Invidia G200 Exhaust - Subaru Forester SG9

- Pulled together a few clips of the Invidia exhaust that I have had on the Forester for nearly a year now and it's been great although I could use a little more sound. This is just a G200 catback exhuast. Stock headers, uppipe and downpipe.

Are you running the gaskets they come with? I was told they're flimsy and I would like to hear fro someone about it before I buy it

was this like a full exhaust, been looking for a new exhaust for my stock 05 x, found a cat back exhaust, don't know much about exhausts so not sure if it's a straight bolt on or do I also need headers
I personally haven't found a bolt on exhaust for a n/a Forester. I took an exhaust originally for a turbo forester and had it modified to fit by an exhaust shop.
@@simonfozzy8061 do you know a good set up for a N/A 05 forester, looking for something with rumble and a bit louder than the stock one
@@chrisguzman7926 if you have anything other than an XT you’ll need a set of Un-equal length headers for a “rumble.” If you can’t find any headers-back exhaust systems you could always do a muffler/res delete lmao
how did you get the syms spoiler brake light to blink ?
Look up "GS-100A" on Amazon and that's it. You wire it in line with the brake light. Not necessarily legal in CA, but I haven't had any issues thus far.
do you know the difference between this exhaust and the g200 w/ti rolled tip
I believe the difference is just in the exhaust tip. The ti stands for titanium so it sounds like there's a regular stainless tip or a titanium tip. What I have is the stainless exhaust tip. The titanium one will look blue in color.
How’s the cabin drone with this exhaust?
Not bad actually. It's a very "mature" sound. Especially if you're retaining the factory cats. The rolled metal tip is a nice quality touch too

It's a genuine jdm wangan mid spoiler. Definitely hard to come by
this video might have persuaded me enough to get it for mine.. although mine is an automatic :/ i would be keeping everything else stock too
It's a great mod to get a little more sound out of your car for sure. Currently running a jdm zerosports catback which is a little quieter. The invidia isn't too loud by any means. You know the saying... "iT's jDm bRoOo" 😂

is your forester lowered?
It is! It's on Feal fixed struts for an 04 sti with oem 04 sti springs. Wheel size is 17x9 +33.

@@littletommy7674 I would say so. It's oem '04 STI ride height. All '04 WRXSTI struts are 100% bolt on. No modifications needed.
