Why are you getting F6? I love my F5 and I like the squared off of the new F6, but I paid for samsung care and do not want to lose out on that money. When we all know most likely the new galaxy AI will come to the F5. Even with the 1200 trade in if you are not a content creator, it's not worth it.

I'm on the 3 too. Had a warranty issue last year and was hoping they'd give me a replacement 5. 😅 Either way I pre-ordered the 6 in blue and only ended up spending $900 total.

One of the best tech reviewers on YT! I passed up on upgrading from the F4 to the F5 but I'm getting the F6. I almost got the OnePlus Open but it lacked features that the Samsung has and I couldn't do without. Hopefully OnePlus improves with the Open 2.

I'll probably upgrade to the s25Ultra if I'm in a better financial spot. The s22U is still a beast though and although I need to charge it once or twice a day, I'm a heavy user. I do wish they bring up the 5x to a further zoom again. Even if they upgrade the sensors to a 1 inch sensor that would be awesome.

@David.AVelez The outer display could be wider , the camera system could be better being a $2k device, the camera underneath the inner display is horrible in my opinion (wouldn't mind a pin hole camera system), the smaller battery size and charging speeds compared to other foldables, and the lack of a built in Spen like the Galaxy s24 ultra. If all of those boxes were checked, this would be the One Phone to Rule Them All, hands down.

I have the fold 5, I'm a long time note user and I can say there are areas I like and areas where they need to improve where this can be my one and only daily driver but I still love it just wish they can improve more

You guys really have a great trade-in program in the US, unlike here in Indonesia. I've been rocking my Fold 5 for 11+ months like yourself and gonna skip the Fold 6 because it's too pricey to trade-in and I still have my Samsung Care+ for another year. Hopefully they improve the battery capacity and minimalize the crease on the Fold 7.

Hi there, great question! The video touches on the durability stuff a bit later in the video - But long story short, no! Thankfully, haha. I've had dings and scratches on the outside (my fault for being clumsy and not wearing a case), but I have never had the internal display or hinger on the Fold 4 nor 5 break or stop working on me thankfully! Even here, I went to Kiagara Falls with my family and the phone got DRENCHED as I was recording - No problems there!

Subscribed today! I had the fold 4 and moved over to the s24 ultra bc my inner screen on my fold broke after a year with no drops.. I would like to see how this phone works for entertainment. I'm on a s22 ultra thinking about switching to z fold 6. Wondering how it is to watch video on. The black bar size. Multi tasking in multiple ways. Example my s22 will put my youtube into a mini window I can drag around while on another app. I like that and wonder if it's still an option. Also is it a bigger or smaller window than an ultra phone. How does youtube work when only half open top to bottom is that possible. How is it in the full video screen vs the viewing comments while watching a video. Basically want to see every possible configuration and example of how youtube watching works on that fold series. Also how well does youtube work on the outer screen briefly. Here I am watching youtube on a phone about this phone wondering if my experience will be improved
What about battery life? Does it hold good? I always find most of the RAM occupied by background applications, I know this is subjective, and unreliable GPS, from my past experience with Samsung😢
Did you not have any lag issues? Had note 20 ultra after 3months it had 0.5 secondish lag when I scroll especially TH-cam and when I press back button it delays. I asked othe galaxy users and they also have lags , but they use to it and don’t seem to bother. It seems like a typical galaxy problem? I switched back to iPhone for the reason… galaxy seem to focus to much on changes that they don’t pay attention to the hardware or system whatver it is called. You know what I mean
Are you switching to fold 6? I have a fold 5 as well. With current deals a new fold 6 with trade-in costs $550 (including tax). But the changes are so insignificant that I probably wont switch to fold 6 from fold 5...

I can say that I have not had any internal nor external screen issues in my last years using Folds (so far.... fingers crossed 😆) My damage is always cosmetic on the side rails and such (my fault for being clumsy and not wearing a case), but never has a screen stopped working on me!

Lots to juggle - BUT I get about 6-6.5 hours of SOT! Not the best, but I usually have a charger available at most points if the day
Hey there! Great question and hinestly... I feel like you'd still be in good hands with the Fold 5! Fold 6 will have: -Better Battery (efficiency) -Thermals -Slightly wider front display (which I prefer) If you don't care about those, then I think you're fine!
Ive had the fold 3, 4 and on the 5 now. So clearly I love my folds lol. That said I also have run them with the ultra devices (I buy both yearly) simply because I don't feel samsungs cameras on the fold are remotely as good as the ultras especially zoom, night shots and video. I can't stay on the ultras for long though because I kiss the big screen lol. Ive got a 1tb fold 6 on pre order...once you have some play time with it you realize it's a bigger upgrade than what you thought it was [other then the cameras]. I think to have a fold.with top level cameras I'll look towards the pixel fold 2, vivo x fold 3 pro or juet released honor magic v3....xiaomi mix fold 4 should also be quite good
I love the z fold series.. i started off with the fold2..I will say the UI 5.1.1 which is still on my fold 4 and fold2 works better with multiple apps open at once then UI 6 and 6.1 which is on my fold5..so i can't blame that on the fold5 because when it had UI 5.1.1 the shortcut multiple apps worked great.. I did but my hands on a fold6 and it felt good but i think its design is headed in the wrong direction with it being shorter and wider which is more like the Oppo N folds and i don’t like that design... i wish Samsung went with the taller wider look like the Xiamoi or Huawei fold designs..

