Louder is not always better I love the way the g200 sounds, the tone is perfect plus its always nicer to hear turbo spool over loud ass exhaust anyday 😉

It’s not about the noise, that deep tone is so much better, don’t give up this rumble.
The tone is perfect. It’s more pure in a sense that it’s not raspy which makes it better sounding imo.

Danny your STi is sick! I like the sound of the new exhaust. I think that as long as you are happy with it that's all that matters. I also switched to a quieter exhaust on my wagon. I just got tired of it being so loud. Just make your car how you want it and don't worry about what other people think.

Love the upgrade ! No more raspy sound so it’s a huge improvement definitely loving it!
The smoke is from the oil that’s inside the pipe. When I put on my turbo back on it smoked like crazy for a few miles down the road. It’s just the oil burning off. Nothing to worry about.

I reccomend looking into the nameless axle backs as well, just got one for mine and it has that rumble sound but it's also not too loud

Invidia exhaust easily sounds better, cant get enough of that deep rumble
like it alot better, sounds more organized and not all over the place like the other exhaust. i like it
100% better!!! That's the exhaust I want to get, too! Loved watch the progress of your car over the years. I have a '05 wagon, myself. I'm currently running an SRS exhaust that has a similar, deep rumble sound as the G200. Either going to go with the Invidia or the HKS carbon fiber Ti exhaust.

Invidia is the best sounding I reckon! I got the R400 on my 08 STI. For a daily it could be a tad quieter, but when you have to choose between the Q300 (which is practically stock volume but good tone) and R400 (which screams at high revs and makes me feel things) I am glad I got it! Sounds pretty sick man!

This is exactly what happened when I went from an Axle back to the Invidia N1. It’s to as raspy and it sounds better BUT on the other hand, I expected expected it to be louder. It sucks FA’s are so difficult to make them sound really good. The consensus with most Invidia exhausts are very bassy and deep.
