how much you love your country. Every video I have watched from you had always been with an eye to telling the truth about the Philippines and to help viewers understand how great it CAN be if you are prepared. Today's video, is the your most impactful video to date. It still show the Philippines in a good light because you are here passionately speaking out against this complete evil. You are telling the truth even if it looks bad on the country you love. That is hard and easy at the same time. I am so glad you took the chance to make this video. Your empassioned plea for the country to be better and expose these horrible preditors for what they are is hopefully something that kickstarts the mission for change. Thank you for making this, i know it wasnt easy.
Thank you for this episode. Not everything is sunshine and giggles. My heart breaks for these children, not just of the abuse but because of the Stokholm syndrome at the sight of their mother's being arrested.
The people who are asking are sick and the people who are offering are dealing with their own reality. This is a very troubling video to see, but I am glad that you brought it forward your audience Pea. I cannot even imagine the lifelong trauma that the children will endure after having suffered from the sick manifestations of the strangers, and much worse, the greed of the parents wanting to make a buck (peso) off of their own children that they should protect at all costs. This is downright despicable. I applaud your courage Pea for bringing this to light.
@@TheFilipinaPea I wonder how many of the parents were themselves abused? It is not an excuse for doing this to their own children, but it may be a partial explanation - and show the importance of stopping it in every generation.
This was the one channel that I never thought would bring tears to my eyes. I was wrong. Thank you so much for standing up for the kids in the Philippines and getting this story out there, Pea.
Hi Pea, this is a sad problem all over the world. I saw a video about this earlier. Thank you from bringing this to light. Don't appologize for your rant. This rips my heart out to see. There are foundations like the Tim Tebow Foundation that rescues these children from such horrbile life. He actually has a home in the Philippines for these children. Sending a virtual (hug). You have a dear heart and thanks for posting this!
It’s really interesting you did an episode on this topic Pea. I watched a movie this past weekend called The Sound of Freedom similar to what you show is happening in the Philippines which is based on a true event taken place in South America and it’s very sad what children are being kidnapped and sold into trade. We have to protect kids at all cost and never keep quiet to this horror. Thank you for shedding light on this topic!
My heart hurts for these innocent children, they will most likely never live a normal life as an adult. As adults we are responsible to protect the children of the world anyway that is needed. Ms. Pea, thank you for bringing awareness to this despicable crime and I pray many philipinos will see this video and go into action to stop this abuse. Tons of accolades to the people trying to make a difference for the children.
Thanks for posting this. I had seen it before. I had sent it to my sister-in-law as she runs a very well respected nonprofit for victims of human trafficking in the Orlando, FL area. Their success stories are getting victims out of human trafficking and reintegration into society. Her organization got the financing for a movie and hired a producer for the human trafficking fictional movie starring Dean Cain(Superman movies) as the cop working with human trafficking authorities. It was based on my sister-in-law's nonprofit working with local sheriffs, police chiefs and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. My sister-in-laws role was a compilation of 3 characters because of how much she does.
@@TheFilipinaPea I accidentally found out about this video when I was watching a video about prisons in the Philippines. They talked about women selling their kids to pedophiles so I googled it and found the documentary. It surprised me that it was in the Philippines because in the 1990s and into the 2000s this was big business for boys in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam and for young girls in Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Columbia and Venezuela. I have vacationed in the DR and Mexico many times with a gf and saw fat slobs with these little girls. This was very prevalent even on the beach in the DR. In Cuba twice I went on humanitarian boat deliveries of goods and we were met on the docks by very young girls. We were not there for girls. Parents had them do this as one encounter was greater than one month's salary. You may have noticed that some of the male foreign vloggers have spent time in those countries for the younger girls. Right now I have a dilemma as I know 100 percent that one foreign vlogger was with a 17 year old 11th grade girl in the Philippines in October and will return to the Philippines right before her 18th birthday. The parents approve and he is much older. I have no doubt that this has occurred before with this guy. What would you do?