Oneplus was fun, but there was always unnecessary bugs with each OS update, from not receiving phone calls with the OP6 to the home swipe not working with he OP9 Pro, had to back up my data and factory reset the phone.
#GalaxyFam but have been back and forth with Android and Apple over the years. The GF5 is the best device I've owned... Easily the most fun and functional. Hi there, great question! The video touches on the durability stuff a bit later in the video - But long story short, no! Thankfully, haha.
I've had dings and scratches on the outside (my fault for being clumsy and not wearing a case), but I have never had the internal display or hinger on the Fold 4 nor 5 break or stop working on me thankfully!
Even here, I went to Kiagara Falls with my family and the phone got DRENCHED as I was recording - No problems there!

Subscribed today! I had the fold 4 and moved over to the s24 ultra bc my inner screen on my fold broke after a year with no drops.. I like the S24U bc of the bettery battery and cameras, but I just missed the form factor of the fold. Looking forward to your fold 5 and 6 comparison! I'm waiting on my fold 6. So excited!

I would like to see how this phone works for entertainment. I'm on a s22 ultra thinking about switching to z fold 6. Wondering how it is to watch video on. The black bar size. Multi tasking in multiple ways. Example my s22 will put my youtube into a mini window I can drag around while on another app. I like that and wonder if it's still an option. Also is it a bigger or smaller window than an ultra phone. How does youtube work when only half open top to bottom is that possible. How is it in the full video screen vs the viewing comments while watching a video. Basically want to see every possible configuration and example of how youtube watching works on that fold series. Also how well does youtube work on the outer screen briefly. Here I am watching youtube on a phone about this phone wondering if my experience will be improved
What about battery life? Does it hold good? I always find most of the RAM occupied by background applications, I know this is subjective, and unreliable GPS, from my past experience with Samsung😢
Did you not have any lag issues? Had note 20 ultra after 3months it had 0.5 secondish lag when I scroll especially TH-cam and when I press back button it delays. I asked othe galaxy users and they also have lags , but they use to it and don’t seem to bother. It seems like a typical galaxy problem? I switched back to iPhone for the reason… galaxy seem to focus to much on changes that they don’t pay attention to the hardware or system whatver it is called. You know what I mean

Are you switching to fold 6? I have a fold 5 as well. With current deals a new fold 6 with trade-in costs $550 (including tax). But the changes are so insignificant that I probably wont switch to fold 6 from fold 5...

Interested in this for sure. My biggest concern with these phones is I won't get three years or so out of it before the screen becomes an issue.

My damage is always cosmetic on the side rails and such (my fault for being clumsy and not wearing a case), but never has a screen stopped working on me!

Hey there! Great question and hinestly... I feel like you'd still be in good hands with the Fold 5!
Fold 6 will have:
-Better Battery (efficiency)
-Thermals
-Slightly wider front display (which I prefer)
If you don't care about those, then I think you're fine!
Ive had the fold 3, 4 and on the 5 now. So clearly I love my folds lol. That said I also have run them with the ultra devices (I buy both yearly) simply because I don't feel samsungs cameras on the fold are remotely as good as the ultras especially zoom, night shots and video. I can't stay on the ultras for long though because I kiss the big screen lol.
Ive got a 1tb fold 6 on pre order...once you have some play time with it you realize it's a bigger upgrade than what you thought it was [other then the cameras].
I think to have a fold.with top level cameras I'll look towards the pixel fold 2, vivo x fold 3 pro or juet released honor magic v3....xiaomi mix fold 4 should also be quite good

I love the z fold series.. i started off with the fold2..I will say the UI 5.1.1 which is still on my fold 4 and fold2 works better with multiple apps open at once then UI 6 and 6.1 which is on my fold5..so i can't blame that on the fold5 because when it had UI 5.1.1 the shortcut multiple apps worked great..
I did but my hands on a fold6 and it felt good but i think its design is headed in the wrong direction with it being shorter and wider which is more like the Oppo N folds and i don’t like that design... i wish Samsung went with the taller wider look like the Xiamoi or Huawei fold designs..

They charge a $1,000 amount to hold until they receive your device. They treated you differently as a content creator.
But the thing is I don't think they even know I exist 😂 I've never been contacted by them, never recieved any invitations to any events, and I've tried to reach out to them myself and just get crickets haha.
So I doubt i have any kind of pull with the Repair Department haha. Maybe one day! But not today
False, mine broke and they sent one in that arrived in 2 days and came with a box to send mine in. Depends what state you're in and the insurance on it.
