I am a fan of your videos and I commend you on making this one in particular . As a father and grandfather I could not watch it in its entirety. All our nations have a dark side to our contemporary and past life. The truth is that evil exists everywhere. My late wife who would never spoke ill of anyone said " We are all capable of gross evil" and at the time I did not think that was true, however a few years later I saw how good people can do the most horrible things. For us by standers or victims it is our duty to call out such evil. If we are not part of the solution we are part of the problem. Kudos to you Pea.

@@TheFilipinaPeaI didn't want to up-vote this, because I don't want even THAT tangential association with it. I decided to vote it up and leave this comment because to do otherwise is to give the impression that it can BE ignored. This kind of thing has been haunting my nightmares ever since I was part of a rescue mission "for a couple dozen local orphans" 30 years ago. Only the numbers were MUCH higher, and the kids were NOT local orphans. So it was political kryptonite, and got shuffled into the "never happened" bin.
Like hell it didn't! I saw a little boy (Sweedish?), maybe 8 or 9, try and slit his own throat AFTER we rescued him. His legs had been broken, and re-healed he had been there so long 😢

Thank you for addressing this subject, Pea. Parents selling their own children to sexual preditors is about as low as it can get. Mind you, here in Belgium we have also been seeing cases of pedophelia over the last few decades, but they were without the consent of the parents. Decades ago we were confronted with a couple (man and woman) who kidnapped children, locked them up in their celler, abused and killed them. More recently many pedophelia cases within the Catholic Church have been reported that happened fourty or fifty years ago. The victims are now retired men who were raped by priests when they were little boys in boarding school. One of the child abusers is a bishop who even abused his own nephew. The request to take away his titles is presently on the Pope's desk, but he doesn't seem to be in a hurry to react. Church authorities have been covering up for these people for such a long time. We recently had a whole television documentary here in Belgium addressing nothing but child abuse by priests, brethern and nuns. I saw the documentary and it was really disgusting! It also caused thousands of Belgian Catholics to send formal requests to be deleted from the baptismal records. So this is not only a problem in the Philippines. I addressed this problem a few years ago already in the first episode of my TH-cam series "7 Amazing Tales of the Philippines" in which I testified how a Filipino in Makate offered his 14 year-old daughter to me for sex. It was an experience that I will never forget. That episode was entitled "My first encounter with poverty" and I remember you left a comment, Pea. I think all vloggers should unite in condemning this behaviour, both for the parents who do this to their own children as well as to the foreign preditors.

Ms. Pea this is a great video and I’m glad you showed it. I was in the Philippines 🇵🇭 in 1979 in olongapo aboard a naval vessel. There was a mile of bars and brothels right outside the gate on the other side of the bridge. We had one sick person aboard our ship that was found to be having sex with a 12 year old girl I personally didn’t see them together but many others did. We pulled out for more patrols and we saw this individual in what we referred to as the “clap” line he was reported to the master at arms and he got VD for his pedophile actions. I heard his penalty was the brig until we reached the mainland USA where he was turned over to the authorities for prosecution. I don’t know what if anything happened to him here in the United States but the young girl was taken away from her parents who owned a bar In olongapo. Tragic. You are amazing for what you do. @@TheFilipinaPea I accidentally found out about this video when I was watching a video about prisons in the Philippines. They talked about women selling their kids to pedophiles so I googled it and found the documentary. It surprised me that it was in the Philippines because in the 1990s and into the 2000s this was big business for boys in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam and for young girls in Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Columbia and Venezuela. I have vacationed in the DR and Mexico many times with a gf and saw fat slobs with these little girls. This was very prevalent even on the beach in the DR. In Cuba twice I went on humanitarian boat deliveries of goods and we were met on the docks by very young girls. We were not there for girls. Parents had them do this as one encounter was greater than one month's salary. You may have noticed that some of the male foreign vloggers have spent time in those countries for the younger girls. Right now I have a dilemma as I know 100 percent that one foreign vlogger was with a 17 year old 11th grade girl in the Philippines in October and will return to the Philippines right before her 18th birthday. The parents approve and he is much older. I have no doubt that this has occurred before with this guy. What would you do?