Miss Pea, I want to thank you for doing this video. It is a very difficult subject to breach. Nobody wants to think about this subject matter for any length of time, because it is very hard to imagine humans can be so horrible. The unfortunate truth is it is way too common.. I have been supporting Veterans for child rescue for a few years and they recently got a movie produced here in the states that highlights the problem. I am committed to working against the sort of people. Love what you do. Thank you, Paul
Thank you for shedding a light on this issue Pea. It is sad to say that this topic did not surprise me. While it is sickening and sad to think about this actually happening, it is something that has become way too common of an occurrence in this world we are living in. I applaud you for showing this and giving your thoughts on it. I wish I could help others stop such unimaginable things from happening to children in these situations, but I do not have the temperament for it. I would not be able to keep myself from beating the parents senseless. Always love all your videos. This one was definitely a different subject than you usually touch on. Thanks again for sharing it. It’s important that everyone becomes more aware of such terrible atrocities and gets involved to stop this from happening. God bless you Pea. And God help this sick world 🙏
Thanks for covering this Pea! I try to bring awareness about this to everyone I meet. Operation Underground Railroad, Polaris Project and International Justice Mission are all good charities
Add ZOE International. Director is retired LAPD officer and pastor working in SE Asia to not just bring perpetrators and traffickers to justice, but also to help the victims to recover from the atrocities they have experienced.
There was absolutely no need for you to apologize for your rant, Pea. On the contrary, you should be praised and applauded for it. As you stressed over and over, this perverse, disgusting child abuse has to be stopped! Thank you for shining a light into the darkness! 👍❤
This breaks my heart that children are abused like this, and what makes it even worse is that they are betrayed by the very ones who they trust to keep them safe. There is no excuse for any of this, it only exposes the depravity of the human heart. I hit the like button, not because i actually enjoyed the content but because hopefully by shining the light on this practice it will help to put a stop to it. Unfortunately this despicable and disgusting behavior goes on around the entire world. I didn't think it possible to be both enraged and broken hearted at the same time but I am.
It makes me so sad to see that this goes on in the world but it makes me happy to know that there are people who want to help. I'm glad you covered this issue. It's actually very near and dear to my heart as I've worked for state prosecutors and so got to see some of the truly horrible things that go on in the world that most people don't see. I'm glad that you have brought this into the light at least because the first step to fixing this and saving people who are being sold and/or trafficked is for people to know that this is unfortunately going on in our world. Then we can at least take steps. Will we get all the scum that perpetrate these deeds? No. But hopefully we can get enough of them. Every life saved makes a difference.
On behalf of all the people force to allow these sex offenders to reamin living. My sincerest apologies. I certainly hope registered offenders are black listed and not allowed to travel freely. Ive never needed to know anything about those restrictions or regulations. They should be stopped BEFORE departure. Thanks for sharing Ms Pea. A horrible subject we all need to be aware of. 👊
Pea, it's unfortunate. Child abuse is a world problem now. This was tough to watch and I had tears. Thank you for airing this, it is important that every person speak out about it.
This truly brought tears to my eyes and drives me crazy seeing these atrocities happening to defenceless children. I went and saw the movie " The sound of freedom" which it also made me cry. I just can't understand why people do this to children and especially their own children, it is sickening and knowing this is not just happening in one part of the world but everywhere is so sad and I pray that it will all stop someday soon.
I agree with your "rant" viewpoint... never the children! 😢. Thank you for sharing this with us. I had no idea to what extent this went. So tragic and horrible. 🙏 Praying for the victimized children.
Thank you for helping raise awareness by posting this video. More people need to realize that human trafficking of children occurs sll over the world; and not just in the Philippines. I recommend watching _"The Sound of Freedom"_ as well. The people who traffic these children, as well as those who abuse them, need to be held accountable. They're monsters! Children are helpless. They rely on adults for everything. To betray their trust is truly evil!
The evil people are capable of us absolutely unreal, as a father of 5 kids, I can't imagine putting them in harms way like this. Thank you for the courage it took to post this video. Nobody wants to acknowledge the dark side of our world, but this needs to be brought more to light.
Great Job Pea on this informative video keep up the great work you do. Hopefully more people take this information and is encouraged to say something if they see something like this happening. I’ll be watching got your next informative video post.
Thank you so much for doing a video, on such a horrible problem. Not only in the Philippines but around the world. Like you, I couldn't be on a team like this. My emotions would get the best of me and I wouldn't be able to control myself. I pray, these children, these innocent be protected. Thanks again Pea for this video. ❤️
Awesome job Pea on making and keeping people aware of what is continuing to take place in many countries. Predator's beware!! We're watching for you!!!
Hello Pee, it very courageous of you to break away from the lighter tone of your other videos. I knew of the problem but it is heart wrenching to see it exposed.
