    I appreciate when the channels I view stay out of the drama. I usually quit watching when they get too involved in that garbage. I watch to see the content creators content. Not hear them bad mouth others.

      Nope. Haven't watched a single video of his since he went nuts and created a video making fun of me. He likes to stir up drama just to create content. It's stupid some of the lies he has told about me and others. Genuinely...the guy gets caught up in mind games that are only in his head, and they snowball into conspiracies that folks are out to get him and are jealous of his success. Everything he says about people hating on him, or others making really really bad porting mistakes, people being jealous...all just made up. Sucks. He was my favorite channel until he showed his true self. But I wish him the best.

    Now I havent watched your video on why turbos don't mix gonna watch it tonight and maybe you get Into this but if bottom end oiling issues could be figured out could one not machine a new intake port so that it's open when piston is at BDC and block off transfers then it would basically operate like a 2 stroke diesel (screaming Jimmy)
    In my mind that seems like it would work, when the piston nears BDC that new port would open introduce boosted charge into the cylinder and help push out exhaust, and as I mentioned oiling would be an issue. Maybe that will be my retirement project in 20 years.. Lol

    What about using model airplane fuel methanol - nitromethane or a proportion
    of that nitro fuel mixed with gasoline? Just making maybe 10% mix of nitro
    in regular gas - oil fuel should definitely wake up a chain saw.

    So I do a cylinder piston and ring on the fiver dollar 3516AVX Poulan, rebuild the carb twice, buy the 91 octane ethanol free for the 3rd time over the past year at a small city who has it around here and have other chainsaws it ran in...well the rebuild isn't running, order a carb -- still no go - finally last night I take the quart horror stihl supermix ($32 a gallon) can my buddy gave me and get $1.01 87 ethanol 10% octane at the gas station, oil it up and the stupid 3516AVX fires up and I could finally tune on it... Yeah, the little poupou couldn't run the clean 91 octane but 87 ethanol it fired right up... now that was one of the strangest things I've encountered - I'm thinking the 91 ethanol free is bad but I pumped the car some gallons first to "clear the gas pump lines" .... not sure why like 4 other chainsaws ran with it... not saying they ran great but started idled and revved which the 3615AVX rebuild wouldn't... Poulans are kinda .... picky ? The rebuild kit piston weighed 10 more grams than the stock one... that's a 36CC ...

    Those little 8 gram NOS cylinders don't last very long. Maybe upgrade
    to an aluminum 1 liter 640 gram cylinder for extra flow and run time.
    They have regulators to fit so the pressure and flow rate is adjustable.

  • @shakdidagalimal
    @shakdidagalimal 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    That's great.
    Now I'm thinking I could go with the fiver dollar version - a can of starting fluid and a swirlie straw, 25 to one oil mix and some fattie H tune....

    • @7eis
      @7eis 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I thought starting fluid was just fuel. Does it carry oxygen as well?

    • @novicelumberjack
      @novicelumberjack  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Starting fluid is usually ether. I'm not sure it would add power, but might be something I'll have to try.

    Those nitrous bottles are so small it's impossible to maintain pressure .you need a bigger bottle and maby a small propane cylinder for the fuel .it could all fit in a backpack.

    Heck YES entertainment At its finest.!!!
    I personally like dry NOS delivery systems because it’s already in gas form in the containers you buy. With wet systems NOS needs to turn from liquid to gas in the combustion chamber before providing the power boost. ❤️‍🔥☀️🧬

    • @7eis
      @7eis 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@novicelumberjack for a complete burn a precise ratio is essential. More oxygen (from the bottle) -> more fuel needed. Good observation about temperature too - although it bet the effects are more noticeable with a higher pressure bottle. I wonder if a 2stroke carb like that will fuel correctly if boost is applied. A regular air compressor will do 8 bar easily and you will only be limited by tank/gallons per minute it will pump. Chamber pressure will be higher for the same result though, as less of the intake charge is nitrogen with the dry shot compared to atmosphere.

      Look for my videos on my Peter Frampton chainsaw. It's a 4620 that I modified. I have a 16" bar and full chisel .325 chain. It runs EXCELLENT! Open up the exhaust and intake and you'll have a good solid little saw. Port it up and you'll have a real screamer, great for small stuff.