      @GhostSal ปีที่แล้ว

Even the U.S. doesn’t have the resources to effectively deal with this. This issue is far bigger than most people realize.
There are 100,000 to 300,000 underàge s3x workers in the US (most forced into it). Here is the even more disturbing thing to think about, say they have 100 different male “clients” a year (and we all know that number is definitely much higher). How many guys are involved in this? That’s at least 10 to 15 million men
Also, about 1 in 4 (some estimates are 1 in 3) females are s3xual assaulted in their lifetime and most never go into s3x “work”. Most also experienced the àssault underáge. Again, here is the most disturbing thing about this, that most are àssaulted by a famíly member. That’s 1 OUT OF EVERY 4 (possibly 1 out of 3), so how many men does that mean?
Now take those two numbers and put them together? 10 million and 1/3, take away any overlap and it’s still at least 25 to 50 million men in the US. Think about that next time someone says they are disgusted by this activity. It’s not a small problem and likely this means most guys are attracted to any female that has a developed female figure (without concern for age) but that while most don’t act on it far too many do (and these numbers mean, these are people you very likely know but will not admit it to you: fathers, brothers, cousins, friends…). I know, I’m wrong right? Ok, based on the numbers how many guys do you think it is?
Here are some of the numbers:
100,000 to 300,000 underagè victíms sold for s3x in the US each year.
Víctims see from 5 to 20 Johns a day on an average. (Whereas, adult wømen that willing prostítute themselves will have 5 a day to as low as less than than 1 a day. There is a big difference between being førced to do it and willing doing it in terms of numbers of Johns a day)
12to14: The average age at which gírls first become victíms of prostitutíon.
55%: The percent of gírls living on the streets in the US that are engaged in prostitution. (Approximately 2.5 million chiłdren/teenś are homełess annually in the United States.)
30%: The proportíon of youth living in shełters who are s3xually exploíted. (According to the most recent federał data, there are currently more than 400,000 underagè teenś and chiłdren in shelters today).
75%: The proportíon of gírls engaged in prostitution who have a pímp.
$150,000to$200,000: The amount the average pímp makes ever year per victîm.
76%: The proportíon of transactíons for s3x with underagè gírls conducted via the Internet.
Sources: Justíce Department, Natíonal Center for Missíng and Exploíted Chiídren, Demí & Ashton Foundatíon
While these stats are disturbing, it’s important to recognize over half of all teenś have s3x with other teenš and well over half have admitted to s3xting. Which is completely normal innate behavior. It’s important to recogníze the difference between normal ínnate behavíor (with other teenš) and being exploíted by adultš.

As any real man should. Our children carry our influence on in the world after we are gone. Through them, we are never truly gone. Every generation must fight to better the lives of the next and protect them from the evils of the world.

I’m sure everyone was truly sickened by the documentary it was British made and was on uk television a year or so ago in the U.K. All the offenders are mostly if not all westerners Americans and European. The low life who commit these crimes will be caught, and the message is this for them “the police are on to you “ you will be brought back to your home country and face justice. We had a well known celebrity in the UK who was apparently abusing kids in Vietnam the police working with local authorities brought him back to face justice and prison.

Thank you for your boldness and bravery to adress this horror and for speaking up against it! I live in Norway and I get so furious thinking about the men hiding at the safety of their home, destroying kids life and healt for a momen of self pleassure. And even worse; going on hoilday do destroy them even more. This needs to stop! Speaking the truth and encuraging the people of Philippines to raise the alarm if they know something - is a great start! Thank you so much!

My ex made me aware of this a few years ago. She showed me a documentary about a group of foreigners who've been working to rescue these kids from the sex industry in Angeles city. They're essentially running an orphanage for kids they rescued which was started by a pastor. I'm glad to see that at least some of the authorities are fighting against this problem with sincere determination. Human trafficking needs to be destroyed by any means possible
Edit: That presenter is off-base. I have starved. I went through a month of literally starving. I never abandoned my moral compass. A person who would sell their children for abuse isn't doing it out of desperation, they're doing it because they're evil

I hear from a lot of filipinos that I dont understand poverty because im american.. yet I was homeless for a year, and was so malnourished that the bones in my feet broke 3 times while I was just walking, my organs were being absorbed by my body to keep my brain running, hallucinated constantly for 6 months.. that was the worst part of starving to death, the insanity, the terrible alternate reality full of horrors I existed in. I still have ptsd from those images my mind created. I just couldnt afford to eat.
Yet.. there was never a single moment in which I would ever harm someone else to keep myself alive. It would be better for me to die an honorable man than to gift my agony to another for alleviation.
Can you provide a link to this group saving kids? Id like to donate money to help them.