This perverted behavior is sadly ubiquitous. The only difference is the Philippines, unlike other countries (including the United States), has far less resources available for prevention, prosecution, & rehabilitation of innocent child victims. It's important that you spotlighted this horror & are spreading awareness through your YT channel. Thank you Pea.
Even the U.S. doesn’t have the resources to effectively deal with this. This issue is far bigger than most people realize. There are 100,000 to 300,000 underàge s3x workers in the US (most forced into it). Here is the even more disturbing thing to think about, say they have 100 different male “clients” a year (and we all know that number is definitely much higher). How many guys are involved in this? That’s at least 10 to 15 million men Also, about 1 in 4 (some estimates are 1 in 3) females are s3xual assaulted in their lifetime and most never go into s3x “work”. Most also experienced the àssault underáge. Again, here is the most disturbing thing about this, that most are àssaulted by a famíly member. That’s 1 OUT OF EVERY 4 (possibly 1 out of 3), so how many men does that mean? Now take those two numbers and put them together? 10 million and 1/3, take away any overlap and it’s still at least 25 to 50 million men in the US. Think about that next time someone says they are disgusted by this activity. It’s not a small problem and likely this means most guys are attracted to any female that has a developed female figure (without concern for age) but that while most don’t act on it far too many do (and these numbers mean, these are people you very likely know but will not admit it to you: fathers, brothers, cousins, friends…). I know, I’m wrong right? Ok, based on the numbers how many guys do you think it is? Here are some of the numbers: 100,000 to 300,000 underagè victíms sold for s3x in the US each year. Víctims see from 5 to 20 Johns a day on an average. (Whereas, adult wømen that willing prostítute themselves will have 5 a day to as low as less than than 1 a day. There is a big difference between being førced to do it and willing doing it in terms of numbers of Johns a day) 12to14: The average age at which gírls first become victíms of prostitutíon. 55%: The percent of gírls living on the streets in the US that are engaged in prostitution. (Approximately 2.5 million chiłdren/teenś are homełess annually in the United States.) 30%: The proportíon of youth living in shełters who are s3xually exploíted. (According to the most recent federał data, there are currently more than 400,000 underagè teenś and chiłdren in shelters today). 75%: The proportíon of gírls engaged in prostitution who have a pímp. $150,000to$200,000: The amount the average pímp makes ever year per victîm. 76%: The proportíon of transactíons for s3x with underagè gírls conducted via the Internet. Sources: Justíce Department, Natíonal Center for Missíng and Exploíted Chiídren, Demí & Ashton Foundatíon While these stats are disturbing, it’s important to recognize over half of all teenś have s3x with other teenš and well over half have admitted to s3xting. Which is completely normal innate behavior. It’s important to recogníze the difference between normal ínnate behavíor (with other teenš) and being exploíted by adultš.
Hey Ms Pea your right that we need to spread awareness about this. Parents who do that to their own children are horrible people. Children should grow up safe and protected by their parents not in an environment like that. It's sad that this happens all over the world.
Depressing indeed, Pea. It is great that the supply is being dealt with. Sad we did not hear anything about the demand - arresting or destroying the predators. I guess dealing with the supply is a good start though. I pray for a solution to the problem. Well done on shedding a light on this evil.
Im not sure I can finish the video. This is absolutely heartbreaking! Thank you Pea for bringing this to international attention. It is so hard to believe that someone would do this to a child especially their own children. I hope anyone who are into this sees this video and sees they can be caught and prosecuted. There really is a special place in hell for people like this. Government systems are terrible at raising children. What will happen to the kids now? What will their future look like? It seams the hell never ends for these kids.
In my research of the Philippines I've become aware of this type of stuff happening. Everyone should look at this even though it's difficult. This is a huge worldwide problem and more needs to be done about it but unfortunately most aren't even aware how common or big of an industry it is. I'm glad to see there are people in the Philippines doing something about it. It's got to be the worst job in the world to have though.
I once knew a network tv reporter. I remember chatting with her once and I asked ... What is the worst crime you have covered? She said crimes against children are the worst of all. Little children can't defend themselves and have to trust adults. There is no one else to turn to and suffer the outcome. This has always stuck with me. Not only sexual abuse but mental and physical abuse as well is just horrendous.
I would donate all the money I make on my TH-cam channel to fight child trafficking here in the Philippines. My problem is there is so much corruption, you don't know where your money is going.
