      Has to be… my fav “I just bought a f660 2 days ago and showed it to my tree service friend and he can’t believe the power”
      They come stock, factory, with junk parts all these guys are outting themselves
      People they’re just inexpensive cases for saws IF you could find them people would want your first born for. I smh regularly. These saws wouldn’t last 5 tanks on a tree service truck. Hell most crews don’t even have time to sharpen them. Just go buy a bar and chain slap it on.. cuts like new lol.
      God damn this new autocorrect listening device bug crap. I’m going to self ban myself from this crap again. We’re just programming ai with all these bot videos designed to get you to comment. To who..?

    I got a kit one for free to build as a trial for a holzfforma dealer out east... I replaced the supplies piston with a Hyway pop up and have been running it in ash for the last couple weeks. Probably only has 3 tanks on it but I'll say this might be a pretty decent clone if it holds up. The power is impressive and it does everything it should just like an oem.

    I put one of the dukes coated pistons in my 394 and it definitely fit good as OEM they are all I'll buy now if they have one that fits what I'm working on

    I think with some oem parts these 395’s could be really reliable and long lasting. I got mine as a kit saw and ended up doing an oem top end after screwing around with pistons. All in all they’re really nice for the money. Great deal

      @@novicelumberjack I got it last Thursday and didn't even open it till last night. I guess my thought is that in the world of 572 and 592 xps which feel substantially lighter why did I buy this big ol boat...lol. I have never had a 395 and I figured this was the cheap way to get one. I haven't even poured gas in it yet, everyone says they have a v shaped piston. I will probably big bore it or try a little porting or something. It will more or less be a toy for me, don't think I would try to make a living with it this day and time...lol. They come in at like 23 pounds with a 24 inch bar which is crazy.

    Got a G660 clone for a milling stump cutting. You know a “don’t care if it blows up” saw
    The thing has been pretty good so far I like to use it on jobs where I have loads of large trees to buck into firewood. Overall Putting less hours on my more reliable saws.
    The oiler is crap though I’m maxed out on the oiler screw and it burns 2 tanks of fuel before you have to fill bar oil..

  • @marcustraber
    @marcustraber ปีที่แล้ว +2

    If you do decide to port your 592, the exhaust port's texture is really really rough. It can also take some more intake timing. I did that on my buddies and didn't cut squish or anything and it helped a little bit.

    👍 not sure on quality, bought two 288 from Amazon, and they are so much better than the 372 in my opinion. No air leaks from the factory- port and muffler mod them and run em. Amazon has a seller at $239-free ship, how can you go wrong? Not sure if the oil pump will hold up…guess I will see.

    I just got done sending back a stock holzfforma G660. And bought a Echo 7310. I was trying to be cheap. Holzfforma pretty much fell apart at first use. You truly get what you pay for. My experience with holzfforma is strictly negative. I’ve learned, after 39 years on this earth, it’s better to buy once, cry once. Holzfforma may be a “mock Stihl.” But it certainly isn’t Stihl quality, or Stihl precision.

    Are piston supposed to have tapers? This sounds a little odd to me. I imagine people could easily thing so looking at an old piston that has worn skirts but not top and therefore think it has taper but thats caused by something else. But I've been wrong before and maybe pistons do have tapers.
    Anyway have a good one Boeds.

    I own two Holzfforma saw's the G388 and the G288 and both are excellent saw's. I've had the G388 four year's and had to change no a thing I did a mild port and muffler mod running 24" bar. The G288 has 28" bar and a dukes oil pump ported the cylinder and shaved some weight from the piston. I thought about a dukes pop-up piston but have mixed emotions