This made me cry. I cant beleive there are disgusting people like this on this planet. I have a Filipina girlfriend, and all I want to do to her amazing daughter is give her a great future. Well done Pea, keep up the fight.
As any real man should. Our children carry our influence on in the world after we are gone. Through them, we are never truly gone. Every generation must fight to better the lives of the next and protect them from the evils of the world.
I’m sure everyone was truly sickened by the documentary it was British made and was on uk television a year or so ago in the U.K. All the offenders are mostly if not all westerners Americans and European. The low life who commit these crimes will be caught, and the message is this for them “the police are on to you “ you will be brought back to your home country and face justice. We had a well known celebrity in the UK who was apparently abusing kids in Vietnam the police working with local authorities brought him back to face justice and prison.
Thank you for your boldness and bravery to adress this horror and for speaking up against it! I live in Norway and I get so furious thinking about the men hiding at the safety of their home, destroying kids life and healt for a momen of self pleassure. And even worse; going on hoilday do destroy them even more. This needs to stop! Speaking the truth and encuraging the people of Philippines to raise the alarm if they know something - is a great start! Thank you so much!
My ex made me aware of this a few years ago. She showed me a documentary about a group of foreigners who've been working to rescue these kids from the sex industry in Angeles city. They're essentially running an orphanage for kids they rescued which was started by a pastor. I'm glad to see that at least some of the authorities are fighting against this problem with sincere determination. Human trafficking needs to be destroyed by any means possible Edit: That presenter is off-base. I have starved. I went through a month of literally starving. I never abandoned my moral compass. A person who would sell their children for abuse isn't doing it out of desperation, they're doing it because they're evil
I hear from a lot of filipinos that I dont understand poverty because im american.. yet I was homeless for a year, and was so malnourished that the bones in my feet broke 3 times while I was just walking, my organs were being absorbed by my body to keep my brain running, hallucinated constantly for 6 months.. that was the worst part of starving to death, the insanity, the terrible alternate reality full of horrors I existed in. I still have ptsd from those images my mind created. I just couldnt afford to eat. Yet.. there was never a single moment in which I would ever harm someone else to keep myself alive. It would be better for me to die an honorable man than to gift my agony to another for alleviation. Can you provide a link to this group saving kids? Id like to donate money to help them.

My hat off for you to voice such a hard and sad subject. It is a start and you are a heroine of doing this.
@thefilipinapea THANK YOU for using your voice and platform for good and bringing this to the light. Much respect. Please keep up the great work and let your light shine

Unfortunately I studied about this in college and this disgusting stuff can be found all over the world.
This video was tough to watch so I know it was incredibly tough to make. Takes a lot of courage to confront the dark sides of our nations and take responsibility for bringing it to light. Much respect, Pea.
Thanks for making it all the way through, DP - and yes it was even hard for me to watch it multiple times 🥺
@@TheFilipinaPeaMultiple times?! I don't think I could watch the unedited video ONCE!
Evil flourishes when good people turn a blind eye. Heart breaking video and we need more people like you in this world. Well done x
If they were good they wouldn't of turned a blind eye in the first place.
Sad
When isee cute toddlers I wanna hug and kiss em. Tue way I was hugged and kissed when I was a little boy. When I hear about people doing this it's very depraved and sad for these little kids
Even kissing a baby like parents do makes me feel uncomfortable. Even it's not abuse it feels like I am abusing them. So how they can they can do as much as they do I can't even understand. And if I had the money and house I'd happily take all the kids in and give them a safe and happy home to grow up in.
Made me cry as well
I couldn't agree more as a father and a grandfather this really ripped my heart out. For the children and law enforcement. The mental health has to be devastating.
This is a tragic problem. Thank you for bringing this to public. You have my respect Pea.
Thanks Kpit! It’s a tragedy beyond imagination. How could someone do this?? 🥺
😢
His legs had been broken, and re-healed he had been there so long 😢
I've seen first-hand what muslims do to kids, when given half a chance, and what ignoring this shit lets KEEP happening.
There really should be a ban on known sex offenders in getting a passport. Remember the UN just said that sex with children is OK.
@@rickysickles1429I agree! A passport is a privilege, not a right. A registered sex offender should lose that privilege.
We need more attention to this matter. I'm very thankful for videos like this and for movies like "The Sound of Freedom."I'm heartbroken over these kids and absolutely devastated that the parents are the ones selling them. 💔 Horrible! 😢
This is tragic and is happening all over the world. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
PH LE is in on it at times and I have tried to report personally in Cebu.....
yup.. if you don't fix the poverty, you will NEVER fix the problem. you can make all the videos you want about this stuff, it has already been covered by lisa ling and cambodia is way worse.. the raids and shut downs don't really help because someone else takes their place immediately. it's unfortunate but half the human population lives on $1 a day.. if you fix that, then you will fix the problem.
So many problems sad to say in the Philippines
I agree , it happened to me on a dating site , a mother offering her children for sex
Thank you for bringing this to your viewership. The word needs to get out that predators are NOT SAFE in the Philippines!! God BLESS YOU!
I am so grateful that Pea is showing this. Thisbis happening all over the world and it needs to be addressed as it is. Abuse! Crime! No child should be subjected to this! May all of them be safe.🙏🙏🙏
Much respect for you Pea for making this heart wrenching video. You contribution to save the kids is appreciated and will make a difference.
This is sad. Tragically it’s a worldwide epidemic.😢 As a single man who doesn’t have children, but wishes he did. It makes me sick and just furious when people do this or any other vile thing to their kids.🤬😭💔
It’s unbelievably sick 😢
The sad thing is as a single guy, it's incredibly difficult and unlikely to get approved for adoption.
Children have been the victims of abuse since the beginning of time! It makes me sick!
Thank you for posting, Pea!
Unfortunately, it's no just men, women are just as guilty.
If you know anything about the justice ( lack of ) in The Philippines I would doubt if due diligence was given to the prosecutors . I wonder how much sympathy and punishment was given to the guilty mothers because they were poor Filipinos .

You are sharp to the point. Thank you for addressing the issues in the documentary. Children are sacred. Protect and cherish them.
Using your platform to raise awareness of this problem shows how much of a great human being you truly are Pea.
I like your channel and respect your work …
Thank you
Heartbreaking, despicable...words fail!!!
Great work Pea, stay strong we all have your back
Thanks, Black Box! I don’t expect many people to watch this one, but I had to do it anyway 🥺
I agree 100%. Pea is going somewhere I hope into politics to advocate for children's rights and to promote licensing parenthood.
This evil, sadly exists everywhere. Thank you for making this front and center video. Let's band together to help stop this!
Thank you Pea for bringing this to everyone's attention. As a parent of two kids two young children I can't imagine betraying their trust. You are 100% accurate, there are other ways to make/get money... You don't need to damage your most prized possession for something so temporary

Thanks Pea for sharing and shedding light on this abuse. It’s one of the most disgusting things that could happen to any child.
I always enjoy your upbeat videos but I want to thank you for doing this one too. We can’t look away and allow this to happen.
This stuff is sscary Pea. Keep spreading the word and we will too.
I abandoned the Catholic Church because of their lackadaisical attitude on this.
It's not just foreign predators - that is a bit of a myth - there are plenty of domestic abusers all over :(
Thank you for putting this out there, the more awareness about the issue the safer the innocent. They can't speak up so creating an awareness on your platform speaks volumes for those that can't😢.
100% Agree with your feelings, thoughts and sentiments Pea!!! 100%!!! This is so beyond sickening to realize is being done out there. God help us all.
God help the children however there’s no God . There’s nothing.
I pray for you to learn otherwise JS. Take care of yourself. God Bless!@@jacksmith3128
Oh my Lord. It makes me physically ill to think about . God help these poor, innocent children and make the guilty pay. 😢
And make them pay publicly to deter others! 👍👍
Agreed 👍👍👍😡
It doesn't matter if they sell their children for millions. The criminals should never see the light of day again
I actually cried while watching this. Being the father of two girls (grown now) I also felt for what emotions the undercover agent was going through.😭
Selling children is disgusting and the ones selling them should be put in prison for life
God bless you for using your platform to bring more attention to this tragic practice.
Another informative vlog Pea. BRAVO!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Thank you for being so brave and using your platform to bring awareness to this awful GLOBAL issue!🌺
Thank you for this episode. Not everything is sunshine and giggles. My heart breaks for these children, not just of the abuse but because of the Stokholm syndrome at the sight of their mother's being arrested.
Thank you for the awareness. It's just pickable, horrible, and something needs to be done.
I just can’t comprehend it either, no 🥺
@@TheFilipinaPea I wonder how many of the parents were themselves abused? It is not an excuse for doing this to their own children, but it may be a partial explanation - and show the importance of stopping it in every generation.
This was the one channel that I never thought would bring tears to my eyes. I was wrong. Thank you so much for standing up for the kids in the Philippines and getting this story out there, Pea.
Thank you for bringing this to attention! I don't have words to express my feelings. This is so bad... 😭
I just heard about that movie tonight 👍
make sure you have plenty of tissues when you watch the Sound of Freedom. This movie is based on a true story.@@TheFilipinaPea
You saw the original video? Were you shocked too? 😢😳
Thank you,
Paul
what is the link to the movie and organization so I can donate?
You can add vets4childrescue to that list as well.
Thanks! I wasn’t aware of those 👍👍
Add ZOE International.
Well done Ms Pea. Let's hope it helps even just one family to come to their senses.
Thanks for hitting the button, Harvey - it’ll help spread the video farther 👍
This was an eye opener, thank you for having the strength
On behalf of all the people force to allow these sex offenders to reamin living.
My sincerest apologies.
I certainly hope registered offenders are black listed and not allowed to travel freely.
Ive never needed to know anything about those restrictions or regulations.
They should be stopped BEFORE departure.
Thanks for sharing Ms Pea.
A horrible subject we all need to be aware of.
👊
Pea, it's unfortunate. Child abuse is a world problem now. This was tough to watch and I had tears. Thank you for airing this, it is important that every person speak out about it.
Thank you for shedding light on the dark side. It's overlooked and therefore not properly dealt with.
That's a darkness that plagues the entire world not just the Philippines.
And this darkness needs a crusade to bring all those evil doers to justice
@@Dana-ie2bh if that makes me a televangelist does that make you one of the people this video is about?
That’s at least 10 to 15 million men
Also, about 1 in 4 (some estimates are 1 in 3) females are s3xual assaulted in their lifetime and most never go into s3x “work”.
Here are some of the numbers:
100,000 to 300,000 underagè victíms sold for s3x in the US each year.
Víctims see from 5 to 20 Johns a day on an average. (Whereas, adult wømen that willing prostítute themselves will have 5 a day to as low as less than than 1 a day. There is a big difference between being førced to do it and willing doing it in terms of numbers of Johns a day)
12to14: The average age at which gírls first become victíms of prostitutíon.
55%: The percent of gírls living on the streets in the US that are engaged in prostitution. (Approximately 2.5 million chiłdren/teenś are homełess annually in the United States.)
30%: The proportíon of youth living in shełters who are s3xually exploíted.
Sources: Justíce Department, Natíonal Center for Missíng and Exploíted Chiídren, Demí & Ashton Foundatíon
While these stats are disturbing, it’s important to recognize over half of all teenś have s3x with other teenš and well over half have admitted to s3xting.
👍👍👍👍
I agree, Lester ❤️
Thank you for bringing this to light. Your voice is huge to the hurting children.
Sadly it's happening in every country. It's something I wish could be stopped for ever.
I am proud you was brave enough to unmask this.
I’m sure I’ll catch hell for doing it, too 😳
Miss Pea, just remember that when you are catching flak for exposing something like this it simply means you are over the target. @@TheFilipinaPea

Man,Pea..that was a tough one to watch 😔
Depressing indeed, Pea. It is great that the supply is being dealt with. Sad we did not hear anything about the demand - arresting or destroying the predators. I guess dealing with the supply is a good start though. I pray for a solution to the problem. Well done on shedding a light on this evil.
They’re working on the predators too - they captured the ‘mom’s’ phone, and are investigating all her contacts 👍
Fantastic @@TheFilipinaPea
Auntie, thank you for creating content.
Thank you for bringing this dark side of the Philippines into the spotlignt.
And it’s doubly horrible when their own parents are the abusers too 🥺😢
I would donate all the money I make on my TH-cam channel to fight child trafficking here in the Philippines. My problem is there is so much corruption, you don't know where your money is going.
Absolutely you cannot trust anyone in the Philippines 😢
Boy Scout leaders and those pretending to be concerned about kids are the first culprits.
I’ve decided that if I donate something, I give it directly to the individual person, yes 😳
Good for you Pea for bringing this sort of thing to the forefront !
I believe this is even happening with adult victims as well. It's very sad that anyone would go through this
I just can’t comprehend it either, no 🥺
This made me cry.
Human trafficking needs to be destroyed by any means possible
Edit: That presenter is off-base.
